Carmarthen Camera Centre Ltd Reviews 

This was my first experience of Carmarthen Cameras and as I was spending so much money, I was naturally anxious.
I visited every one of the authorised dealers on the Nikon website and Carmarthen was the cheapest - and not by a small amount.
They also have a straighforward and functional website with an unusually efficient search facility that found very specific things very quickly - so useful when you are constantly back and forth comparing.
They state that everything on their site enjoys free delivery and whilst I would have preferred my camera to be hand delivered by armed guards, I got the next best thing - DPD. I have come to trust them as a reliable courier far superior to the competition. So it is always good to see a company choose them.
I ordered several times and each time before 3PM, the item was with me next day.
Email communication was responsive and the quality of customer service really does deserve to be singled out for praise. I dealt with Lesley who went the extra distance to pull out all the stops for me and make me feel genuinely valued as a customer.
There are so many companies who 'just about get by' who could learn a lot from my fantastic experience here.
Now, just need to decide which kidney to sell off. The credit card bill is due....

This is the first time I have dealt with Carmarthen Cameras and the whole'experience' has been outstanding!
I dealt with a chap called 'Joe' who could not have been more professional.
The camera arrived safely & promptly (within 48 hours) and is in very good condition indeed.
As a result Camarthen Cameras now have an avid fan and return customer.

I have purchased several items from this company and have always received a top notch, professional and friendly service. I recently decided to upgrade my Nikon DSLR and decided to go for the D850. From my initial contact via email to my visit to the shop I can't fault them, I would thoroughly recommend visiting the shop so that you can pick the brains of the knowledgeable staff. So much better than some of the bigger stores out there. Will certainly visit them again.

Purchased a Westcott backdrop from Carmarthen Cameras via their website. The price was the best in the UK, the standard delivery was free (excellent for a bulky backdrop) and it was with me the next day. I called to get an electronic copy of the invoice and it was in my inbox within an hour. Excellent service!

With Christmas looming my tripod broke, but I needn't have worried as Carmarthen Cameras got one to me in good time. Additionally when I discovered that my telescope didn't fit the new tripod head, by the next day, I had a grub screw that enabled this problem to also be overcome. I thoroughly recommend using their services as not only efficient but very friendly and knowledgeable too. Thank you!!

A hiccup over my camera order was promptly sorted out by a personal call from the manager with apologies and an immediate resolution. Product arrived next day with good communication from the courier. Very happy customer. Among all the importing companies, it’s great to find a proper UK business with people you can talk to. Would buy from them again.

After speaking to a very helpful assistant to check they had a TG-6 and housing in stock which they were I ordered both online. 21 hours after they were ordered they were delivered, you’d be hard pushed to beat that for service and the price was great as well. All round great service has left me a happy customer, I’ll certainly use again.

I ordered a viltrox lense through amazon pay but order seem to have got held up in some queuing system. Called them up directly spoke to Tim and Joe . They were helpful and managed to reorder the lense and had it delivered free of charge next day . And for good measure Joe gave me some free advice for a camera I bought from their competitors. How fantastic.

Recently purchased a used 'Canon Powershot G1X ii' from Carmarthen Cameras. I was served by very helpful staff, and the camera is what must be 'Excellent/Mint' condition! Highly delighted with the store, staff and camera.

I received superb customer service from Nikita, after a slight hiccup with my eBay order, Nikita made sure I had the replacement item a Black Tascam DR-10L sent to me via next day delivery, at no extra cost to myself. Truly superb customer service a credit to Carmarthen Cameras.

Victoria - I spoke with Canon regarding grey imports and they confirmed the will repair items at the regular cost but not under warranty. You said you hadn't had many grey imports come in so hopefully my experience will help! You guided me in the right direction to organise the repair. As promised, I said I'd let you know the outcome. The LCD, Hinge and outer shell needed to be replaced £200 for parts and £220 for for labour so £420 total. You were super helpful and patient. 10/10.

I used Carmarthen Cameras for the first time on Tuesday. I visited their showroom in Carmarthen and was met by very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. This made the entire process of part exchanging one camera for another an easy and enjoyable process. The range of equipment that they had in stock was impressive and at no time did I feel pressurised. The staff helped me to make a decision that I had be mulling over for weeks. Full marks to all the staff I spoke with. I shall certainly be returning to Carmarthen Cameras in future when I am looking for further camera or optical equipment.
Since this first experience I have returned to Carmarthen Cameras and have part exchanged all my old equipment for new. They gave me very fair exchange values and the service I received was first class. They are an excellent company to do business with and will be my 'go to' supplier in the future.

Got a new lense for my Pentax DSLR at a very competitive price and already in stock. I had a rough idea what I needed but Mark helped me choose the exact product.

Brilliant all round

I could write a longer review but there's no reason to do so. I've just bought a spotting scope at a very competitive price and the customer service was unbeatable in all respects.
