I passed my driving test first time today (with 3 minors) and I owe it all to my incredible instructor Rasul at the CDA!! 🥳🥳🥳

Rasul's ethos is key - he doesn't just want you to pass a test, he wants you to be a safe driver for life. For me, this perspective made all the difference. I wasn't just doing routines for the sake of it to 'look the part', I was doing them to have the best understanding of the hazards and road around me as possible. I now appreciate that this level of intuition and confidence takes time to develop. Rasul has really nurtured my journey through his exceptional teaching. He is beyond patient and crucially, he focusses on the learner actually learning from their mistakes rather than didacticism. I found myself getting easily flustered following mistakes, but he accepted that and adapted his style to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Then, at an appropriate time, we would pull over and have 5 minutes to decompress and reflect. Often this reflection would involve his iPad with use of: diagrams/cartoon simulations, reviewing dash cam footage, or even Google maps satellite view. This was essential for me to properly understand my mistakes and work towards ironing them out. Our mock tests were rigourous, albeit fair, which meant that I felt very prepared on the day.

Aside from driving, Rasul is an all-round great guy. Super easy to get along with and I have always looked forward to our lessons together. He was also very flexible around my difficult timetable and would prioritise my convenience.

I have the utmost respect for Rasul and I highly recommend him for anyone starting lessons. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

CDA helped me pass with only two minors on FIST ATTEMPT! I always felt like I was in good hands with Rasul from CDA. His instructions were clear and to the point. He was never late in picking me up for a lesson and made sure that he gave me the time I needed leading up to the test. This is really exceptional service.

Ozcan was a very helpful instructor! Both understanding and forgiving, yet capable of giving criticism and being strict when needed. I passed my driving test on my first go and I think very few people would have been able to help me do that, I 100% recommend!

I can only speak highly of my experience with CDA and with my driving instructor Rasul. He has been an amazing instructor, and his patience seems to know no bounds. His instructions and guidance during lessons left me feeling confident for my exam, and I passed first time all thanks to him!

When I made mistakes, Rasul was always very reasuring and made sure to talk through my mistakes with me, and was always happy to go over things which I did not understand multiple times.

He has ensured that not only did I pass the test, but that I feel confident as a driver afterwards.

Outside of lessons, Rasul is a very good communicator and kindly made time for extra lessons with me and has been very accomodating to my varied schedule.

Beyond being a driving instructor, Rasul is a kind person who I felt I could trust very easily, and never felt taken advantage of. For the price I paid, I felt every lesson was worth it, and Rasul has left me confident in my own driving abilities. If you want to learn how to drive, I cannot recommend Rasul enough.

Ozcan really helped me get up to speed for my test when I only had a couple of weeks left! (Passed first go) He is calm, friendly and explains things in a simple way which quickly built my confidence.

Before my test, he also suggested doing a 1h drive which was really helpful in going through any final mistakes I made and things to look out for. I would highly recommend taking lessons with Ozcan!

Ozcan was absolutely fantastic! While teaching me, he quickly identified my key areas of opportunity and gave me the exact guidance I needed to improve. In just two weeks, his expert instruction helped me successfully pass my practical driving test. Simply put, he is the absolute best!

I passed my driving test first time with just one minor, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Reza.

He is calm, patient, and explains things clearly. Rather than teaching you to memorise routes, he teaches you how to understand the road, make safe decisions, and drive confidently in different situations. His feedback was always constructive, and he knew exactly what I needed to improve before my test.

Cambridge has some challenging roads and roundabouts, but thanks to Reza’s guidance I felt well prepared on test day.

I highly recommend Cambridge Driving Academy and especially Reza to anyone learning to drive.

My instructor Safi was very helpful. He always help me to find my weaknesses in drving and trying me to rectify it and when I failed in first time, he gave me courage and confidence and it make me pass the second time

Marvellous experience! I had have driving instructors in the pass but Özcan was everything that I wanted in a driving instructor; Patient, Direct, corrects exactly what is needed, don't overload you with instructions, and have laser focus approach to what you need to correct. Everything in a very respectful way, with enough energy to make you understand but always respecting you and believing in your abilities and what you could improve. The amount of driving lessons were exactly the ones I needed and understanding my needs perfectly. I cannot be happier, I pass the test on the first try under his teachings. 100% recommend it!

Rasul was an excellent driving instructor. His lessons were always engaging, enjoyable, and well structured, helping me pass my driving test with only three driving faults. He was clear in his explanations, patient throughout, and always supportive when I needed extra help. Rasul was also very flexible and always did his best to fit lessons around my working hours, which I really appreciated. I passed my driving test on the first attempt, and a big part of that is thanks to my instructor, Özcan. He is extremely patient, understanding, and professional. Throughout the entire process, he gave me confidence and helped me improve my weaknesses effectively. Finding the right driving instructor for our autistic son was a priority, and we struck gold with Yama and CDA. His professionalism, combined with a genuine empathy for neurodivergent students, set him apart. Yama demonstrated an incredible ability to foster our son’s driving skills while simultaneously nurturing his confidence and independence. He was adept at identifying and addressing specific challenges, always finding creative and effective teaching methods. The progress our son made under Yama’s tutelage was phenomenal, culminating in him successfully obtaining his license after his first test. We are immensely grateful to Yama for his dedication and for providing our son with the invaluable gift of independent mobility. The service provided is excellent! All instructors I had the pleasure of driving with were great at guiding me and prepping me for my test. They were easy to communicate with and made the lessons easy to do and learn from. 10/10 would recommend anyone in the Cambridge area to give them a shot
