Don’t have a claim experience yet. But very simple process to get the insurance done. One of the few companies not insistent on residence requirements (Uk, Eu etc) for coverage. Also covers Turo/p2p rentals. And easily the best price in the market for their product. Trust pilot reviews gave me the mental comfort for my long-ish car rental on Turo.

Great service, following a car accident I was involved , which wasn’t my fault, and CarInsuRent in a very efficient way handle my claim and return the all amount of the money in less than 2 weeks!!

I would like to mention the professional service of carinsurent. From the moment I sent all the additional documents, within a few days the money was already in my account.
There is no doubt that I will continue with them since we travel a lot and rent cars around the world often.

A very Smooth and fast claiming process.
I had a small damage in my rental car, the rental company charged my 300 Euros.
I submitted all the required documents according to CarInsuRent instructions.
A few hours later a got an Email with questions regarding my claim (I was actually thinking this is going to develop into a scam and I will never see my money).
I answered all the questions elaborating where ever I could. After less then 12 hours I got an email that my claim was approved and after a few minutes I received the money to my PayPal account.
All in all it took less then 48 hours since I submitted my claim to the moment the money was in my account.

After a long trip in Europe, the car returned to the rental company with scratches on the rims
Before the rental, I purchased a carinsurent insurance deductible refund insurance
I was billed by the rental company in the amount of 444 Swiss francs (in shekels I was billed in the amount of 2286.06) I contacted the carinsurent company

They demanded a lot of documents:
Photos before and after renting the car, all the rental documents for picking up and returning the car, a photo of the debit page of my credit company, etc.

At the end of 7 days from the date of submitting the documents, they returned all the money to my PayPal account

In conclusion: a successful company, it's just important to be organized and keep all the rental documents, and take pictures of the car from all sides, before and after renting the car

Supportive, fast and helpful Customer Service. I have had a forgotten claim from 2022 (with full registration; no third party involved) and thanks to the customer service flexibility they provided some acceptable solution which solved my issue and could be accepted by myself.
Finally, I got 50% reimbursement which was an acceptable solution in this extreme case of my forgotten claim. Lessons learned has been pointed out by the Customer Service the Policy to be followed exactly next time to avoid similar reductions in the reimbursement and have a more straightforward claiming process.

I have bought two yearly policies with CarInsurent so far based on the good reviews here. Thinking that I would never need to use it, unfortunately I was wrong and had an accident with my rental car while traveling abroad. I'm glad to say that CarInsuRent fully reimbursed me promptly for the excess that I was charged. I'm a very satisfied customer!

I wholeheartedly recommend CarInsuRent. Their response time was exceptionally prompt. They requested standard documentation and photos of the damage, and I received payment directly to my PayPal account almost immediately.

Got an insurance for rental car in Iceland, while on the trip I had a tire damage that was not covered by the car rental company.
Emailed a claim to CarInsuRent and got the payment fully covered without any problem.

I damaged two wheel rims because of a rock on a road. Contacted Carinsurrent, asked and received permission to fix the damage in a garage before returning the car. I received full compensation shortly after submitting the claim.

I use Carinsurent for few years.
It is great value for money.
There are few small issues like:
1. sometimes the complaint can't be filled in the site
2. response time is not immediate
3. few more questions are asked (although they were not really needed to be asked)
The bottom line - at the end I get the money back according to the policy.
For improvement - the money coming from PayPal has a fee (same the transfer to bank account). I would propose to have an option of VISA payment (same as I pay when I do the insurance) - this is free of charge and will be great to see this working.
