Restricted Account

I strongly advise everyone to avoid Bybit. They have restricted my account (UID: 8185512) and frozen $1,100 over a routine deposit.

I have provided all the necessary proof of the source of funds, yet they claim they need until mid-April to complete a "review." This is completely unacceptable for a standard transaction. Their support only provides automated template responses and offers no real help.
If you want your funds to be safe and accessible, DO NOT join this platform. Holding a customer's money for a full month without a valid reason is unprofessional and shows they do not value their users. I demand the immediate release of my $1,100.

STAY AWAY – Case #24594996 – Major Security Flaw & Zero Support

​I am warning everyone to stay away from Bybit if you value your capital. My account was drained of over $4,480 USD through a critical security logic flaw that allowed a hacker to bypass 2FA and email verification entirely.

​The platform allowed an unauthorized session to whitelist a new address and simultaneously disable all verification requirements for that address. This "silent drain" happened while my account was supposedly protected by 2FA. Worse still, Bybit’s emergency response is a joke. While the hack was actively occurring, I contacted live support multiple times and was forced to wait over 30 minutes for a response. The agents were cold, robotic, and offered zero immediate help while my funds were being moved.

​Bybit will not protect you or act with any urgency when a crisis hits. They put all the blame on the user and offer no accountability for their own flawed security design. I am closing my account permanently and moving to a platform that actually respects its users.
​I bet the Bybit team will just give another generic, automated response to this review—don't be fooled. They are more interested in protecting their image than their customers' assets.

Tried to withdraw 479 Euro

Tried to withdraw 479 Euro, it said Paypal was instant, it cost me 7 Euro but it would be instant, so I chose it. After going through that process it changed to it could take up to 10 days!
I have now waited 8 days (6 business days) and I have waited for 5 business days to get an answer from support.

Every website, store, whatever has no issue with Paypal, it’s always fast and doesn’t cost money to withdraw. This might be the last time I use Bybit.

Update. Now they replied. They are coordinating with the relevant department, they have to conduct a detailed review and tell me additional time is needed.

Is this a joke?
So I sent part of my monthly income that I work for, to invest a bit. And when I decide to take it back they decide to hold the money hostage and drag this crap out for as long as possible! This an outrage!
I told them to cancel that crap and let me put it on the Bybit card instead, now let’s see what they have to say to that.

My experience with Bybit!

I had an extremely poor experience with Bybit using their One-Click Buy (Instant EFT)!

I purchased USDT and the money was deducted from my bank account! Support later confirmed the transaction was “successful” on their side, yet I never received the USDT!!

Instead, the transaction was moved to a "refund", and since then I’ve faced constant delays! I’ve provided all requested proof of payment, but the promised refund is still not processed!

This has been going on since 19 February 2026, which is completely unacceptable, my case #24370096 & #24476149 is still ongoing since then, order no: 01KHVDNRRGCQYMK9WT54QZ4M34

Anyone new to using Bybit need's to be very careful, and mindful about this, especially using fiat payment methods to by crypto on their platform, your funds can get stuck or kept in limbo for days, weeks even months, not even lying, and resolution is extremely slow and poor,

Your support system is extremely weak and your platform appears to continue harboring scammers.

Even when a buyer claims to have made a deposit on your platform, that alone should not automatically give them credibility. In my case, the buyer claimed payment was made, yet when your support team requested proof of payment, they failed to provide it within the approved deadline.

Despite this, your team still extended the deadline and asked them again for proof. This unnecessarily wasted my time and delayed the resolution of the issue.

If a buyer cannot provide proof of payment within the specified time, the case should be resolved immediately rather than prolonging the process.

Your current approach makes it difficult for honest users to trust the system, and it creates an environment where scammers can take advantage of unnecessary delays. I strongly request that this case be reviewed and handled with more urgency and fairness.

Technical trap: Cannot delete account or transfer KYC due to phantom Web3 balance.

Bybit support is failing to resolve a critical technical loop. I am trying to delete my account, but the system blocks it, claiming I have a 'Cloud Wallet balance'.
​Here is the reality:
​Bybit officially discontinued Web3 services in May 2025.
​I have manually deleted my Web3 wallet via the browser extension, yet the system still 'sees' a balance.
​My main balance is 0.
​Because of this ghost balance, I cannot delete my account or even use the 'Identity Transfer' feature (which is also blocked by an unfinished EDD status that I cannot complete). Support has been ignoring my emails for over 24 hours. I am effectively being held hostage by a technical bug.
​I demand that Bybit manually wipes any residual 'ghost' data from my account and either deletes it or transfers my KYC to my new UID immediately. My UID has been provided to support in my recent tickets. Stop ignoring your customers!

Verified account and assets lost

After a relatively straight forward account set-up and being KYC verified, assets transferred to UID went smoothly and one transaction was completed. On returning to login in to my account 24 hrs later, the account was missing and the assets/funds deposited disappeared. In its place, the platform persistently looped me to and from set-up and verify an account, which on doing so stated there is already an account in use. Further investigation revealed an unknown email user had spoofed or hacked the account.
Using ByBit help desk has proven unreliable and failed to allow the selection of all category options required to submit a case and receive a case ID.
There are far more secure, reliable and safer platforms in the market - choose carefully or suffer a loss as I have.

A lot of kyc

A lot of kyc, 2 factor authentication and annoying mails when I try to use my funds. But somehow, someone from India can spend my money multiple times without any notification or 2fa, while I live on the other side of the world with all this fake security stuff. Still waiting (2.5 months) for this issue to be resolved.

(Yeah great. Now I need to file a case again! And wait for months again. I've already done this sh#t multiple times)

Fraud company and worst service

For the past 1 week, I have posted my issue daily on the Bybit Discord server telegram group
• Despite repeatedly raising this serious policy breach concern, no one responded to my issue.
• Instead of addressing the matter, my messages were blocked in the telegram advertiser inr group.

This behavior is extremely concerning. As a P2P merchant, I expect fair dispute resolution and proper investigation. Blocking a merchant who is reporting a serious fraud incident raises serious questions about the transparency of the support system.

I have already sent multiple emails and support tickets but have not received a proper response. You people doing scam with merchant who post Ad even after deposit security

Some people from Bybit team must involve in this scam all merchants facing same issue INR currency

Hi have now been struggling to get a refund for 6 mnths!!
Deposit went through my acc but I never received my funds. Support keeps playing games asking for different info each time
I have requested escallation dept/manager contact info on numerous occasions but they keep ignoring my request.

Your support has stopped responding on the original email trail (84 emails) and started a new trail now again asking for all the information and documentation that I have already provided over 6 months !

I have repeatedly asked for your escalations dept / and manager details just to be completely ignored !!!

I also want to add that since I supplied banking details to your support, an attempt to transact on my account was made which luckily the bank picked up upon and blocked it, so I do not trust sending further banking information to them.

Useless does not even start to explain what your support is !

I am a user of Bybit and recently…

I am a user of Bybit and recently experienced a serious issue with Bybit Pay that has still not been resolved by support.

I attempted to make a payment in Peru using Bybit Pay. The system automatically converted my USDT into local currency (PEN) to process the transaction.

However, the payment was later cancelled, and the funds were returned to my account in fiat currency (PEN) instead of USDT.

The main problem is that this fiat balance is completely unusable:

I cannot withdraw it

I cannot convert it back to crypto

I cannot use it for payments in Bybit Pay

Despite support claiming that the fiat balance can be used for Bybit Pay payments, this is not true, because the service only allows payments in cryptocurrency.

As a result, my funds are effectively locked on the platform.

I contacted support and opened a case, but after more than a week I have not received a clear solution.

I am simply requesting that my funds be converted back to USDT, which was the original asset before the failed transaction.

I hope Bybit will investigate this issue and resolve it promptly.

I would like to report fraud against bybit p2p specialist team. On 07/03/2026 one buyer placed order of INR 99000 and he falsely claimed that I have shared payment details on WhatsApp. Customer support of p2p released the order when i was sleep in night even i provided yesterday night my bank video proof and whatsapp chat proof

The cs seems to be operating the scam by placing the order from any other users account.
Kindly investigate the matter and recover my asset.

If I loose my asset for the customer support team I will file a legal procedure against bybit under Indian law .

Its saying they are not protected 3rd party transaction and communication but basis of fake proof scamming with people

Bybit extorted $1500 from a 65yo Ukrainian pensioner

Extortion and forced profit waivers: A predatory practice by Bybit
I am reporting a case of financial extortion by Bybit against a 65-year-old pensioner from Ukraine. My father’s account, containing $5,800 of his life savings, was blocked without valid grounds.

Bybit issued a direct ultimatum: sign a "voluntary" waiver to surrender $1,500 of trading profits, or the funds will remain frozen. Under extreme duress, he signed it. Exactly 31 minutes later, the account was unblocked.

This proves there was no investigation — only a calculated attempt to seize client funds. We have preserved all raw .eml files and timestamps as evidence. We are currently filing official complaints with the SCA (UAE) and FMA (Austria) regarding their MiCAR license.

Be warned: Bybit uses predatory tactics against vulnerable people in conflict zones.

What a bloody awful company this is

What a bloody awful company this is. They haven't got their membership database sorted at all. They're quick to collect money, but woe betide you if you don't pay. They switched their own app to the EU. Then my account became untraceable and I can kiss my money goodbye. All nonsense emails saying you have to respond within a few hours, which I do. This worthless company then doesn't respond and takes no action. Then, after 48 hours, you get another silly email saying your case has expired. Never do business with this scam company.

I created my own bybit wallet and moved…

I created my own bybit wallet and moved my USDT crypto into it. When i wanted to withdraw i've got "invalid adress" text in the app. I've checked the adress multiple times and it works in other instances of crypto trading. I wrote to bybit support and in reply got message that i have to fill up my gas fee by sending 0,8561 ETH into a wallet. I did that and next day asked why issue still exists. They replied that i need to wait for posting and after that i will be able to withdraw my currency. Since then it's been over 3 days and even though i'm sending questions to support every day i dont get any replies at all. I have around 20 000 USD in crypto locked on that wallet and 0 help from support so far. At this point i'm seriously considering reporting issue to police and hiring a lawyer to sue the company. I highly recommend avoiding this company because you can lose your money by using their apps.
