Technical issues lead to me being…
Technical issues lead to me being charged for a month subscription I did not use and had already canceled. I requested a refund the same morning I was charged but was declined. Not the customer service experience I expected.

All the profiles are written by AI
Almost all the nanny profiles are written by AI and all sound exactly the same! It makes it impossible to get a sense of what a nanny is like without talking to them. We got a lot of messages and nearly everyone uses the automatic message that expresses interest in the job. It was very difficult to know who was worth setting up a call with. The site also blocks sharing contact information which makes it difficult to connect outside of the site.

Satisfied Customer
I was able to find a qualified & experienced nanny! I appreciated the assistance in viewing profiles, reading reviews of candidates, & being able to converse with them prior to meeting in person. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people on this site that either don't show up for interviews or aren't really looking for a full-time, long-term job.

Great way to find a great nanny!
Im giving it 5 stars because we found 2 great nannies using this platform. I don’t quite understand why each time I would message 10+ nannies and not get any messages back. I’m not sure if people keep their profiles up when they’re not looking for work, so that process is a little frustrating. But I also got messages and that’s how I found both times.

I forgot to cancel my subscription…
I forgot to cancel my subscription after finding a nanny and it autorenewed. I reached out one day later thinking, like every other company this has happened with, they'd say, "Oh sure, I can see that you haven't logged in in weeks and didn't actually mean to let your subscription renew. Here's a refund." but instead they hit me with a defensive spiel about how "I agreed to these terms when I signed up" and how they're not required to give me a refund.
Guys, I know you're not required to. I was just asking because, human to human, it seems like a no-brainer.
But this is apparently that special kind of company that would rather nuke their brand and reputation for a couple extra bucks than treat people like people.
Won't be recommending this site to anyone.

This is the second time I have used the Canadian Nanny site and would recommend this to anyone looking for a secure ,informative and well organized site.

Great but inflexible
Like: I found a nanny.
Dislike: very inflexible policies around cancellation. I canceled just a couple hours late and was charged an entire extra month and they wouldn’t reverse it.

Useless platform
In this platform there are many scammers with different names and different stories. Website dont care about them and never block them they are good for website they pay premium which is good for website and never block them so 3-4 years i am in this platform I see i messaged about thousands of families even one reply back to me never ever . Good but not great
Good but not great. We ultimately found a nanny out of it, but navigating the candidates wasn't easy. I think the AI tool that's used to auto-draft responses was getting in the way more than helping.
