Had an experience where I broke down on…

Had an experience where I broke down on the motorway. Second incident in a month. I rang Car Simples roadside assistance and within 45 mins they were with me. they towed my car to a garage and got me and my daughters home safe. The following morning the claim team called me and explained the process and ensured I understood everything. My car was repaired in four days, it was the turbo that had seen better days. Would recommend this insurance company to all.

AVOID! A "Scam System" designed to deny claims.

Do not buy a warranty from CarSimple. They use a "scam system" with their recommended garages to avoid paying for real repairs.

I had a clear mechanical failure (failed A/C evaporator), but they sent me to a "cowboy" garage that ignored the fault and only did a cheap "patch-up" job to save the company money. Now they won't answer the phone. They take your money for "coverage" but do everything possible to avoid fixing the car. Complete waste of money. AVOID!

AVOID!
They are in cahoots with some car dealers in Dublin and don't cover anything at all. They also respond badly (if they do). I suppose they are poorly educated and trained, and not very serious... just scammers and shell game players.
From a business point of view, though, it's a clever strategy — easy money!

Car Simple are just a waste of money

Car Simple are just a waste of money. They denied my claim as I did not comply with THEIR rules regarding servicing intervals. The issue was nothing to do with oil change or servicing. They are just scammers.

Simply a horrible experience

Simply a horrible experience! It's a scam!
I had a problem with my battery, which in practice costs 200 euros. First of all, one of the garages they recommended told me they didn't like working with "Car Simple" because they always cause problems. At first, I didn't believe them, but then it turns out that to change a simple battery, they drown you in paperwork. They even ask for things they should already have. The worst experience ever! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Experience is good.

Experience is good.
For the first I started with reimbursement process, went well in the end to reimburse the amount.
Pros:
- customer service is good they were professional.
- In the end amount is reimbursed.
- No waiting period for customer care.
Few cons
- since it is first time for me, wasn't find the proper guidance thru whole process. Has to do and go here and there to get quotes and get it approved.
- The recommended garages are not near to location and they won't pick the call too.
- I have waited almost 20 days to get it approved.
- if possible please increase the diagonals cost incurred. (As you recommends it should be fully covered from you).
- unable to find website with proper information in online.

Best guys to deal with!

Best guys to deal with!
Had a gearbox problem with my Volvo and contacted claim department about it. Chrissie was very helpful!
Jeep was back on the road in less than a week.
Highly recommend to get Car Simple extended warranty policy for you peace of mind!

Total scammers literally

Total scammers literally.
I dont know who reviews the claims but complete stupidity. They say suspension parts are covered and cant simply claim for CV boot replacements. CV boots replacement is a critical work and costs easily 200-250 euros and thats why we pay to these companies to cover these costs. Fake company, fake business, fake claim approving people. Just for money, god bless you with abundance of money. Drive Porsche and latest Audi BMWs with our money

In this case, while suspension components are covered under your policy, CV boots are not listed as covered items. This is not a discretionary decision but part of the agreed terms of the policy provided at the time of purchase. We understand repairs can be costly, but our responsibility is to assess claims against the policy wording to ensure fairness and consistency for all customers.

Their lack of communication is so…

Their lack of communication is so disappointing. I have had no car since April of this year due to a fault that should be covered under warranty which was initially accepted and after 2 months they decided not to. I have requested the decision be reviewed & overturned and have had no reply to any calls or emails for 4 weeks now. I've had no choice but to contact the ccpc (ombudsman) who are now assisting me. Absolutely shocking behavior.

I worked with Mr Rajveer

I worked with Mr. Rajveer at carsimple.he arranged the transaction to buy my car.
He was very curtious and efficient and did the job very smoothly and professionally.
I recommend this company to whomever who wants to buy or sell a car.

STAY CLEAR !!!

STAY CLEAR !!!! off this company or any garage that sells there warranty

On the 16th of June my wifes jeep broke down it only recently been serviced and had done just over 700 km and stopped working

We went to 3 garages at time to get the jeep repaired with all 3 refusing to take the job on cause the warranty was with car simple and them stating that there to hard to work with and they don’t like paying out so it’s to much hassle and go get car simple to give ur a mechanic

We then sent the car to kylemore motor centre on behalf off car simple to a man called billy real nice man and he went and found the problem and reported the issue to car simple who have now rejected the claim and left us now having to get the jeep fixed ourselves this company will do every single thing no to pay out and it’s the reason y a lot of garage will not work with them so my advice to anyone reading this is stay away from this warranty and any garage using them

I will be bringing these to court having spoke to my solicitor

So please be aware from this cowboy company

Went to make a claim for a waterpump…

Went to make a claim for a waterpump and thermostat housing on my volkeswagen golf. The claim was accepted as I assumed it would be as it clearly stated it was a part that was covered under my particular warrantee. Unfortunately they would only pay for 2.4 hours of labour in line with "auto data/ICME" leaving me to pay the remaining 3 hours of labour at 75 euro per hour. When I called they stood their ground, I asked if she was trying to tell me that the mechanic was over charging me? She said no and that their labour calculation is based on the time taken to place the part In the vehicle, they do not pay for the time taken to diagnose the vehicle and take everything out that they need to and put everything back together in order to put the new part in.

Very shadey practice in my opinion, could leave you with hundreds if not thousands of euro to pay if something major goes wrong with the engine.... keep this in mind..

They also won't pay for genuine OEM parts.

To clarify, like most warranty providers, we use standard industry labour guides such as Autodata/ICME to calculate the time required for the covered repair. These guides are widely accepted across the motor industry to ensure consistency and fairness.

Regarding parts, our policies specify the use of OE-equivalent parts in line with industry standards. However, customers can opt to use genuine OEM parts if they prefer, with a contribution equivalent to the cost of an OE-equivalent part applied.
