Canada Transfer has come through once again. Excellent prompt service with Diego our driver who insisted his English was mediocre when in fact it was great!!! What a friendly guy!!! Very impressed as usual...we always use Canada Transfer and are never disappointed. Thanks Canada Transfer See You Next Year!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. The correct name is Canada No Transfers. Heres what happened. We had booked a private shuttle to our resort. We received numerous emails indicating they were tracking our flight and would be there to receive us.
We land in Cancun. We walk up to the Canada Transfers staff (no organization - 5 guys walking around with ipads and clip boards). I give them our reservation number and am told:
"I'm sorry sir. There are no vans here. It will be about a 1-2 hr. wait for a van. You can choose to wait here, take a taxi or speak with your airline about getting a transfer to your hotel."
I said - "Why don't you have ANY vans?" There are 8 other people standing around in our same situation. I was told all the vans were somewhere else and also there was an accident and also traffic was bad.
Its about midnight after traveling all day from Saskatoon Canada. My 3 kids are with me and they are fed up. We wait around for 20 minutes. I try to negotiate with a cab driver - but the price is twice what we had ALREADY paid to Canada Transfers. Also the person we had been emailing when our flight was delayed - who said they had been tracking our flight - stopped responding to our emails.
So then we go to the westjet service. There are about 150 passengers waiting around for rides. Some had been waiting 4 hours. Others show up and get a ride right away. We wait 2 hours and finally arrive at our resort at 2:30 AM.
Also - NO VANS show up for Canada Transfers the whole 3-4 hours we are waiting!!!!!
What a crappy way to start our holiday.
This morning I tried calling Canadian Transfers - would be on hold for 20 minutes, then a voice would come on saying all lines are busy and hang up - I tried the canadian, american and mexican phone numbers with no success.
How does a company stay in business that does not do what they advertise that they do?
