Wrong Pickup, Extra Charges, Terrible Support!

Cabify directed my driver to the wrong location, forcing me to walk 8 minutes to find him! The address on Google Maps was correct, but their app had it wrong. I was then charged extra for the wait time, and when I complained, customer support refused to refund me, claiming the driver waited 10 minutes. This service is a joke!

Charged waiting time despite unclear instructions - don’t use them

Awful pick up at Barcelona Airport
I was given effectively non existent instructions via Cabify app. At T1 there are numerous pick up points and many floors, areas of pick up. Several pick up points internally and externally for parking. I asked the driver who said ‘planta 3’ only. I was sending messages asking for more information or a picture to find bearings. Didn’t send anything. Had to use google translate for this. The driver said ‘call me’ and wouldn’t reply. I said no send more on chat (as we were communicating like this) received nothing back and had to cancel. It also made me feel unsafe as a woman. However, but this time, I’d been charged over 12 Euros in ‘waiting time’ despite frantically to find the driver. I also then had to arrange another Cabify, at an additional cost to myself. But by this time I was late for an important meeting and extremely stressed. I also feel with certainty that the company do this deliberately . It’s a way for them to make money easily by giving unclear directions or not responding, especially to tourists

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. As you can't complain about anything to the driver, it's better not to use this service and go for a traditional taxi, with someone who can solve your doubts and complaints.
In any case, abusive fares, always in ‘high demand’ and if they can with a ‘waiting charge’. Not recommended at all.

I had to add another review as I tried to get my 15 euroes taken from me by a driver who did not pick us up from the correct place. This company has zero customer service, they wrote me back never dealing with my problem. No one even seemed to respond to me other then bots. They don´t care about the customer. Not at all. One of the worst customer service I´ve ever seen. Absolutely do not use this company. The drivers scam you and the company helps them to do it. You won´t get a refund, you won´t get a real person help you. They just keep writing to me with a bot that never answers my problem but keeps telling me they have dealt with it. But no one dealt with it. Companies like this need to go out of business as they make the world a worse place for everyone. They encourage lazy drivers to do the minimum amount of work by giving them free money from your account and then they prevent you getting it back. DO NOT USE CABIFY!!!! Not ever!

I have been charged 15 euro extra

I have been charged 15 euro extra. The reason for that is that the driver has been waiting for me which is not correct. I have scheduled pick up at 15.00 from Bcn to airport and the invoice i received for this route includes the pick up time which is 14.57 and the arrival time to the airport. I contacted their customer service but they keep telling me that i was late even if i see on my invoice pick up time and arrival time

Do not use cabify!

Booked a cabify at the airport, the driver came but to the wrong place and instead of him changing place, he hung up on me, cancelled the trip and charged me 12.50 EUR. I opened a complaint and they did absolutely nothing. do not use them!

Driver did not wait even though I communicated with him, left me waiting. Cancelled my trip and then I got charged 13Euro for nothing. Ridiculous, terrible signage at a large airport totally dishonest Take taxi cheaper, no wait no hassle.

I booked Cabify 2 days in advance and they never came

I booked Cabify 2 days in advance for a pick up in Barcelona to Barcelona Sants to catch a train. The Taxi and driver were confirmed by Cabify for the scheduled pick up in advance. When the scheduled time came, The cabify web site showed the reservation but was searching for a driver and the driver was never confirmed. After the pick up time, nothing showed on the Cabify website and I had to spend 20 minutes finding a taxi. Do not use this company

Cabify - Rip off company

Rip off company. Charged me twice for a journey in València Spain. Driver said cash only but app charged me online…
Queried it but they never got back to me
Feel like I’ve been robbed in the street.

Registering in the app is kinda buggy.

If you changed your mobile number and cannot receive an SMS on the old phone number anymore, you cannot access your profile or take a ride.

You need to register your new phone number with a new e-mail address...

Letting the account with the former mobile number delete by the customer service did not work.

The customer service now made it possible to use my new phone number with my preferred e-mail address.

A very bad experience today with…

A very bad experience today with cabify. When I first booked the journey the taxi was supposed to pick me up in 5min. After booking it went up to 9min.

When there was only 2min to go, the driver cancelled the job and I had to book another one which took a further 12 minutes!!!

Complete scammers

Complete scammers. Charged me 44.90 for the moped service while I was trying to book my taxi to the airport. I don’t have a licence to drive a moped so it isn’t a service I can use. Refuse to reimburse and sent me a dud link to make a complaint. Only option is to take the scam charge up with the bank. Avoid!!!

Taxi Scammer Santiago International Airport

The taxi driver of the black and yellow ( supposedly official taxi in Santiago) scammed us for $1000 US at Santiago International Airport on 21/3/24. He drives a 2018 KIA Cerato Number plate KPKY92. It has a Cabify sticker on the back window. Do not accept a ride with this driver. He is a scammer. He possibly goes under the name of Lizana Valdes Miguel Ignacio.

Not fit for purpose if you have a foreign number

I was in Spain but I have a British phone number. The app just wouldn’t work, as It would not send me the txt needed to log in. I tried again when back in UK so that I can be ready for the next time, but still nothing. Rubbish app and clearly not fit for purpose.

No help available if anything goes wrong

If anything goes wrong with your drive, Cabify customer service will not help. I got a taxi yesterday to view an apartment since I was not able to walk far after spending the previous evening in hospital, and the morning at the CAP. The driver left me in a totally different area and I had to walk 25 mins to get to the apartment I was viewing. I contacted Cabify at the time and they told me I was already at the apartment. I've contacted them since on Twitter and the help forms and they say the same thing. Crazy!!!
