A scam or just incompetence?
Like it seems many many others I went to get £50 cash from a cashzone atm in Ashington West Sx BP Garage. The machine processed my request but did not dispense any cash. However there was no error message. I phoned the help number on the machine and spoke to staff inside the garage. Garage staff said they were unable to help but knew the machine wasn’t working. I wrote a note to warn others and posted on local FB village group . Cashzone help line said my bank would look into my claim after 24hours but I needed to notify the bank myself. Clearly they were nt interested. It’s a brilliant money making scheme for them! I was even more surprised that my bank made it really hard to report and log the error as it relies on an automated system which often failed I needed to highlight that on social media before I got a response. They then said IF my claim was upheld it might take over 15 days to get the money returned! I think it’s absolutely shocking at any time of year but around Christmas it’s awful! I will never use cashzone again and I’m going to progress my complaint with banking standards

The ATM has a security alarm that nobody manages. The alarm goes off day and night (screaming).
The fault has been reported but over a week later the issue has not been resolved.
No Cash Given
Tried to get cash from the ATM Coop Cockerton Darlington. I waited and nothing was dispensed. It then flashed up out of service and then it went back to the normal screen. I went into the Coop (it’s not their ATM just to be clear) to ask if they would put up an “out of service” sign to prevent others from losing out but they’re not allowed as it’s not their ATM. I’ve contacted my bank but have to wait 24 hours to see if the cash is returned! Apparently this machine is regularly disfunctioning but Cash Zone has not done anything about it. Do not use this ATM.

I was debited for £40 that was never dispensed by the machine at Michael Wood Services on the M5. The machine says you have to raise the issue with your bank, which I did. The outcome was there were no errors!!! The machine would surely record the discrepancy so this is daylight robbery. Absolutely appalled!

The cash machine took my card and then went wrong, I phoned the number on the machine and got through to support in about 1 minute. The man I spoke to was very helpful and friendly.
The problem with the machine couldn't be fixed remotely, but I did get my card back.

Robbing thief’s
Robbing thief’s! They took my card and stated to my bank I had withdrawn £250. I needed that cash to pay my carpet fitter this am, I now have no carpet until after Xmas. The in convenience of having to have a new card now. The machiene stated my card had been reported lost or stolen, no it had not. This morning my bank said there is no transaction showing so the machiene might have updated. Not fit for purpose and a faceless customer service. You can only make complaints in Writing. The bigger picture they don’t want you having cash they want it all digital.

I tried to get cash out of this machine, it asked for my pin and amount, I got a ping on my phone that the transaction had gone through, the machine sat there saying ‘we are processing your transaction’ for several minutes.
I couldn’t leave, because what if as soon as I left the money came out and someone swiped it?? It eventually after about 5 minutes said ‘transaction declined’ and gave me my card back.
Stupidly I tried again but the machine just swallowed my card and didn’t respond - it stayed on ‘please insert your card’ although I already had done. Guess I won’t be seeing that again - had to order a new one from the bank.

Don't trust these A.T.Ms there is a high probability the machine won't dispense any cash and will steal your money. Leading to you having to call customer service to try and rectify there mess.

Did not payout my cash, I've raised an ATM dispute with my bank and am still waiting.
ATM prints receipt that it has a fault& cannot dispense cash but still takes from bank a/c
ATM did not dispense cash. It printed a receipt saying "withdrawal ispenser error ocurred ATM could not dispensemoney You have not been charged."
However the money was taken from my bank account. I contacted my bank who raised disputeprocess and said that I would be refunded in 2-3 days. Three days later I phoned, and bank said Cash zone taking up to 5 days to respond.
I rang again today and bank said cashzone ignoring claim and they raising another one.
What is going on? This sort of thing is normally the sign of a company going to the wall.
