I visited Catherine’s of Partick a few weeks ago not sure what I wanted. The staff seemed to know what was my style and fit they could not have been more helpful and friendly. I would like to especially thank Dolly for dressing me and her kindness shone through. I cannot wait to wear my beautiful dress and hat come April 2025. Cannot recommend this shop highly enough.

Thank you to everyone who helped with my appointment for my sons wedding. Especially to Dolly, who was fabulous, nothing was a bother and brought out some lovely dresses and hats. Safe to say, I bought a dress and hat. Thank you for all your help.

Such a poor experience - They charge you a deposit for an appointment, yet I was made feel like a total inconvenience. Staff hand you dresses wrapped in plastic and with ribbons tied to the hangers and give you minutes to change before sticking their head in to the dressing room without checking, asking if you are ready. Felt so invasive and like a hard sell experience. Staff constantly complaining about how tired they are.

Really friendly staff very patient and made you feel very comfortable listened to your opinion and took into consideration your budget. Many thanks to Dolly and Roma for all of their support and advice.

Great experience at Catherine's of Partick. My daughter was in for a prom dress appointment and by far was the best shop and the best service by Katie. Katie was absolutely amazing at her job and made my daughter feel so comfortable. Can't wait for prom now and to see my daughter in this beautiful dress. Thank you so much Katie

Lisa was lovely and so patient, she listened to what I wanted and brought several dresses for me to try. I chose one which I’m so happy with.

Katie was very attentive and helpful while picking my mums “Mother of the Bride” dress. She gave her opinion and was great at helping to pick the perfect colour and size of dress. The whole experience was lovely. The only downfall of the day was waiting 20 mins to be taken after designated appointment time with no seating to wait, which was difficult for my sister who has back issues. Overall though the staff in the shop were great.

Enjoyed my day in Catherine’s ! Getting my mother of the bride outfit, my assistant Roma was so experienced and helpful!! I cannot thank her enough so exited :) Annie x

Had a lovely experience at Catherine's of Partick, nothing was too much trouble for Roma who served me, she was very helpful. Purchased a lovely dress , hat, shoes and bag. Would recommend to friends and family.

Catherine's of Partick were very helpful, obliging and knowledgeable about the dress I had chosen. Having travelled over to Glasgow from the North of Ireland it was important that I got dress correct. The seamstress was excellent and the dress was the perfect length on the day. A great many compliments were received on the day regarding the dress and where it was purchased - I was happy the dress pleased my daughter too as it was her very special day, Dr. Aisling Farren. Thank you Catherine's of Partick and I certainly will be keeping your shop in mind for future special occasion outfit...

Excellent friendly service. I am delighted with my purchases.I was assisted by a very helpful knowledgeable and friendly woman called Lisa who made my daunting wedding outfit hunting experience very pleasant and enjoyable... she even helped me out with using the subway for my return journey.

Thanks to Katie at Catherine’s of Partick who was so helpful and encouraging in helping me find my ‘Mother of the Bride’ dress and hat! She couldn’t have done more to help me find the right outfit. 😄

I purchased a dress from catherine of patrick march 2024, the dress was very large which I got altered in the shop and was not cheap and cost just over £200. My son's wedding took 2 years planning, the day of the wedding all was going to plan. The vintage cars arrived at our home and we all went to get ready, I put my dress on and then all of a sudden the zip burst open. I was panicking and didn't know what to do, I got so very upset crying ruined my make that just got professionally done, my family had a closer look. We were horrified the zip was completely broken and unfixable. I didn't have a backup dress, it was absolutely awful 😢. I missed going in the car with my son because I wasn't going to let him be late for his own wedding 😔 I had to get someone to help saw the dress on me. Unfortunately the zip only got stiched up less than half way as there was no time and I had no option to go to my sons wedding with half the dress open at the back which caused the dress to be to loose at the shoulders and front. This disaster ruined 2 years of planning and caused my family especially myself great stress and disappointment as this should never have happened. I was and still am devastated as I can't ever get that special day that was meant to be memorable back. Very upset the the zip on the dress was faulty and broke 💔 completely utterly devastated 💔 😢

We travelled from Carlisle for our appointment with Irene to get a mother of the bride dress for my daughters wedding and the experience was wonderful! From the minute we walked in we felt relaxed and everyone was very professional. I walked away with the dress of my dreams and wouldn’t hesitate to go back for another event. Thank you again for all your help.

Katie and Roma were very helpful and very friendly. It made my shopping experience really enjoyable.

Top notch experience. Catherines of Partick saw us at short notice and found me the perfect dress for my pre wedding shoot! Even when I asked to come back another day so I can think about it, they were super patient, kept my dresses aside for me and let me try them on as many times as I wanted to make a final decision. Super professional but more importantly so, so friendly that you feel compelled to buy your dress from them . Would happily go back any day for dresses and 100% recommend them if you’re looking for something for your special day!

From the moment I contacted Catherines of Partick to the time I picked up my chosen outfit, everyone was helpful and put you at your ease. When I arrived for my initial appointment, Jacqueline listened to my requirements, made helpful suggestions and ultimately helped me find the ideal outfit. Her calm.and kind approach made the experience much less daunting.

If I could give this shop a 10 star rating I would. What a fabulous experience from start to finish. I was so nervous about having to try outfits on in front of strangers until I was greeted by Roma! Roma Instantly put me at ease the minute I walked through the door. I tried some fabulous dresses on and Roma styled them all brilliantly! I left the shop with my beautiful Mother of the groom outfit with all accessories needed. I honestley could not have asked for a better experience. We all need a Roma to make us feel special!
