This company is a scam! crap stuff that does not even closely resemble the pictures. And they obstruct returns by asking stupid questions which feels like they are trying to make you give upp.

Absolutely dreadful company do not buy from here. My husband bought 2 shirts. They sent the wrong items and they were of poor quality. When he wanted to return them they took a while to send a return address which was in China. The tracking postage back was going to cost over £30 so he chose international post which was still £20.
Two months later after several emails where they ask for price of posting etc (I have supplied this several times) he still has not had a refund. They are con artists!

The customer service is obviously generated by AI. My experience was the same as all the other reviewers, An unbelievably shoddy item delivered, nothing like the advertised item, no size, no tags, no label except a vey small one in a side seam, indicating that it was made in China, terrible fabric in a small parcel and a crumpled mess.
You will be completely wasting your money by using them and unfortunately won’t see it again should you wish to get a refund. Amazed that they can get away with it.

Saw this coat online looked amazing I did check were it was coming from clearly states Norway.
Arrived today squashed in a tiny bag the life had been sucked out off it so when I opened it wow the smell ....
I paid 89.00 pounds for this piece of black material so cheap it was horrendous feel very let down is this legal? in my eyes its deception as its clearly not what they advertised would like a full refund .... how and why do they do this i would never wear this

This website is a con AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Awful quality (genuinely so so awful and thin), sizing is WAY off (I’m a size 12 and an xl feels tight). They refused to refund me, or process a return unless I paid shipping to their HQ in China which costs almost as much as the item I purchased! Absolute con and I’m shocked they’re legally allowed to operate. Terrible.

Absolutely terrible.

Received completely the wrong colour, contacted immediately and they replied right away but as soon as requested a refund and return they have since ignored me. I have requested the refund process and policy 4 times now and each time have been ignored.

Also, garment was advertised as “Linen” label shows made in China 40% linen 60% polyester. Should be advertised as polyester!!

Terrible company - Avoid at all costs

As other reviews state the goods are not as advertised and after many emails did not receive a return address. Paid with a Credit Card and contacted them and the same day the company confirmed a FULL REFUND. So if you paid with a Credit Card the Credit Card Company will own your problem, because if you pay with a Credit Card your contract is with the Credit card company not ByCostello

I’m extremely disappointed with this company. The product I received was of very poor quality, nothing like what was advertised. On top of that, I’ve been sending emails and follow-ups about my return, but no one bothers to reply. Their customer service is absolutely terrible — it feels like they completely ignore their customers once they’ve taken the money. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Terrible communication & good luck if you need to return something

Tried to blame me for an incorrect address, which on the confirmation email was listed correctly. Bycastello and Evri a combination from hell. I was also a fool not to check on here first. I am writing to my Member of Parliament to ask him to investigate this company.

Scam company who do not abide by UK Consumer Law.

Miss sold the product. Said it was linen, when it arrived it was cheap, crap polyester. Felt like cardboard.

Won't accept any fault.

Won't pay for the product to be shipped back for them as they should under british consumer law.

They think their returns policies supercede the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Would strongly recommend not never to buy anything from them

DO NOT BUY! CHEAP, POOR QUALITY ITEMS! WILL NOT PAY FOR RETURNS EVEN THOUGH ITEMS ARE NOT DESCRIBED AND RETURN ADDRESS IS TO CHINA!

Having received the poor quality goods,I am trying to return the items but nobody is getting back to me regarding how to return.
I have not had 1 email so no order number or reference number.
I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered from them, they are dreadful, DO NOT USE!!

24.09.2025 I have just received a response from By Castello asking me to contact their customer services with an order number. Which bit do they not understand, I have never had an email with an order number, I have sent 3/4 emails to their customer support & not had one response

Absolute scam website..please do not order. The website looks amazing, but when my shirts arrived there were of the worst quality and the Medium and Large sized shirts were both more like a X Small . No labels or even size labels in the shirts.When you contact them they reveal they are in China. Scam websites like this give the others a bad name - Disgraceful!

This Company is not any help when you want to return an item.and they expect you to pay the postage back.i will not be posting anything back as I just think they are out to scam people.no good coments on here about this company.

Terrible company, don't buy from them. Picture on website looked great, item was nothing like the picture when it arrived, cheap poor quality materials. I complained and got no where. Avoid!! Scam!!

Absolutely abysmal quality merchandise. Arrived damaged/stained and the only way to get a refund is to post back to China at your own expense.
Had I read Trustpilot before I would never have bought from them.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, ABSOLUTE SCAM.

Huge scam don’t even bother ordering anything the quality is polyster when it says it’s 100%cotton and even more their customer service is appalling, you won’t even get a response out of them
