This company sucks

I went in there and bought a set of fruit but the fruit was rotten so I went back in but the cashier wouldn't accept the refund. They have even got rotting berries on the shelves! Absolutely terrible

The quality of service is poor, I order online every day and every day there is some item out of stock, and the items are available on the computer, other items are not avilables on line but they are present in the supermarket.
In the past I used other Carrefour in the Karen hub or Galleria without problems, now when I login the system force me to use the new Carrefour in Ongata Rongai and start the stress because there they don't give the same quality of service.
About the delivery at home all the time it is necessary to pick the phone because they don't know even the address where I stay and I have give as reference "near train station"...not in the Masai Mara but it is not enough...
Not raccomandabile.

Disappointing Quality

Disappointing Quality – Meat Spoils Before Expiry Date (Again!)

This is the fourth time I've bought meat from Carrefour that has gone bad before the marked expiry date. Most recently, I purchased three pig meat packages on May 4th, all labeled with a "07.05.25" date. They were the last ones left, and I expected them to at least be safe to eat for a couple of days.

To my frustration (but not surprise anymore), all three packages were already spoiled by the time I got them home. The smell was awful, and the color was clearly off. This has become a pattern, not a one-time mistake.

Whether it's a storage issue, poor rotation, or deliberate mislabeling, it’s completely unacceptable—especially when it concerns food safety. I’m extremely disappointed and honestly no longer trust Carrefour's meat section.

Our health is at risk

Title: Extremely Disappointed – Found Insects in Chocolate Bought from Carrefour

I am deeply disappointed and shocked by what happened during our recent visit to Carrefour. Yesterday, we purchased a big chocolate bar, looking forward to enjoying a sweet treat. But to our utter horror, when we opened the packaging at home, we found insects crawling inside the chocolate. Yes, insects – in a sealed product that we trusted was safe to consume!

This is not just about a ruined snack. This is about basic health and safety, which Carrefour, being a reputed and large supermarket chain, is supposed to guarantee. How can such a reputed store allow expired, contaminated, or poorly stored products to reach customers? This isn’t just carelessness – it’s sheer negligence.

Big brands and supermarkets like Carrefour make millions in profits, yet fail to ensure quality control in the products they sell. This kind of irresponsible behavior is putting our health at risk, especially when it comes to products that children often consume. It’s completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on their commitment to customer well-being.

I strongly urge Carrefour to:

Investigate how such a product made it to the shelves.

Review their food storage, inspection, and supplier quality controls.

Publicly acknowledge the issue and take responsibility.

Ensure strict actions to prevent such health hazards in the future.

To all customers reading this – please check your items carefully before consuming, no matter how big or trusted the store is. We deserve better than this.

Carrefour, you have lost a loyal customer today. Our health is not a business margin.

All items delivered are wrong!!

All items delivered are wrong!!! And the receipt attached to the bag is under my name and the correct orders of mine, but the items inside are all NOT as what I have ordered. Very disappointing and worst delivery service!!! It's always disappointing to have online purchase with this store. I made a complain from my previous bad experience but I did not receive any update about it. I thought they will improve somehow, but again this time, I was left disappointed and stressed!!!!!!!!! I HOPE THEY WILL DO SOMETHING THIS TIME, otherwise, that shows one thing, that they do not care about the complains of their customers.

Never buy on Carrefour marketplace. They are not Amazon. They support cheaters! Continue selling products from cheaters- Netnbuy!

Bought a Dishwasher Bosch Sks62e32eu 2 months ago through carrefour marketplace and it came in terrible shape (Used). Water was leaking through the box and it was smashed. Called and requested for return. They were not answering me and were speaking only through carrefour. After 3 weeks they have sent an email that delivery person will come and pick it up (this didnt happen) we called Carrefour again and they called Netnbuy and they said again they will send a delivery person to pick up. (CTT express) Finally after a month they picked up the dishwasher. We called carrefour to receive back the money and they said we shoud wait for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks we called to carrefour and Netnbuy said that they will not give back money and lied that we have sent them another dishwasher. Carrefour said that this is not true, but Netnbuy still told they will not send the money back. 2 Months have passed no money and no dishwasher! These people are Thieves. Never buy through Netnbuy! Carrefour doesnt provide any support, have not returned us money! And continue selling from Netnbuy on their marketplace, even they know that they deliver second hand products that claim they are new!

I bought a hot water dispenser (Tiger Corporation) from Carrefour Taiwan. It was difficult to use, an unintuitive product, and the user manual was equally confusing.

I returned the product to Carrefour. All they could tell me was that it wasn't their responsibility and that I should contact the original manufacturer (Tiger). It was really poor service, and I felt ignored as a customer - why do you (Carrefour) sell products if you can't explain how they work? You should take some responsibility.

Another example of companies getting too big to care.

Beware of FlightCatchers.info

No one wants to admit that they fell for a scam but I'm doing this so that others can hopefully avoid falling for the same scam.

I was in contact with sameer@FlightCatchers to see if I could get help with booking flights a bit cheaper. I saw an add on Facebook. I read reviews about FlightCatchers here on Trustpilot and it all looked good. What I did not notice was the domain ending in .com in those reviews, while the FlightCatchers I was in contact with was .info. Bad mistake!

Please do not do business with Sameer or anyone else in flightcatchers.info, phone numbers +44 7856 319995 and +44 20 3287 0909.

These scammers are doing their business via the Carrefour platform for payments. I have reported this to Carrefour Customer Care who did not seem very helpful at all. All I wanted was a confirmation that they were taking this seriously and that they would investigate. All I got was 'Thank you. Have a good day!'. I'm sure Carrefour would not wish to be associated with letting just anyone do business via their platform.

Make sure to be in contact with the real FlightCatchers.com, NOT the scammers FlightCatchers.info.

They used to be great for at home…

They used to be great for at home delivery, I’ve used them for 4 years without any issues. But this year, 1 of 2 deliveries are late, they don’t respect anymore their delivery windows. Not worth the effort to even call customer service which just doesn’t seem to know or do anything. You’re better off using Monoprix or Auchan for deliveries now.

I am complaining against Carrefour…

I am complaining against Carrefour motor city branch first avenue, I bought an Etisalat recharge voucher for 30 AED, and when attempting to recharge, it says it has been used before, I called Etisalat and said go to Carrefour branch, I went there they didn't want to refund, saying we have procedures and we will file a report and see if we will give you a refund. This is complete robery as I paid and never received any working product

Frankly appalling customer service. We buy bulk sparkling waters and we bought 8x 6 carrefour blue branded sparkling waters - we did not keep our receipt (who keeps their weekly shopping receipt)? We just got around to checking the waters and all of them were flat (probably left out in the sun or maybe a faulty batch). These are branded carrefour waters so they could not have been bought anywhere else but carrefour refused to refund or give gift card (total maybe 100 AED) - we have spent thousands of AED at carrefour over the last few years but frankly that is the last Dirham you will ever get off me or my family. Appalling customer service. Never again!
