I have been a customer of Carhireexcess.ie for many years for the purpose of renting cars while travelling in other Countries, mainly in Spain, the reason is mainly to avoid excessive add-on fees to cover for excess damages to a rental vehicle including damage that may be caused by another source while parked. Earlier this year we were recently involved in an car accident which resulted in considerable damage to the rental vehicle, (no personal injuries thankfully) so my point is because we had car hire excess cover, the issue of financial loss for car repair was not an issue, our excess amount which was €1000 plus towing costs was refunded very quickly. so yes, we very strongly recommend carhireexcess.ie. it is a Peace of Mind plus car hire is very affordable by using this method of excess insurance cover.
