Cash App 

This is the only rating I can give. Cash app is not worth having at all on you. Yesterday I got a call at 10:51am from cash about my card is locked due to fraudulent activity in 3 states. I live in Arizona. Their fraud department said in order to unlock the phone they will help me secure my funds. Instead they went in and took 1440 dollars from my card. I told them about and they are refusing to replace it. Now I have to speak to a supervisor on Monday about it since their online support refuses to do it when they had someone on their end so it. I have filled a report with the FTC and the FBI. Next is reporting the issue to local news station and the BBB. Again do not get the cash app it is not worth it.

I ordered a new card. Cash App sent me a card with my full name and the name was cut off. This has never happened before. I reached out to customer service and they outright refused to explain what happened. They told me to contact the social security administration and update my name, even though there was no name update, they want me to jump through a bunch of crazy hoops to fix a problem they caused and won’t tell me why it happened. If I could give 0 stars I would. And I sure hope the developer doesn’t respond with some “we strive to do our best for our customers” line like they all do, and actually fix the problem they caused.

They literally stole $500 out of my account without a trace and claimed it was a glitch. They did not return the money

I sold a laptop to someone with Cashapp. A week later their payment showed up as refunded. I was not aware that this was the case on the App. I would have never accepted Cashapp if I knew people could do this. This was really frustrating because their customer support is non existent and they don't answer you back. It's like they drop you off in a limbo where you're on your own in the Wild West.

Cash App shut down my account due to fraudulent activity without explaining what went wrong. Despite contacting customer support and receiving various excuses, I was still unable to get my money back. In addition, my bank would not accept deposits from Cash App, which made the situation more complicated. I had to seek the assistance of a cybersecurity attorney to recover my funds, which took two weeks to resolve. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using Cash App."

Cashapp close my account and they never can't verify me

Wack! Wack! Wack!!! These people have horrible customer service! How don’t y’all have enough funds to hire decent customer service reps? This is beyond ridiculous what they put people through. They scam people by saying “oh I’m not familiar with that it’s not my department” gtfoh. Get rid of this app asap. It is not worth it.

At first it was good. Then suddenly I lost the option to deposit paper money which is how I send money to my children that I don't live by. I don't always have money and access to money on a card so paper money is easiest for me. They say I have multiple accounts which I don't they say I do things that aren't right which I don't I simply send my kids a few dollars. This is the worst app ever

All I use cash app for is to transfer from my savings in 1 bank to account to my checking account to another bank

Cash app should burn in hell. in the first month we had security issues and my payments were not going through. I provided my drivers license, pictures of my cards and everything. I thought this was fixed.

Today I had a tree trimming company I had to pay. and my money was in my savings bank ( which doesn't have Zelle) I did this cash app thing and we still had a security problem. I called ( of course no one picks up the phone) and you have to wait for a non English speaking agent to call you back which you don't understand.

nothing got accoplished while talking to his person because I didn't understand him. I'm canceling all my cash app accounts. This is bull! I would love to report them to the Security Exchange Commission

UPDATE...I called paypal and I found out I could do the same thing. I set up another account in addition to the one I had I tried it both ways ( Bank A to Bank B and visevera) and it worked flawlessy I was able to call paypal and had a English speaking agent. Thank you so much paypal. Cash App can burn in hell!

Do not use cash app

Cash App is ridiculous. It is a scam. They took over $20 for me receiving $800..... Your money goes missing, cash app can never tell you where it is. Please use another money app people because cash app is robbing people with thier over ridiculous fee's.Before I could even cash out money was taken.

Someone scammed my son for almost 3000 and cash app says there is nothing they can do. Then my other son, a thing called vinmo took 160.00 and cash app isn't correcting this either. If cash app is continuing to allow this to happen then why not shut it down. My kids have worked hard for their money and for someone to STEAL it and no repucusions. Sad

Cash Apps customer service is the absolute worst. They don't take any time to look into any issues you have. It's all copy and pasteing the same troubleshooting steps they think you should try but if they can't figure out how to answer you're question you are put on hold (I waited 2 hours) and never come back to acknowledge you. You better hope you have no problems because if you get an actual person he/she will be so inept you'll get frustrated to the point of hanging up due to the ignorance of the apps employees.

Another major issue is people hacking your card. Your account seems to be easy for hackers since it happened to me 3 times in 2 days without success and since the employees are clueless they just leave pre-written reviews

I solved one of the many problems by locking the card when it's not in use and unlock it when you need to use it. I have a friend that keeps getting and you'd better hope you don't have a scheduled bill payment coming out of your account or else. Anytime your card is unlocked, it's attacked by hackers and compromised. I'm pretty vigilant about who sees my card but they have programs that fish for working sign in information and pass it around. If they find it, they wipe out your Cash App and also try to access your bank if it's connected. If they get in your bank (IT'S GAME OVER²² Hopefully things will change due to the new members and especially the new owners of Cash App. With the new owners, hopefully the site becomes more organized and less scammer friendly.

Best app for scammers to scam you because there is no buyers protection!

I used the app to make a partial deposit on a place n was scammed out of my money and I couldn't get cash app to do anything about it 😔 I am on a fixed income and I don't have any money to be throwing out to anyone. I'm about to be homeless and I don't even have enough money to run. On for the month now. I'm having to rely on people that shouldn't be the case plus I can't get my medicine

Customer service are rude, asked my name and gave to him but he still insisted is not my legal name and hung up on me.

I will never trust this cheap application with my money again. Horrible customer service. I felt like I was talking to a 10 year old when I requested help. I was scammed for $1,000 and cash-app saw that it was unauthorized and did nothing about it. As far as I know they could've had something to do with it. They treated the situation like it happens all the time, and it was completely ok. They actually told me, "It happens all the time, and they can't do anything about it". Cheap money merchant service at it's worst.

I would give cash app a negative 10 stars if I could. All the advertised features of cash app are false. They say get your direct deposits 2 days early, but they tied my money up for 2 days. And there's hidden fees. I sent my wife $1500. It took way too long for her to get it & then she had to pay a $50 fee to get actual money. Also, I sent my cash app $2000 from my bank account by Zelle, the money was out of my account instantly. When it didn't post on cash app I contacted Zelle. They sent me confirmation of Zelle sending my money & it being received by cash app along with confirmation numbers. I finally, after hours of trying to talk to a human at cash app, started a chat with customer service. The nastiest chat I've ever experienced. Couldn't believe the way I was belittled. I gave them all the proof of the transaction, but was told there was a problem my bank needed to handle, "by the way, is there anything else I can do for you today?" I was floored.
They couldn't care less about my problem. I responded by saying I would post wonderful reviews on BBB, Google, Yelp, & any other site I could find. 2 days later Zelle got my money back for me. Zelle deserves all 5 stars. They are my heroes. Cash app should be investigated.

I wrote a review back in August maybe July anyway my issue with cash app is still not resolved I sent $200 to a wrong address the money was never accepted and the person who I sent it to will verify that I went to the better business bureau ( what a joke cash app is a member probably a paying member) and BBB sided with cash app I went to consumer financial protection they took cash apps side I am now locked out of cash apps support site . Go figure
Cash app is nothing but thieves STAY AWAY the WORST money app ever
I'm thinking of going to my attorney general here in NY and the inspector general
Also want to make a video for tik tok warning people
$200 doesn't come easy especially when you're on a fixed income

Cash app stole money from my account.
