The Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP) advocates for financial security and better access to healthcare for older adults, and leads the fight to end ageism. CARP is a non-partisan, non-profit association of 230.000 members, with a community of local chapters from coast to coast representing Canada’s most powerful generation – engaged citizens who believe in action and aren't shy about exercising influence on public policy. Membership in CARP comes with valuable benefits, including access to educational and informative webinars and newsletters, and the opportunity to volunteer with a local chapter and participate in social events.

Some of the articles in Zoomer are useful.
No particular date in mind.
Now that Zoomer magazine is online only, it would be easier for some people if it was in PDF format. That way a reader can choose to print it or read it on their device of choice.
Hearing loss
Every second letter I receive from CARP seems to be on the subject of 'hearing loss'/ advertising...a bit of over overkill I think! No specific date(s), just constant mailings.

At a time in life when we perhaps become invisible to so many, it's inspiring and comforting to know an organization is fighting so diligently to remind governments, companies, banks, etc., that they need to get their heads out of their pockets (and other dark places) and recognize seniors as a strong contributing group with a voice that will be heard. Thank-you CARP!

Informative and easy
It was easy to accomplish my task and I appreciated having the information via CARP.
Information and Comment
I really like being informed on the various topics related to seniors and aging. I also appreciate the advocacy work that CARP engages in.
However, I think CARP could be more open minded about income equity and scaling benefits to income need (e.g. adjustment of the OAS threshold so that vulnerable adults get more)
