We hired a 4x4 with rooftop tent for 5 weeks from Value and experienced no issues at all. This was our third time hiring from them and the best vehicle so far. Would use again.

Really professional rental company. Every thing was smoothy from our landing at the airport to the pickup of the car, the check-out and the return to airport.
Cars from Value Car Rental are not the newest but they are nice and we feel confortable and in security. No mechanical problem in 14 days despite our car was arround 150 000km. No tires problems aswell.

Only 4 star because there was a leak in our water tank so it was unusable despite an attemps to fix it before our departure.

The car was good, especially if you see the age. Only 4 stars, because the equipment is only packed in the car somehow (table, chairs). The equipment otherwise was complete (no additional purchase necessary, also a corkscrew was included) and partly new. Everything was clean and well maintained (I.e. tent).

I have been using Value for many years, with groups of 2 and 4 and sometimes 6 vehicles. The booking system is always very efficient. The airport transfer is welcoming and friendly. The vehicle brief on collection is comprehensive and informative. The maintenance availability on route is professional. The drop off back in Windhoek is welcoming and fair. All the staff, from drivers, through reception, mechanics and management are professional and friendly.

Check in was a slow process, our rental service agent was more concerned with phone calls than in helping with our rental
The car had close to 100,000 miles on it and it had numerous scratches, dents, we also had issues with the automatic locks not working, could have been a battery issue,the fuel tank
was supposed to be full but only was 8/10 full.
The return of the car went well the agent was courteous and polite.

This rating concerns the rental of a Toyota Hilux Bushcamper 3.0TD 4x4 that we drove for 2 weeks during July 2019.

- Correspondence before the trip : 5*/5. Email correspondence was good and it was easy for us to book the car. Value Car Rental was very reactive and always replied to my emails within 1 or 2 days.

- Welcome, shuttle from/to the airport and service : 5*/5. Shuttle service was excellent (and included free WiFi in the shuttle, which was very appreciated). People at the reception were nice and gave us a lot of information before we left with the car, which was also appreciated.

- Car : 3.5*/5 : The car was delivered clean and in good condition. Although a bit old (the car had 150'000 KM when we got it), we didn't have any issue with the engine during the trip (we drove ~4500 KM). We were also lucky and didn't have any flat tire during our trip. The reason why I give 3.5* is because we experienced minor issues with the key (remote locking of the car was not always working and the key sometimes broke into pieces while turning on the engine, but we could easily put the pieces back together). Some lights inside the "living area" at the back of the car were also not working.

All was very good - the car, the equipment, the documents, car pick up & explantions, the transfer from and to airport, the drop off.

all ok. But: please advice client, that on 150000 km the T-Belt-lamp will flash to remember that the t-Belt-service has to be done. Specially when client get the Car with 148500 km...

Our experience was perfect, no problem at all. Perfect car with perfect equipment for camping, sleeping and cooking. Higly recommended❗️

The people working there where very good . The 4x4 toyota bushcamper would have been perfect if no Problem with the water pump that never worked and if the electrical System for the camping part would have worked properly.
The 2 things should have been changed instead of trying to be repaired.
Besides this the assistance works well. And the Toyota is a really good car.
