This firm sold me refurbished oven with…

This firm sold me refurbished oven with 6 months warranty. 5 days before the end of warranty a big part (fan blower) packed up. Canmac didn't honour the warranty and made me pay £1000 for parts & labour. After 10 months suddenly all the fans stopped working on it. They said it would cost £250 calling out charge, £120 each for each of the 2 fans and if blower fans gone then £1000 for each of the 2 blower fans plus £60 each hour any engineer works on it. £4500 worth of pizza oven when bought plus already spent £1500 on it. So now another cost of £2620 if it takes 3 hours to repair. The people working have no manners are rude, scammers. AVOID IT PLS

I bought new pizza pans and lids but…

I bought new pizza pans and lids but when I received them I did not like the way they were presented. Dirty had scratches and dents and they said it was brand new. I emailed them and they said just wash them and they will be fine but they are damaged. Terrible customer service and when I asked for return address they completed ignored me.

Absolutely horrified at this companies…

Absolutely horrified at this companies poor customer service. Purchased an item from them of significant value which arrived faulty. Trying to get any refund from them is impossible and their customer service is next to non existent. They are more interested in the loss they will get as a result of receiving back a faulty item over ensuring they fix a problem for their customer

Damaged goods with poor service

We have brought 2 provers and both have arrived damaged. The terms of service say you need to inspect for damage before you accept them, but the drivers don't allow you to unpack then to inspect them. This means that when you contact them to say the goods are damaged, they refuse to replace or return them without charging you significant fees.

While these products are extremely cheap, it appears that this company is deliberately selling damaged goods, then avoiding responsibility.

Ice Machine

DON'T BE SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I do not recommend this company or the people working there.
I purchased an ice machine that was delivered damaged from new. The next day I informed the company that the equipment was not working. I found out that I was charged a 25% fee to return the damaged machine. They didn't want to do it at all. They postponed everything and I wasted several weeks waiting for my money back. I had to complain and write every few days for a refund. It was very embarrassing. I recommend checking anything you want to buy from this company because they will not want to refund your money. Pathetic company and very unpleasant office, hanging around when you call and ask for a refund.

Do not buy from this company

I bought an industrial food processor which broke after the second use. Bought on 4/9/23. The internal section of the blade wore out and it was just spinning and not cutting. I contacted the company and i was told i needed to get an engineers report and i would have to pay £80 for a new part. Id had the food processor for approximately22 days at this stage.
I returned the food processor directly to the company 30 days after i bought it and asked for a refund. I spoke to a very pleasant lady but was stood there whilst a man spoke in a foreign language (im assuming the owner of the company)and then he proceeded to tell me ' she will tell you what I've just said'. Very rude.
My request for a refund was dismissed. I was told that a replacement part would be sourced from another company. They made contact with me 2 days after i dropped it off and said the part had been fixed. So i collected the item (20 miles each way). I then proceeded to put meat in the processor and it broke again after one use. The item cost around £443.27 and its not working. I have ccontacted the company again by email which has been completely ignored.
i am now following up with another contact letter and i will take the company to a small claims court if i do not get a satisfactory response. I want a refund.
Do not buy from these people. horrendous customer service and very bad product

Ordered Kebab Skewers

Ordered Kebab Skewers. They are perfect for my BBQ. Suggestion I would make to you guys is to sell them with handles as I bought chisel handles for mine and they are now perfect for my BBQ.

Will probably get more soon off you guys.

SCAMMERS - AVOID AVOID AVOID

The people involved at Canmac should be wearing masks - this is daylight robbery. They are scamming people while masquerading as a catering business.

- Purchased a Taylor C606 combination ice cream / milkshake machine for £5,100
- Advised that the unit was fully tested and ice cream and milkshakes were dispensing in great working order
- Item was shipped to me
- We tested the item and milkshake mix was pouring out of the freezer door - how could this be, its all in working order right?

Eh...no it was not in working order - there were close to no O-Rings and the ones which were there are so worn that they might as well have not been there...the main gasket sealing the freezer door was missing and therefore there is a 0% chance that this machine was tested as milkshake mix would have come out the door for them also.

The pumps (the most important parts) are not from the C606 machine and are cheap knock offs of the official pumps which do not work - the pump doesn't work, how can it have been tested? They likely stripped and sold the official pumps as they retail for a lot of money second hand.

The heat cycle also doesn't work and the freezer does not work correctly and the whole unit makes a loud buzzing noise.

Spent more money on other parts and a service engineer just in case we were overlooking some things...and guess what - the machine is a dud, it will never work.

They deny any responsibility - I have already contacted them and confirmed that this will not be tolerated and that I am now seeking legal channels.

Hopefully others see these reviews before these scammers get a hold of their cash!

once they have your money they will not deal with any issues under the warranty/guarantee.

Unbelievably poor service.
Purchased a small piece of equipment that went wrong a few weeks later. Tried getting it replace, they was not interested, ignored my emails.
Did nothing to help whatsoever.
Bad bad service and even worse products, almost a scam company.

RUBBISH COMPANY DONT USE

So many 1-star reviews, is not a surprise. Having made the mistake of purchasing an ADEXA product from Canmac, the equipment stopped working after 6-month, Canmac totally unhelpful when attempting to use their 1-year warranty, ADEXA also, didn't help. Asked an independent engineer to look at the 4xFryer, it was beyond economical repair. So disposed of the equipment as it was unrepairable and had to purchase replacement fryer. It isn't just the money/cost, it the severe lack of customer service and support from both of these companies, absolutely disgusting, don't touch either with a barge poll.

Absolutely disgraceful service

Absolutely disgraceful service.

I order an item on 4th November 2021. I haven’t received my item after 2 weeks so called to enquiry, I was told it wasn’t currently in stock and due to come the following week and would be dispatched then. I called the following week, stock still not received, and again the week after that… after being fobbed off for almost a month I requested a refund as they had no idea when my item would arrive, they agreed.
To this add I haven’t received my refund nor my product! I have tried contacting them multiple times without success, they ignore my emails and put the phone down on me when I ask about the refund.
Appalling service. DO NOT USE.

Poor Customer Service and Communication

I placed an order almost a month ago. First of all they sent me the wrong item, so sent me a QR code to send it on to the correct person while they sent my item on.

After trying multiple Hermes stores (who have also in my experience not provided a good service), and wasting my afternoon, the code did not work. They sent a new one which luckily did work so I sent the incorrect item on to the correct customer.

In the meantime, I am still trying to get hold of my item, having recieved no communication on its whereabouts, whether a replacement has been sent, or whether I am being given a refund. After almost a month, I still have not had any response and am completed unaware of what is happening with my order. Nobody on their team has the courtesy to update me. Luckily my item is only small and not exactly urgent, but regardless, not the service that should be provided to customers.

Do yourself a favour, and whatever you're ordering, find another vendor!

Arful company they advertise quality products at competitive prices ordered a potato rumbler the worst quality I've ever seen they refused 2 have it back as Id opened it I live in Newcastle upon Tyne so outraged at there arful staff on phone I hired a van and drove it back after a heated conversation in Lutterworth they gave me a refund minus 25 per cent please do not buy from this company or alexda as there basically the same total false advertising horrible people

Disgraceful

Had the misadventure to order a wine fridge cooler and when it arrived, it was damaged. Sent the pictures right away and they suggested to replace it with another one but with the conditions that I had to pay for the delivery. Considering that I had already paid £62 for first one already, it was a real kick in the teeth. The second one arrives and it's damaged as well! Sent pictures to their head office but hey never bothered getting back to me. I manage a brand new restaurant and I could have ordered more equipment from this company but why would I? A total farce. Generally I am not a person who complains but this total lack of customer service is simply appalling.
Never experienced anything like this, ever in my life.

Poor stock control

Poor stock control. Take orders via their website for out of stock items.

Place two separate orders for a catering sink.

The first was cancelled & refunded after 8 working days with no explanation or communication.

The second I was eventually contacted after 7 working days to be told they did not have stock and to offer alternatives that did not meet my requirements, so had to cancel the order.

Wasted best part of 3 weeks, very disappointing service.
