Unfortunately this appears to be a scam…

Unfortunately this appears to be a scam website. I ordered over a month ago and was told two weeks later that the items were out of stock and offered a gift card.

I have emailed them 12 times since and they have not provided a gift card or replied with a real person. They are auto chat bot replies. Comments are blocked on their instagram and there is no way of actually contacting them

There are several Reddit threads exposing these jewellery as cheap drop ships from AliBaba. And then now many people receiving no replies. I think it’s just a dodgy drop ship company selling cheap Chinese crap. And when there are issues in supply or cash flow they just ignore customers and hide the comments and bad reviews. Instagram account screams scam. 140k likes on a post but 4 comments… really?

Everything about this brand appears to be fraudulent.

Refund already takes over a month!!

Do not order here if you ever want a refund for your returns. I made a partial return which arrived at their depot on December 9th. A return label costs 8(!) Euros and I still have not received my money back. They barely respond via email. 0/10 recommend

I am very unhappy with Cainte

I am very unhappy with Cainte. The product quality is terrible – badly made, cheap materials, and clearly no proper quality control. For the price, this is completely unacceptable.

What makes it even worse is the customer support. I contacted them five times by email and never received a single response. No help, no explanation, nothing. This shows a total lack of professionalism and respect for customers.

I strongly regret buying from Cainte and would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone. Save your money and avoid this brand.

Pathetic. I never received my refund after paying for a return label !

Pathetic.
I received my order on December 22, 2025, and requested a refund the very next day by email, following the stated procedure.

I had to send several follow-up emails before finally receiving a response.

I was then told that I had to pay €8 for a return label, which I did.
However, I never received the return label.

I have exchanged around twenty emails, all with an automated system, without ever receiving a proper response.

To this day, I have not been refunded for my €58.50 order, and I have lost an additional €8 for a return label that was never provided.
This is completely unacceptable.

I won’t even comment on the quality of the jewelry — it’s a joke.

Pitoyable.
J’ai reçu ma commande le 22 décembre 2025 et j’ai demandé un remboursement dès le lendemain par email, en suivant la procédure indiquée.

J’ai dû relancer plusieurs fois avant d’obtenir une réponse.
On m’a finalement expliqué que je devais payer un bon de retour de 8 €, ce que j’ai fait.

Depuis, je n’ai jamais reçu le bon de retour.
J’ai échangé une vingtaine d’emails, uniquement avec un robot, sans jamais obtenir de réponse concrète.

À ce jour, je n’ai toujours pas été remboursé pour ma commande de 58,50 €, et j’ai perdu 8 € supplémentaires pour un bon de retour inexistant.
C’est totalement inadmissible.

Je ne parlerai même pas de la qualité du bijou : une véritable plaisanterie.

AVOID SCAMMERS!

AVOID SCAMMERS!
Ordered a watch in december and it arrived ok. i wasnt convinced by the qaulity so requested to return for a refund.
They accepted the request but asked me to pa £8 for a return label and sent me a payment link.
I paid it and informed them on 22/12 and since then have heard nothing back and no return label.
Have tried emailing, calling, social media DM and no replies.
Avoid this company as they have SCAMMED me for a cheap watch and a further £8 for a label that never comes!

In reply to Cainte's answer: Total rubbish! you replied within 24hrs every time until now. and have now dissapeared and wont send me the label. I have reported you to Klarna and Action Fraud. I have also do a chargeback from my bank so thanks for the free watch.

Awful customer service

Poor quality & return with no refunds

Ordered a ring on 16 November. The item was delivered defective/poor quality, with uneven edges, and so I initiated return immediately.
The return process is unnecessarily obstructive: you must request by email and pay separately for a return label - a lot of back and forth, at customer service’s team discretion. Then they also delay the return by asking for a reason (for more back and forth), despite the EU right of withdrawal allowing returns without explanation.
Cainte received the returned item on 8 December. Under EU consumer law, refunds must be issued within 14 calendar days after receipt of the return. The legal deadline (22 December) has long passed.
Despite multiple follow-ups, no refund has been issued and only generic responses citing “high volumes” were provided. The delay now goes beyond legal terms and reasonable excuses (if any).
In short, poor quality product, obstructive return process, and refund unlawfully withheld. Still waiting for my money.

Pretty jewellery but beware of slow refund process

Refunds took nearly two months from the moment I requested one until the money was actually returned - and only after multiple follow-ups. I purchased the products after seeing their Instagram ads almost daily. If a company can scale its marketing this aggressively, it should also be able to handle returns more efficiently.

Ghosted on return?

I felt like the quality of the metal was not what I was expecting. Everything looked fine but I ended up deciding to return and getting a return label has been impossible. I paid for a return label almost 2 weeks ago and they still haven’t sent me one, even with follow up emails which they haven’t responded to.

Replacement confirmed, marked as delivered, never received – repeated follow-ups ignored

On December 2, CAINTÈ confirmed in writing that my replacement jewelry had been arranged and would be shipped the following weekday.

After receiving no tracking or further information for over two weeks, I followed up.
On December 20, I was sent a DHL tracking number showing the parcel as “delivered” on December 9.

I never received the item.

The DHL tracking provides:
• no recipient name
• no delivery address
• no signature or proof of delivery

I contacted CAINTÈ on December 23 asking who the parcel was delivered to and requesting proof of delivery.

I received no response.

I followed up again, clearly pointing out that without recipient details or proof, the shipment cannot be considered completed, and asked for either a new replacement or store credit under their lifetime warranty.

Again, no response.

As of January 3, after multiple emails and clear communication, the replacement has not arrived, no proof of delivery has been provided, and no resolution has been offered.

This is not a logistics issue anymore, but a complete customer support failure.
The case remains unresolved.

Refund not received

I purchased the Arde necklace and was very disappointed when it arrived. The product does not accurately reflect the photos shown on the website; the crystal’s shine in the images appears to be blurred or edited, which created unrealistic expectations of how the piece would look in person.

Customer service was slow but understanding and covered the return shipping. However, my return reached the warehouse on November 25th and I still haven’t received a refund. Despite allowing extra time due to the holiday period, this delay is unacceptable. Overall, a poor experience :(

Terrible Service - no phone number & 8 days to respond to emails

Ordered on 12/10 (order # 133653), shipped 12/15 via Fed Ex. Tracking stopped in CT Fed Ex hub on 12/22. It's 12/31 and nothing has arrived. Emailed Cainte on 12/27 to trace the shipment and got a reply saying they are busy and will take up to 8 business days to reply. No phone number available to call them, so pretty lousy service. It was a Christmas gift.

As a Follow Up.... once I did hear from them via email on 1/9/26, they sincerely apologized and shipped a replacement out quickly.

False advertising

I ordered a necklace as it was advertised it would arrive by the 22nd before Christmas but as soon as I ordered it, UPS said it would arrive by the 29th and today it’s the 22nd and it still says 29th…
I feel like I’d been tricked to order something with a lie.
