Case number #24342107

I deposited £700 on the 15th February 2026. I completed all KYC requirements. Only for my funds to be locked. I can’t withdraw, transfer or convert.

I have submitted a wealth of documents as requested by the support team, proof of funds, bank statements, proof of ID, screen recordings..

I have been trying to resolve this issue with the support team but all the responses I get are either generic, repetitive or contradictory.

Being a first time user of Bybit this experience has been extremely unpleasant, frustrating and emotionally distressing. The lack of clear communication and resolution has been very upsetting and has caused me significant concern and distress

It’s extremely concerning to have funds locked and not receive clear explanations or proper support.

Please urgently escalate this case and provide a clear timeline for resolution.

My withdrawals were restricted on the…

My withdrawals were restricted on the 20th, and almost two days later, I received an email explaining the issue. I have provided all the necessary evidence, and support confirmed that the documentation is more than sufficient. As proof, I am attaching screenshots of my correspondence with support, where I was repeatedly promised that the review would be completed in three days. However, after three days, I was promised another three days. I haven't received any explanation via email regarding the current status. I simply want to regain access to my funds.

I had a very frustrating experience with Bybit support. My account was suddenly blocked right after receiving a deposit of $250. Since then, I’ve been trying to resolve the issue through their support system, but the responses I received were only generic template emails that didn’t address my situation.

I provided the information requested and waited for clarification, but after several messages the communication simply stopped and I no longer receive replies. As a user, it’s extremely concerning to have funds locked and not receive clear explanations or proper support.

At the moment, my account remains restricted and the issue is still unresolved. I hope Bybit reviews this case seriously and provides a transparent response regarding the status of my account and funds.

30+ Day Account Freeze with No Explanation

I am writing this review as a one of my last resort. My Bybit account has been arbitrarily frozen for over 30 days, despite my full cooperation.

I deposited my funds in good faith and immediately complied with all "Periodic Review" requests. I have submitted every single KYC and AML document requested by the Compliance team. However, after a month of waiting, I received a generic email stating my funds will remain locked until April 3, 2026, with no explanation as to why an additional month is required.

As an EU resident, I find this lack of transparency and the withholding of my assets for what will be a total of 60+ days to be unacceptable and a breach of standard consumer protection practices.

SCAMMED on Bybit P2P – Very Poor Dispute Handling

I paid a seller on Bybit P2P, but instead of releasing the crypto, he pressured me to cancel the order and even threatened to get my account disabled.
I submitted clear proof of payment during the appeal. Despite this, Bybit cancelled the order and I lost my money.
I’ve done hundreds of P2P transactions on Binance without a single issue. My first major issue on Bybit, and I ended up getting scammed.
Very disappointed with Bybit’s protection system.

Terrible customer support

Case number #24120744

My funds have disappeared overnight.
Beside using a separate GA with 2FA only for Bybit, funds are gone without any warning from Bybit.
They send notifications every time I log in from my phone or my laptop but they didn`t noticed logging from another device/IP address?

Customer support is slow and not efficient, kind a preset robot handling tickets 24/7

After more than 20 days back and forth and providing everything they requested, they just don't want to share the results of the investigation. Why?

Well, that is very strange!?

For the case you want to activate your lawyer, you have to know that Bybit is bound by the laws of Seychelles.

So, don't waste your time and money on Bybit, just accept that you got scammed!

I should have read all negative reviews first!

Bybit took my funds of over $15,000 and never refunded

Bybit.com took my funds of over $15,000, I contacted the support via email and they keep sending generic response to get a police report which I did for about a month and they did not still refund my money. I can track the money is still in the app. And seems bybit take people’s money if you use them over time. And you may never get your money back.

They are intentionally stealing people’s funds, I got a lawyer on the matter and all effort proved abortive as they will only send you copy and paste answers, no real manager to escalate the matter to and even the fraud department don’t help.

I have sent multiple mails and my lawyer also did severally and there have not been any response for over 2 weeks.

Extremely disappointing customer…

Extremely disappointing customer service.

I have been experiencing serious problems with the app for several weeks now. I can no longer make fiat deposits, and despite numerous contacts with support, the only response I receive is always the same: *“We will review your file and get back to you within 24 to 48 hours.”*
The result: no concrete response, no follow-up, and I have to systematically follow up myself only to end up in the same loop.

Certain features have also been restricted without any clear explanation or specific justification. My account is now classified as “high risk,” which prevents me from becoming a P2P merchant, even though I can still carry out P2P trades normally—a total inconsistency.

I was asked for several documents for fiat deposits, which I provided correctly. Despite this, the verification service seems unable to understand the difference between trading volume and the funds in the account. Then I am simply told that the verification has failed, without any valid explanation. Every time I ask for clarification, I get no specific answer, only new deadlines of 5 to 7 business days

After weeks of waiting, repeated reminders, and broken promises, it's hard not to talk about a lack of professionalism and respect for users. I really feel like support doesn't read the files or that checks are automated without any real human analysis.

The only reason I remain on the platform is for the liquidity and competitive prices. But how can I trade with peace of mind when restrictions appear without explanation and every solution I find seems to be immediately blocked?

An urgent improvement in customer support and transparency in decision-making is really needed.

Technical Glitch and Price Manipulation on Bybit (Ticket 24437044)

My experience with Bybit has resulted in financial losses due to a technical glitch that the exchange refuses to acknowledge.

The Issue:
My position on POWERUSDT was liquidated at a Mark Price of 1.0099, while the actual market price on the chart was 0.96521. This discrepancy represents a 4.63% deviation within the exchange and a 6.8% deviation compared to the global market index (e.g., Binance).

Why this is manipulation:

Inconsistent Data: Bybit provided contradictory information. The initial liquidation notification cited a price of 0.989, whereas subsequent support responses claimed 1.0099. This proves a lack of transparency and unreliable calculation mechanisms.

Refusal to Audit: Support repeatedly ignores my mathematical evidence of a technical failure, relying solely on generic templates about "margin rules" instead of investigating the 6.8% price gap.

Censorship: My official Telegram account was banned immediately after I began asking questions about this discrepancy, which I view as a deliberate attempt to silence a user and cover up a technical error.

Result:
The exchange has effectively cut off communication channels, leaving me with automated responses in ticket 24437044 while ignoring factual evidence of a system malfunction.

Current Status:
I have prepared an official complaint to be filed with the AFSA (AIFC) regarding this unfair liquidation and the violation of consumer rights. If you trade on Bybit, be extremely cautious—your positions may be liquidated based on "synthetic" prices that do not reflect actual market conditions.

Bybit restricted my withdrawals and is not resolving my issue

Bybit needs to be more attentive to South African Clients. Trust me, over 2 years using their services I have no complain except for how they handle South African Client's issues. They once froze my Bybit account when I made a large deposit from my Trust Wallet because I wanted to buy a car and for days they did not allow me to sell my crypto for fiat because their support agents don't respond 24/7 in South Africa. I am currently looking at the very same situation now and all I'm getting are Ai suggestions which are nowhere close to resolving my issue. In other words, I'm seating with an account restricted from withdrawals and no customer support responding to my inquire since over 24 hours ago.

Feels like I lost 2 grands UPD Feels like they lack service workers

Transferred a popular stable coin to bybit and money is stuck. Can't do literally nothing with them. Can't transfer, can't trade, nothing. They say that it's on a "maintenance" which is bullshit, cause network is fine. And that "maintenance" has began before I transferred the money and there was no disclaimer and no warning when I did it. Bybit, you're scammers!

After more than an hour that stretched thru a day of conversation via in app chat and then email which was few times awkward and all the time extremely polite and pleasant it turned out that I could transfer my money for a while already, they just forgot to notify me. Two times their client service told me I'll be notified immediately. Two times "highest priority assigned to your case". Well, well...

3 stars just because it's not the worst exchange and trying all the time. But after this case no, I'm good!
Held my money for a two months. Good for them.
Btw still don't know why they asked for that case number which I created exactly because of them asking for it here, which was also troublesome and not pleasant. No reaction to it at all.
