Thank you for your review. The majority of our Guests appreciate the online explanations as it enables them to get on the road quickly. We do offer a personal demonstration for a minimal cost should Guests not be comfortable with these online demonstrations. The air conditioner, microwave and electrical outlets can only be used when hooked up to 110V power or by using the generator. All units except our TCA have a generator. It was a pleasure having you as our Guests.
Poor performance in Whitehorse
The camper truck was not cleaned properly. We then cleaned the windows ourselves. The inside table was unusable because it moved in all directions. First the design was justified conditionally. After we wanted to see a table in another camper, the table was replaced. Overall, the station in Whitehorse provided poor care. During the trip we had to refill DEF/Adblue (after consulting with Canadream), which could certainly have been avoided.

Hi Stephanie. The pre-delivery inspection was passed as clean however we completely appreciate that our Guests have different opinions as to level of cleanliness and we are sorry that you found it necessary to clean the windows again. The table in our 2023 TCA was designed to move in different directions to enable Guests to pull it closer to them whilst sitting on the dinette. This style of table was replaced in our 2024 and 2025 models to be a fixed style. As you had a 2023 unit, the table moved as you described and we were happy to replace it at your request with a table from a 2024 unit. When you picked up the truck, we estimated that the DEF fluid would need to be replaced in another 2000km. For this reason, we would not have replaced it at that time. If the DEF warning light comes on while a Guest is driving the vehicle, the Guest should buy some DEF and top it up and keep the receipt for reimbursement (similar to an oil top up during the rental). DEF is available at most gas stations. We thank you for your review.

The camper was great
The camper was great, we did 5k and never had a problem, even tough some of the roads were very rough, taking it slow when necessary, and driving to conditions, camper was very comfortable,
Our only problem is the location of the depot to Whitehorse and they do not have the courtesy bus running, so we had to use taxi. Other than that all was good. Recommend Canadream and would definitely use again in Canada.

Check that the key for the spare tire matches the lock on your camper
Better dish/glass ware. During travel they broke and we had to deal with glass and dish shards
Coffee pot only good when we were hooked up to power☹️

Improvements
Although the staff was very, very helpful and curtious...they should know and experience the area that is around them and have information and knowledge to pass on to potential travellers.
The kitchen package needs to include a roasting pot or cookie sheet for the oven; there is nothing to cook with in the oven. Also, pots and pans should be upgraded to T-Fal or anything easier to clean then stainless steel. Very hard to cook with, burns everything on the pan instead of cooking.
Provide a proper dish soap; the dish soap has no suds and doesn't get rid of the grease of the dishes.
Other then those items, very clean and ample amount of towels, cutlery and dishes. Thank you

fresh/ grey/ black water display
The fresh/ grey/ black water display in the RV did not work at all. One had to guess when it needs fill up/ dumping. Other than that everything fine and smooth

Thank you for your review. Both the demonstration video and the Guest Guide explain that the sensors are often not accurate and we are sorry you were affected by this. This is an industry wide issue where debris gets stuck (toilet paper etc) on the sensor and causes the readings to be inaccurate. We appreciate this can be frustrating for Guests but no solution has yet been found for the issue. We are happy you enjoyed your trip and hope we can welcome you back on a future occasion. Expensive, but great RV and Service
We rent a Maxi Truck Camper. The price was high, but we got a completly new Camper. Everything was in good shape.
Two dishes were broken, but as a courtesy nothing was kept from the deposit...very fair!
The pick-up and return was easy and the staff was very friendly.
I recommend the platinum package. It's a great breakdown service (we had a flat tire).

First time renters
This was the first time we experienced ‘truck camper’ camping. It did not disappoint. We loved it. The vehicle and camper were clean and in great shape. We had everything we needed for life on the road.
There were two issues but CanaDream helped resolve them. They were 2 hours late at pickup time. To compensate they let us return the camper a couple of hours later. The second issue was with the coffee maker. It didn’t function. When we called to report we were told we could buy one and be reimbursed.
We would rent again.

Loved it!
Everything was really good. Everything on the truck worked great and could easily carry the weight of the camper and responded well to the roads in Alaska (of course the highways that had numbers :). The camper was slick and had everything we needed which allowed us to freely reroute our trip when the area we were heading for had rain for 10 days. The areas of question… why only one set of keys and why not a jake to change the tire. Even driving slowly made it difficult to not worry about a flat tire on the permafrost and construction highways. We were fine but maybe something to think more about.

The manufacturer provides us with two sets of keys but we need to keep one set in case the set given to the Guest are lost ... this does happen and in this case, we are then able to get an additional set cut for the Guest. We do not encourage Guests to change their own tires for liability reasons. The trucks and RV are very heavy and most of our Guests don't have enough experience to do this themselves. We do however appreciate your comments and are happy you enjoyed your CanaDream experience. It was a pleasure having you as our Guests.
