Fast postage, wrapped well. 4 stars just because the rear rubber feet did not fit perfetly, but does all work as described. And is study enough for 2x 15ft pe kayaks.

Great price and brilliant service, fast and efficient and kept up to date with any possible delays.

The tow bar bike rack was a good price, easy to assemble and works well.
However, the bike frame adapter that I ordered at the same time was not included.
I contacted Carracks, they asked for a picture of the shipped box, which I provided, but since then, nothing. No adapter has been sent, no refund offered, no email replied to.
The only communication I have had was an email asking for a review, so here it is. Very poor customer service. I will not buy anything from them again

I bought roof rails for my son’s car. The price was competitive and delivery was quite fast. I would have given 5* but their communication is poor. I had received a notification from Royal Mail saying the parcel was coming from Ireland and because of its value there may be customs charges before it can be delivered. I emailed the company asking them what was going on as I was buying the rails from a London addressed company. I did not get any response. In the end the rails were delivered without any charges being imposed but it would have been reassuring to have had an explanation from car racks uk.

The roof bars were great value and fitted perfectly... only problem was delivery... I've never had great services with parcelforce tbh so carracks not entirely at fault... despite staying at home, delivery did not happen... had the item delivered to the post office... box was damaged with large chunks of cardboard missing... as a consequence, the bars looked like they had been used as there were scuffs at the end, although not damaged... they were steel after all... however, they should have come with x3 keys for the locks and there was only one... perhaps the other 2 fell through the holes in packaging... I did email carracks regarding this to report the damage and ask if I could get the additional keys... they did not respond to me... which was disappointing... 3 stars is a fair rating simply because of the cost of the bars and ease to order... delivery and customer service very poor

Carracks doesn’t supply anything it comes from a company in Ireland so you could end up getting hit with customs charges. Delivery times are painfully slow as is the customer services response time. Avoid at all costs

I placed an order and then read the previous reviews here which started to worry me. I then got an email from Royal Mail telling me my parcel was about to be delivered but I should expect to pay import duties. I went back to the website and saw that it was a .co.uk url, it was in £, there was a UK address listed and nowhere did it say to expect this so I tried to contact them which you can only do through a form on the website. There is no email address or contact number. I got no reply to reassure me.

The parcel arrived and there was no duty to pay which was a relief but it still took time to deal with this.

There was a fault on a part of my roof bars so I had to fill in the contact form again. After a week of no response I chased again, stating that I need a replacement part in a week as I was going on holiday. I finally got a reply and the content was very basic/limited responses that were often difficult to read and some didn't answer the question I'd asked.

I received the replacement part and the roof bars work well, but the customer service is lacking and would definitely stop me from ordering anything again.

Great all round service ,roofbars fit a treat,fantastic value for a pair so well made
