Excellent exerience overall

Excellent exerience overall. Took my car to multiple dealers to get prices and should have just gone to Carvana first. They ended up giving me the best price, didn't lowball me like all the dealers did (at least initially, and I just had to play the games with the greasy car guys), paid me, and rode off with the car. Unbelievably easy and will 100% use Carvana again!

Worst Car Buying Experience Ever

My husband and I recently tried purchasing a truck through Carvana, and the entire experience was a disaster from start to finish.

We entered all of our trade-in information and were offered $22,200 for our vehicle. We accepted the offer, found the truck we wanted, completed the financing process, got approved at their lowest interest rate, and finalized everything on our end. We even paid $990 to have the truck shipped.

The truck was supposed to be delivered between 4 PM and 7 PM, a few days later. At 4:17 PM on the scheduled delivery day, we got a call from Carvana telling us the truck was in terrible condition. The associate admitted it reeked of cigarette smoke, had dents and scratches everywhere, and had a cracked windshield all the way across. None of this damage or condition was disclosed or pictured online. The associate actually canceled the order himself because the listing was so inaccurate.

We were told the $990 shipping fee would be credited back to our Carvana account so we could purchase another vehicle. We spent the evening finding another truck on their site, only to discover the refund was nowhere on the account and our trade-in offer had expired. The new trade-in value? $21,000. So because of THEIR mistake, we suddenly lost $1,200 in trade-in value.

I contacted customer service, expecting them to fix a problem that was entirely created by Carvana. Instead, I was told it would take 48 hours just to submit a ticket for the refund to appear on the account. When I asked for the money refunded directly instead because we didn’t want the buying process delayed even further, I was told it would take TWO WEEKS.

Then I asked about honoring the original trade-in offer since none of this situation was our fault. The customer service rep ignored the question and ended the chat. When I reopened it, the same rep blamed “system issues” for ending the chat. She then said nothing could be done about the trade-in offer.

At this point, we’ll gladly take our business elsewhere to a company that actually cares about accuracy, accountability, and customer service. Carvana wasted our time, tied up our money, lowered our trade-in value, and expected us to just accept it.

Bought a car like 3 weeks ago

Bought a car like 3 weeks ago. To be picked up today. They waited until today to tell me they cant do today. They refuse to lower the delivery price even a little to make it more convenient for me to pick it up. I work, have no access to a car and I had to arrange my schedule and a ride to pick up the vehicle on this date and they wait until the last second to let me know it wont work and do nothing to improve the situation. Terrible customer service.

Went to sell my late uncles car won't made the cheque in his name couldn't cash it.

Refused point blank to pay funds direct into my bank account.

Car went awol for 2 days thought I would need phone police up.

Missed my flight back to UK out of pocket by $1000s due there incompetence.

Carvana’s inspection program is a joke

Carvana’s inspection program is a joke. 6 months after purchasing my car from them I had to spend $14,000 on a new engine from lack of maintence. 6 months after that I spent another $5000 on a transmission for the same reason. I will never use carvana again.

Highly recommend Carvana!!

Using Carvana online made things so much easier. The site was very user-friendly. The quote was better than expected. Even though they were not able to pick up the vehicle, we were able to drive it to the nearest location to drop it off. The staff there was great, and the actual handover was done in minutes. Our pay off and check for the extra money showed up the next day. I'd use Carvana again and recommend it to others.
