No refund issued!

Placed an order for some outdoor tables which turned out not to be in stock.
Although alternatives were offered none were suitable and I cancelled the order and requested a refund.
This was a month ago and no refund has been issued and Canmac have not responded to my last email.
Now having to go through my credit card company to try and gain my money back.
Not impressed, save yourself the hassle and don’t use this company.

They are too expensive and not very…

They are too expensive and not very helpful when it comes to refunds. They will straight away reject your refund and will never refund you. So eventually had to buy the stuff and now it is off no use. You will get much better prices in Leicester or Birmingham and with good customer support.

Dreadful, hubby bought a dishwasher on ebay stating it was refurbished. It was filthy, defective parts and parts cut down to fit from a different machine. Customer service was nonsense, replying with information not relevant to enquiry, returned machine but then had to raise a dispute with eBay to get the refund. Avoid at all costs!

Their website shows inaccurate stock availability dates. The item web-page shows 2-5 days delivery, but I found after calling them that it is out of stock and could take 6 weeks! I wouldn't recommend any buyer to place online orders with them before getting a confirmation by phone or email. However, they do not respond to emails and their staff are not professional. After calling them, the manager tried to provide alternative; it was not accepted, because the lack of trust. I asked for a refund, but they did not process it until I threaten them with legal action. They need better management and continuously updated website.

Placed and paid for an order which was catering equipment

Placed and paid for an order which was never delivered, sent me fake tracking details which said delivery was attempted and failed, when I spoke to courier they never tried to deliver, then told it was out of stock. Still waiting for a refund and now claiming from my credit card. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they are dishonest and fraudulent.

Misleading Product Images – Received Used and Damaged Item

I ordered a "Turkish Cay Tea Maker Boiler Semaver" (160 glass capacity) from Canmac (Order #C8328), but what I received was not as advertised. The product image clearly showed water and tea level indicators, which were missing on the item delivered.

Worse, the item seemed used or previously tested — it had water stains inside, and the rubber seal on the heating base was torn and partially missing. This is unacceptable for a supposedly new product.

To make matters worse, none of the contact phone numbers listed on their website work, and I received no response to my complaint email.

If the issue isn’t resolved soon, I will initiate a chargeback through my bank, since the payment was made by card. Very disappointed with this experience and lack of support. I do not recommend this seller.

Did not refund order they couldn’t fulfill

Ordered an item on 2nd July, told later that day it was not in stock so cancelled the order and replaced it somewhere else. Took until 22nd of July for them to send an email saying the refund had been processed and may still take ten days to appear in my bank. This was after multiple emails and phone calls and a report to my bank. Each time they said they had already processed the refund and should be with me shortly. Probably
Hoping people will get fed up or eventually forget they are still owed money. Disgraceful behaviour and I still haven’t got my money back.

Faulty Adexa wine fridge…

We purchased an Adexa wine fridge and when it was delivered it did not cool. We contacted Canmac and it took 3 months for them to finally agree to send an engineer to fix it. Fast forward 6 months and it is not cooling again. Canmac have told us that the warranty is parts only and we would need to pay for an engineer. We have argued that this should not be our cost for the last 3 months and they ignore all emails and calls and essentially have now waited until our parts warranty has run out and washed there hands of the problem. These guys are beyond useless, selling faulty units and then ignoring when we have asked for it to be fixed. Avoid avoid avoid

Substandard product and substandard customer service!! AVOID!!

After only 8 months my under counter bar fridge stopped working. After emailing canmac I was informed I had to arrange and pay for my own engineer to to diagnose the issue then they would send out required replacement parts. I would then have to arrange and pay for the engineer to fix the fridge.
I emailed to say this was not satisfactory as an 8 month old fridge shouldn’t be breaking and I was just ignored. Needless to say I will never buy from canmac again and would advise anyone reading this to think twice too.
Substandard product and substandard customer service!! AVOID!!

Poor after sales service

Poor after sales service. Don’t expect any assistance with purchasing spare parts for Canmac products, although most of the commercial equipment is generic and just rebranded with a Canmac sticker they are unable/unwilling to provide any assistance with purchasing spare parts for their very expensive equipment.
Read the other reviews, reconsider using them, there are far better suppliers.

***AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE***Only gave 1 as not possible to leave -10, appalling service once you’ve paid, ordered a bar fridge, received a grotty 2nd hand one which cooled to no less than 10 degrees, 7 weeks to replace it for another used item with a handle crudely screwed to the door & oversprayed with tinned spray paint, complained & told it was new & this is how they manufacture them, GARBAGE, it cost £450 & they charged £175 to pick it up & send to some other customer, took them weeks to refund after legal action, 3 months in total, I don’t want to print any bad language as they can then remove, shower of *****, if they were closer ide have hired a van & dumped it in the top of the owners car, check companies house (string of appointed & resigned directors), A LESSON LEARNED- PAY CHEAP-PAY TWICE, AVOID! Avoid this company!

Avoid this company!! Bought bread slicer from them on Monday with delivery between 2 to 4 working days. after 3 working days called them to check when it would be delivered to us, been told that unfortunately this product is out of stock(which still was "in stock" on their website). Asked for refund, now after another day been told they are making refunds once a week, every Friday and will receive my money in between 3 to 5 working days, what means they will hold my money for product which shouldn't be sold for 2 weeks.

The company is a scam! Bought a waffle maker from them and it broke after first use. I have been trying to contact them and had no response. £250 down the drain, surely it’s illegal to provide something not fit for purpose.

The B stands for Brutalised.

Passing absolutely battered products off as “B Grade”. Missing fixings, fridge falling apart, sledgehammer size dents in the top, gouges out of the front, feet missing, rivnut fittings missing so you can’t replace the feet, tek screws rammed in to try and bodge. Shocking customer service, their answer to everything is “You can see in the description that the B-grade items might come with some dents and damage”. This is more like Z-Grade. Don’t bother.

Lots of bad reviews but most satisfied customers don’t leave reviews . They fixed my fryer and it’s now working . Didn’t all go smooth and the gas pipe and fittings were lost during the repair . All the missing parts were supplied brand new from stock . Treated me well in the showroom / office and I was made to feel very welcome. Will use again defective!

Awful company - Avoid

Awful company - avoid buying from them. Ordered a fridge with 3-5 day delivery time. The fridge was eventually delivered. But they delivered the wrong colour and the packaging was in very poor shape. Reported this within 5 minutes of the delivery once I had checked and seen the colour. They couldn’t have been slower to reply or less helpful in trying to arrange a collection and delivery of the correct product. It took over a week and a half for them to collect it and I still got no further to getting the correct ones delivery arranged. In the end I requested a refund. It took multiple messages and two weeks to eventually get it. Poor service and tone of not caring at all.
