Awful customer service and scammers…

Awful customer service and scammers avoid! I ordered 20 postal boxes 5 weeks ago and keep being told to wait for a carrier notification. Rung them to speak to someone and the lady was very rude asking me to send copies of emails to prove I wasn't lying. Had to dispute with credit card as they are dodging refund requests.

If I could have carried on with this review without having to select a star I would have done.

Ordered some boxes for an exhibition that was in 4 weeks from ordering. Delivery flashed up when on their website as 3-5 working days so plenty of time I thought! Chased after 9 day as no delivery, customer services were rude, they said they couldn’t chase the courier but then in my second call to them said they couldn’t chase be she didn’t know what courier they use!! Lots of phone calls (no advertised number on website so goggled it!) and lots of times and dates given for when they would be deliver in 2-3 days from my calls. Surprise surprise the didn’t arrive and I missed getting sorted for the exhibition I was showing at. I go an email address from customer services (no they can’t pass you through to that team) to ask for a refund. I emailed 5 or 6 times during a two week period asking for a refund with no repose- then started to cc Customer services in, still nothing. I have just received a refund but not sure if that’s via them or because I started the charge back process through my bank.

NO GOOD PRICE IS WORTH THIS HASSLE- AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

THEY OFFER NO ASSISTANCE DESPITE THE PROBLEM OF DELIVERY BEING THEIR FAULT - THEY CHARGE HIGH DELIVERY COSTS BUT ONCE THE ORDER IS PAID FOR TAKE NO RESPONSIBIITY AND WILL NOT ASSIST

No order and no refund

Order never arrived and they are refusing to issue a refund. Order was placed 30/10 and as of 08/12 there is still no sign of the delivery and the company refuse to cancel the order and issue a refund.
Avoid at all costs, not a reputable company.

Paid and Didnt Get My Order

Placed an order on 27th Nov 2025, they took my money and thats it! Fake consignment and no delivery. Customer Service leaves alot to be desired, rude woman who told me that the couriers had my order and would be delivering the next day, that didnt happen, said the same the following day, guess what?? that didnt happen, then I got the its a busy time of year story. By this time she was fed up with me enquiring if I had an actual order and where was it that in the end she ordered me to just wait. Be careful, dont use their refund route or try to cancel an order through them, you have to pay for that privilege! Go straight through your bank and ask to action a charge back. I did. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards

1 star is generous

If only you could rate 0 stars because 1 seems incredibly generous. Ordered 4 boxes that never arrived despite ongoing assurances that they would. Eventually cancelled the order after a month of non-delivery and trying to get a refund is almost impossible. The battle is still ongoing. Avoid at all costs.

If poor service was a skill, they'd be champions

That is a lesson learned to read reviews before purchase. What an awful company. They didn't bother to process the order at all until I chased it on the Friday after ordering on Monday. I immediately received a courier message, so they clearly just booked a courier quick without the goods even being packed or sorted. Nothing was collected until another five days later. Their website is so bad, depending on which browser you look at it in most of the terms and conditions are completely invisible. Refund and cancellation policy info is deliberately dotted around all over the place on different pages. They want a £10 fee for you to return an item, even when you have tried to cancel it long before it ever caught sight of a courier! Then, the want you to also pay for the return and some other random £20 fee for nothing on top of that. The emails are written by someone called 'Emma' who couldn't be bothered to include her name on any of them until I asked whom I was communicating with. There really needs to be a zero stars option – total joke.

Awful company.

I ordered a cardboard over 3 weeks ago and I have heard nothing. I have contacted customer service and every time they have said I should receive information shortly, and I've had absolutely no update, since my order on the 14th November. Would not use again. Awful service. My order number is #115687.

Not Delivered & No Refund! Scam!

I ordered from cardboardboxes.co.uk and never received my goods. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, I received no replies and no assistance. They have not provided a refund, so I had to escalate the case to PayPal. This has been a very disappointing experience, and I would advise others to be cautious when ordering from this company.

I was about to order some cardboard…

I was about to order some cardboard sheets do to some crafts with my son. Only a £20 order or so, but I try to take the 30 seconds to do a brief due diligence on websites I've never used before. I found the owner on companies house. Wow, it's amazingly bad. Loads of dissolved companies, some in liquidation, this one clearly heading the same way. I honestly don't understand how people like this get away with it for so long. Lastly, he shows the 'Made in Britain' logo on the website. You have to pay for that licence, what are the odds on him having actually paid it.?

A horrible company to do business with

This company would rather argue than resolve issues. They deliberately made my life difficult to try to avoid accountability for a delivery issue (my contract is with them, not the courier!). Fortunately I paid by PayPal and was able to get my money back. I would never, however desperate, use this company again. I wish I'd seen the reviews before I did!

Terrible service

Terrible service ! I ordered and paid online for 60No. Tuff wall Boxes on 20th June. They delivered 27 on the 23rd June. I kept contacting them to get the rest delivered but after many assurances none arrived. I requested a refund several times and finally gave notice that I would lodge an application with the small claims. Eventually on the 12th November I received a pro rata refund for the missing 33 boxes.

The worst service I have had

Terrible customer service. They sent me the wrong boxes which were totally unusable and despite me providing photo evidence that the product is incorrect they reject the claim and direct me to there standard returns policy that require I l pay for the return.

I have to put 1 star as I can’t put…

I have to put 1 star as I can’t put none.
This is my second order from Cardboard boxes.
The first was okay if not a little delayed.

The second order well massively delayed.
I ordered 3,000 special size boxes.
This is a narrow box 410mm x90 mm x25mm.
Some of the boxes have delaminated . Others have the corrugation the wrong way. Giving no strength to the box at all.
I contacted them regarding this and apparently it’s my fault.
I’m not a box expert but the corrugation should go lengthways to give strength.
Shocking customer service won’t use them again I recommend never to use these.

Great price and great product

I ordered 500 custom size boxes at less than half the cost of my existing supplier and was given a 4 week delivery time. When they hadn't arrived within a few days of that, I read the reviews and got very worried and badgered them a great deal. In fact they arrived 3 weeks later and were perfect. I assume they get them ordered from China, and I'm fine with that given the cost difference. I prefer local suppliers for most things, but carboard boxes get expensive, when people think they are cheap, and it's great to save such a lot of money on them. So while their coms around the delivery time wasn't great, I'd still give them 5 stars for the product and service.

“A Masterclass in How Not to Run a Business”

Ordered on 28th September — and what a ride it’s been. Fobbed off, spoken to like a nuisance, and apparently I’m one of the 800+ “liars” who’ve all somehow made up the same story.

After six glorious weeks of waiting, my order finally arrived… well, half of it did. Contacted PayPal, opened a case, spoke to them directly — and guess what? The company wants everything back before they’ll issue a refund. Oh, and I get to pay the return postage for their mistake. What a treat!

Honestly, a chocolate teapot could run this business better. Sack the staff, reboot the system, and maybe hire someone who’s heard of customer service. Until then, avoid like the plague. Tip of the day dont bother dealing with them go directly to your payment source for a refund they are a scam company .
