I received a beautiful art pack from Samantha which is helping me to unwind and bond with my baby during this pregnancy.
A gem of a woman who every bite thing woman needs
I met Sam after my birth as part of my seeking healing for post birth trauma. She was the most kind, understanding soul who helped me work through a lot of the issues I had around my birth and helped me understand what happened to me. She is one of the most supportive people I have ever met with a depth of experience and patience rarely found these days.
Highly recommend
I was lucky enough to come across Sam's group when I was contemplating a home birth. I attended a course run by Sam and the empowerment it gave me was astonishing. Sam is incredibly Knowledgeable and cares so much. She spends so much of her time helping people for free. I was fortunate enough to be able to advocate for myself when the NHS wanted to do various interventions during my pregnancy which I knew through the help of Sam and the group were completely unnecessary and based on no clinical reasoning. I had the most wonderful home birth which helped heal some of the pain from my previous birth trauma. I could not think more highly of Sam and definitely recommend.
Before I found Sam I was so scared to birth
At 28 weeks i was declined for funding in UK for a doula. I wrote a status on the Home Birth Support UK Facebook group as I was gutted. As I have previous trauma from CSA I was very scared about going it alone without an advocate for me and my partner. Some midwives don't always seem to let your body do what it is supposed to do and I wanted to learn as much as possible about what is normal and what doesn't need to be done. Samantha is absolutely amazing at putting you first and never lets anyone stress! She even offers a free 15 minute phone call. Due to my distress in the post, Sam offered me (for free) to join the Freebirthing group just to learn more about all situations that could arise. I'm now nearly 39 weeks and i am so excited to give birth! I can not wait to allow my body to do what it's got to do for us to meet our daughter! I'm truly so grateful that I've learnt so much, the group is very helpful. Sam gives all her time and energy into making every woman (pregnant and post partum) feeling like they actually own their bodies because we do. We get to decide and make informed choices due to the easily accessible information and work that Sam creates.
Amazing woman
Sam is absolutely amazing at what she does. She has created the most beautiful space for women in her Facebook support groups and I’d highly recommend her freebirth course. She is so knowledgeable and supportive and has completely changed my views about myself for the better.
Would highly recommend
I am a part of Samantha's free groups, Home Birth Support Group uk and The village, the information and support I have received through both groups as been invaluable to me. I am also a Hypnobirthing & Antenatal teacher, as well as a Baby Massage facilitator and I recommend her groups to all my clients and ofteren point them to her website which has some amazing information and stories on. I love how we can discuss most topics that are not welcome in other groups and the respect that is shown between members when an emotive topic is raised I a credit to Samantha and her ability to create safe spaces. Thank you

I don't even remember how I came across Samantha's pages but thank goodness I did. I had a fantastic homebirth that went perfectly to plan and I know it was due to the confidence I'd gained from going through the resources Samantha has made available. If you can gain that much from her virtually I can only imagine how powerful one to one, in person interaction is. A brilliant expert in her field.

Samantha does amazing work empowering birthing women her group made it possible for me to have the most incredible home birth with my daughter that wouldn't have happened without her support during my pregnancy!
A great source of strength and support: Sam runs fantastic groups where women…
Sam runs fantastic groups where women can feel safe, learn and get much needed support, all for free. I'm sure she must be a lovely doula to have and I would be glad to use those services from her if I needed them. One thing she does is to protect and warn people about the abuses that sometimes occur on the maternity system and help them to avoid coercion and to make informed choices. This means that people who are involved I those practices sometimes get rubbed up the wrong way. A sure sign that she is doing something right. She is on the right side, the side of women, and fulfills that responsibility with integrity and courage.
Can’t thank Sam enough
Can’t thank Sam enough, from her birth knowledge to the kindness deep in her heart. She treats every person she speaks to like family, and thousands would be lost without her. She’s a credit to the doula world.
Invaluable information
I’m part of Samantha’s Facebook group which she puts so much time and effort into. I’ve learnt so much about birthing and informed choices, to help me birth confidently on my terms. My NHS midwife is a great fan of hers too. I highly recommend!
Advice is second to none
Without the advice from Sam and her groups, I genuinely believe I wouldn't have even considered a homebirth for my youngest baby, let alone got through a BBA. Not only did it help me, but also my partner feel at ease, and be as "useful" as he could. Not only this, but her village really has helped me the most with my baby's health issues and getting through her diagnosis, introducing me to a wider range of people who have been through the same/similar, so I genuinely couldn't thank Samantha enough for creating such a beautiful group of people, and for all the advice she provides to all of us
Samantha helped me find the courage to…
Samantha helped me find the courage to "demand" what I wanted with evidence based information and did not coerce me at all, unlike many medical professionals I've met (can count on one hand how many actually were fab)
Highly recommend
I could not recommend more highly. I do not usually leave reviews. As a first time mum I am so grateful to have found Sam while pregnant. No matter where you intend to birth please engage with Sam’s services and or courses.

Thank you Samantha for the groups you run. The online communities provide a really safe space to ask questions without judgement and have helped me to find evidence based information helping me to make informed choices that are best for me.
Sam's groups are literally the only reason I'm even on social media to be honest.
Also I love Sam's shop with her affirmations and birth art which I've really enjoyed during my later stages of pregnancy.
Best support for birthing people
The support from Sam directly, and from the groups she manages, led me to have a perfect birth experience after two not so good experiences being treated as just a number in the public health system.
Sam works tirelessly to support women, she's amazing.
Honest unbiased information.
I absolutely love Samantha's social media. It's full of unbiased information and collaborations with other educators.
Sam gave me some great advice when I…
Sam gave me some great advice when I felt backed into a corner by the nhs, she explained the guidelines to me and has also provided me with so so much knowledge throughout her online groups. I also have a renewed confidence in myself and my gut to make the right decisions for me, even when that veers away from the norm. When I felt that midwives were catastrophising it was nice to have someone reassure me that they were so I wasn’t forced into something I would regret for the rest of my life! Thank you Sam, for all that you do and all that you give.
Above and beyond birth advocacy
Samantha was not my doula but I used the groups she runs on Facebook to inform myself about birth and homebirth in the run up to my now 4mo’s birth. The pages, groups & community that Samantha has created are like nothing else. They are unique, real & empowering. My NHS home birth midwives were big fans of hers and strongly recommended the groups as a resource for me.
Incredible and selfless support
With the state of the NHS currently, I found it impossible to hear anything other than policy from professionals during my pregnancy in order to make an informed choice. Knowing I have fast labours I wanted to ensure I was informed in case of a BBA and found a wealth of factual knowledge, studies and more in her course.
I had paid for another course previously that didn't have a fraction of the knowledge to prepare fully and certainly didn't advocate for anyone vulnerable. For the first time (3rd time lucky!) I felt heard and my birth experience was entirely informed.
Her work is invaluable, her support self less and I wouldn't recommend anyone else
