Perfect cottage pants
These loose linen pants are what I live in from May long weekend to Thanksgiving. They're breezy enough for hot days but cover my legs for mosquito protection. The elastic waist is very forgiving after a big cottage BBQ. No regrets.

Every woman in Canada owns Blundstones and these straight-leg jeans are the perfect cut to pair with them. The hem sits right at the boot top, no awkward bunching. The dark wash is a proper indigo too. Chef's kiss.

Smells weird out of the package
Opened the package and was hit with a strong chemical smell. Washed it three times and it's mostly gone but still lingers. The blouse is pretty - nice floral print, good weight - but that initial smell was concerning. What chemicals are we talking about here.

This mock neck is chef's kiss
The perfect in-between when a turtleneck feels too much but a crew neck isn't enough. The mock neck sits beautifully, the organic cotton is soft, and the slightly boxy fit works tucked in or left out. No notes.

Lululemon dupe that's honestly better
I know I know everyone loves Lulu but this athletic top is half the price and performs just as well. The four-way stretch is comparable, the seams don't chafe, and the colour selection is actually better. Sorry not sorry Lulu.

Perfect for layering under a parka
When you're wearing a Canada Goose parka you need thin layers underneath or you'll roast on the TTC. This tissue-weight tee is ideal - barely adds bulk but still covers everything. Great under chunky knits too.

Cozy hoodie for WFH days

Hockey game casual top

Cute but the arms are weirdly tight
Love the style of this peasant blouse but the elastic at the wrists cuts into my arms and leaves marks. I don't have particularly large wrists either. The body of the blouse is flowy and beautiful but those wrist cuffs need a redesign.

Every flannel I've ever owned has been boxy and unflattering but this one is actually tailored for a woman's body. Darts at the bust, slightly nipped waist, and the red plaid is very classic Canadiana. Wear it with everything.

Best layering tee for Canadian weather
You know how it can be -15 in the morning and +5 by afternoon? This merino base layer handles it all. Thin enough to layer under a sweater but warm on its own. No pilling after months of wear. Worth every dollar.

Basic but reliable
Nothing fancy just a solid black dress that i can dress up or down. The fabric has some weight to it which i appreciate, no see through nonsense. I rotate between this and two other dresses for work. Its held up through probably 50 washes now.
