Straightforward and simple

Straightforward and simple for an international multi-city airline booking. The airline issued the tickets within a few hours and we could log-on to their site to complete meal and seat reservations (Bus Class).

These scammers pocketed my flight refund

I had a flight cancelled a year ago, and the airline issued a refund to BYOJet's predecessor, StudenUniverse, immediately. A whole year and dozens of calls later and they still saying they're "working on" my refund. I have receipts and tracking numbers from the airline showing that they cashed the refund check and have simply refused to pass it back to me.

Probably one of the worst 3rd party…

Probably one of the worst 3rd party experiences J have ever used

I cannot add luggage to my itinerary and they changed the flight without notifying me. This company should not be allowed to book flights

Please be advised that baggage can be added via the Manage my booking tab on your chosen airline's website.
As for the schedule change, these are imposed by the airline. We have no control over changes made to timings of your booking.

I wish I'd booked direct w carrier, I'll never use BYOjet againOjet (BYO) again

I'll never use BYOjet (BYO) again.
4 people in our group, 4 legs each - we all booked separately but 2 booked thru BYO.
We all needed to change our holiday plans (and thus flights) due to a typhoon. BYO refused to change mine but changed the other BYO person for free.
It was an option to skip 1 leg but BYO said if I did not take every flight they would cancel any further legs (no refund). The guy on the phone actually sounded delighted that he had me trapped.
The carrier said they would change but would charge me $550 for a $250 flight of equal value. That same carrier changed the 3rd person's flight for free (he booked direct w carrier and I wish I'd done the same)
Cost me a day of my holiday and $ for an extra flight.
I'll never use BYO again.

The rejection to cancel just one of the flight segments stems from the airlines fare rules. All tickets must be used in sequence meaning that if you remove one from the reservation or fail to show up the airline will cancel the rest of your booking due. This decision is not made by the agency; the agent did give you the correct info, however.

Overall, I am sorry we couldn't assist you as you would have liked but, in this instance, it was the agreed upon fare rules preventing you from doing so.
