Abusive pricing algorithms and worst customer service ever!

I ordered a ride in Sevilla and the driver did not take me because I was with my 4-year old daughter. Ordered another ride and the price increased more than 3 times! I had no other choice and had to take it. When I contacted customer service to complain they kept replying with copy&paste standardized answers which barely related to the topic I was trying to address. Insulting and frustrating… worst experience ever! I deleted the app and will never use it again.

They charged me ONE ride THREE times and then blocked my account

I have no complaint about the drivers as all I travelled with were extremely friendly and professional but the service from Cabify is outrageous and the customer service is absolutely terrible.
I did ONE ride on the morning of April 24, but they charged me 2 rides because they said I cancelled less than an hour prior which is a complete lie since I cancelled 75 minutes prior, as I checked the time.
When I sent a message claiming for this, they not only cancelled my account but also charged me AGAIN for God knows what.. I did an 18 euro ride and they charged me 50!!!????!
I've been trying to get a response ever since and I'm getting nowhere, they keep telling me nonsense (after days of waiting) and resolving nothing even though I did send the information they requested from me. I just want my money back and will very likely never use their service again. And I insist, the drivers are great, the company is a shame.

Cabify deleting records and sending cab with number plates not maching

Booked a cab for 16 euros, the payment went through and my bank statements shows the charge. When the ride finished, by a car with a number plate different of the one in the app they charged me an extra 25%. No middle stops, no toll, no waiting time, no traffic… no reason. Cabify states that on their records only shows I accepted 20euros charge. Sent them the copy of both bank statements and the only thing the say is sorry. I am contacting OCU to investigate further as it is SCARY that they don’t register the number plate of their drivers and they tweak the records!!!

Absolute scum bags!!!!

Absolute scum bags! Worse experience ever.

I pre booked a taxi a week prior and everything seemed to be going well, until the day we was waiting outside and the taxi was supposed to arrive. He never did. The taxi driver clicked confirm that we was in the taxi, WE WASNT, and decided to drive around for hours on end and try and run my card to 490 euro!!!!! Ended up stranded in the middle of Alicante. Tried to call customer service and as soon as they heard we was English they kept declining our calls.

The taxi driver stupidly has his name and number plate attached, so if you get a trip with FERNANDO

This company is a joke..

This company is a joke...

I frequently use taxi services (uber/didi/indriver) and I wanted to make a try with Cabify. As a new customer, I got 60% discount on the first 3 trips. ok, great! now it turned out that the price Cabify charges is so increadibly high, even applying 60% discount, the trip cost me more than other companies, for exactly the same service.

what´s the point to offer a welcome special rate if you are unable to offer competitive prices? useless

NOT SAFE. DO NOT USE

I’ve been a loyal Cabify customer for years, but the service has seriously declined—both in terms of the app and the quality of drivers. Unfortunately, I recently had a terrifying experience that left me feeling unsafe, especially knowing that their driver now has my address.

My street was closed, so I asked the driver to drop me off where we were so I could walk the rest of the way. Instead, he kept driving and suddenly started screaming at me. I begged him to let me out and began filming for my safety. In response, he called me a “puta” (wh*re in Spanish).

Cabify has done nothing to address this situation or offer any form of compensation. I no longer feel safe using their service.

Package delivery Buenos Aires

In Buenos Aires I used Cabify to deliver a package. I made a stupid mistake to put the right address but on another location just outside (4km) the center. This happens in Buenos Aires, where streets have the same names but just in another location.

During the ride I informed the driver about my mistake and also tried to call him. None of my messages were ever answered so I contacted customer support. At first they were very helpfull in trying to solve my problem, but their last message was like 'go back to the place and try to search for the package yourself' , while I already told them I left the country.

So take care when you use Cabify to deliver a high valued package. When the driver says it's delivered they won't do anything for you. Package lost :(

Fraud

It was a good service but now they became a fraud: they can charge you for nothing (I cancelled the order but they placed an order anyway and charged a full price), they changed the final price. The support does nothing only provide a general answer

Cabify Barcelona AVOID

Reserved / Booked a cab from our accommodation to the airport for 3.30 AM pick up for a 6 am departure.

App messaged at 3.00 AM from the driver saying on my way. We called at 3.40 to ask him where he was as he was 10 minutes late. Sounded like he was in bed. We waited till 3.50 and gave up.

Cancelled the reservation and booked an Uber which arrived 5 minutes later.

Never using Cabify again.

Will be checking my credit card for a charge just in case. Terrible service when you need to get to the airport in a timely manner.

Not reliable

We asked for a bigger car in order to go to the train station. I checked the availibility several times at several days - it was always indicated that there will be a driver within 10 minutes or less. When I finally called a car, they couldn’t find a driver (on a normal monday morning at about 11:00). At the end we walked quite far with big suitcases through Málaga since there was no taxi available at short notice.
I will delete the app and never use it again!

Don't use them

I received no notification or confirmation for a pre booked ride in Seville, driver turns up early and charges me extra for keeping him waiting before the pick up time.
No messages, no way of knowing if and when a driver would turn up.
Total rip off, do not use this service.

I ordered a Cabify and the GPS gave a wrong location to the driver. He got to the point showed by the app but I was in a different point. I called him and by the time he got to my location free waiting time expired and they charged me for extra waiting time. I claimed that the error was from their GPS system and they basically ignored my reply. Not recommended... When you have an issue is when you discover is you deal with a serious company.

The problem with Cabify is you never…

The problem with Cabify is you never know what kind of driver you will get. Cabify would do better if they trained and demanded that a certain level of service should be provided to all clients. This is not the case though. Customer service is dying nowadays, it's just to do the least possible and that's it. Don't get me wrong iv had good and polite drivers but iv also had rude and bad drivers. I had a driver the other day who didn't even say hello,would not open the boot,as said earlier Judy doing the least as possible. If Cabify trained and demanded a service of all their drivers as part of the job it would be better but they probably only care about doing as many jobs as possible and making as much money as possible

This is a horrible service!!

This is a horrible company, think twice before booking a taxi through this app. I ordered a taxi from Barcelona city centre to Montserrat through this app because it offered a kid option. The idea with a taxi was to go door to door in a winter season with minimal exposure to cold air. The ride waa about 85€. The driver left us in front of the parking refusing to go forward as it cost 7 euros. I offered to add a tip to the ride, since I did not have cash and got a rejection, Moreover, the driver cheated thet it is 5 minutes on foot from the parking entrance to the monastery.

I had to carry a 7-month-old baby and a pram for around 25 minutes under extreme cold wind. We all got sick and the baby had extreme temperatures because of such a disgusting service. I contacted the call centre and received casual apologies from the guy handling the case. Moreover, the app charged me more than it was supposed to, and the guy billed me again and refunded the error.

In sum, avoid them as much as you can.
I had only 1 ride with them, and it is the last one for sure!!

Tips not paid and awful customer service!

My 1-star rating is relating to Cabify bugs and customer service.

I would give 5 stars for the drivers themselves as they work really hard for the services they provide.

I recently used Cabify and had an excellent driver, so I selected to add a tip for the journey.

Unfortunately the tip did not get added to the journey, so I contacted customer service who said they couldn't add it now, and they closed the ticket.

Seeing as it was a Cabify system fault, surely they could add the tip themselves?
I'm appalled as it's clear that drivers are not being fairly compensated for their efforts and this is to an incredible disadvantage.

I will no longer use Cabify and have warned others of my experience.

What a shame.

It took me forever to have a customer’s service agent, and the girl closed the chat saying that she handled the situation and nothing was done , I had to contact them for more than 3 times to have my money back because the driver said that he was waiting and I haven’t been contacted so he kept waiting for 6min without telling me that he is already at my place.

I scheduled a executive car 5 days in advance. The app showed a driver all ready selected up to 10 minutes before my pickup time to the airport. They never showed. They cancelled last minute only because I contacted them asking where is my car. They respond said sorry for the inconvenience. This company should not be in business and I hope anyone who reads this does not ever select this company.

Being charged for drivers not showing up

I requested a driver at the airport, the driver was not moving and kept asking me where am i until he cancelled the trip.
The day after i checked the account and saw the company charged me for the service.
I had to claim several times to get my money back.
The app does not allow you to block drivers, to prevent this to happen again.
