I ordered goods in August 2025. The goods have not been received and the shop has not yet refunded the money. The customer agents I have spoken to have completely lost track and are always referring to communicating with the warehouse.
I ordered from Caravane expecting quality that matched the website images, but the colours were entirely different in person. When I tried to return the item, I was disappointed to find that Caravane doesn’t cover return shipping. I ended up paying over 30 euros just to send it back. Customer service wasn’t helpful either, leaving me with little support through the process. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience, and I’d hesitate to recommend them based on the misleading product presentation and lack of customer care.
Ordered a light shade for delivery to the UK. The lightshade was metal and an odd shape so not easy to send by post. Postage cost me only €14 including all taxes and fees which I thought was excellent value. It was really easy to place order and the shade arrived very well packaged and in good time. Product was excellent. I would order from here again.
I bought two brass flower wall lights. When they arrived they were scratched and dirty and looked like they had been left on the floor and walked over. I mailed the company who said that they are imperfect because they're handmade. I reiterated that this was very much not artisanal uniqueness, but actual damage. The company said I could post them back - to France - at my own cost and they would reimburse me on receipt if I provided my bank details. I argued that this was unreasonable, and that I did not want to give them my bank details, and they replied sending me a waybill for DHL. So, the return did not after all cost me, and they did refund me quite quickly after the items arrived back with them. However the whole process was time consuming and disappointing, and I would not buy from them again.
