We have used Cellar Tours for trips in 2023, 2025 and 2026. They are very professional, hands on and detailed oriented. The experiences they provide are outstanding and often unavailable to the general public. From outstanding hotels, Michelin lunches/dinners, to fabulous wine tastings, you can't do any better.

Amazing trip from start to finish! Simona helped with every step of the way! Did Florence, Tuscany with amazing wine tours, and the Amalfi Coast!!! Will be going back and already booked another trip with them in Northern Spain!

My wife and I just completed our second tour with Cellar Tours to northern Italy (a third to Ireland was canceled by Covid). If we were to openly express our feelings about the incredible journeys arranged and executed for us it would come across as artificial. Suffice to say that Simona takes great pains to understand what is important for each tour participant and designs a custom itinerary to fit. It is not a one-time exercise. Via email and personal phone calls over many months Simona pre-plans, tweaks and tweaks and tweaks until all of one's interests (and budget) are met. Our wine tastings, cooking schools, culinary experiences and personal interests (antiquities, WWI history, local history, the local people, balsamic wineries, prosciutto curing plants, parmigiana cheese dairies, etc.) are included in a 75–80-page itinerary. Quality is the highest in all endeavors. Joyous memories to last a lifetime!
As one who has spent almost 50 years driving 25-30 thousand miles a year for business (without accident), I must recognize the professionalism, safety and delightful personalities of the drivers who are the daily face of Cellar Tours. They make the tour!

We've been very fortunate to have used Cellar Tours for our travels many times. Each experience was exactly what we wanted and expected, including accomodations, meals; food and wine, (several we choose to experience more than once because they are exceptional!), guided tours, private driver and vehicle, wine tours, current local events, gourmet activities, including cooking with chefs, olive oil tasting, cheese tasting, and more!) Working with Simona and Gen is an absoulute delight and they have continued to create the perfect vacations for us in Italy and in several other countries!!! We highly recommend Cellar Tours, and will continue to use them for many more unforgettable vactions!!!

My husband and I are wine lovers and Cellar Tours was able to book us a customized tour including several wineries with tours, tastings and lunch with the wine makers.
They also included a mozzarella tour, olive oil tasting tour and a tour of the Tullis.

Our experience was great from the start. Working with Cellar Tours was easy by email. Plans were very outlined and customized for what we wanted. The final proposal was very detailed. Simply a wonderful experience! It was so easy, and then such a great variety of wineries, restaurants, and experiences. As huge wine fans (snobs?), we got to experience some great places we had only heard of. The whole experience moved seamlessly, and it was such a pleasure to just enjoy the experiences and not have to worry about what was next, where to eat, what to do. We certainly had the opportunity to provide our input and preferences ahead of time, but once we arrived in Bordeaux we got to just relax and enjoy a wonderful vacation.

Wow! Simona at Cellar Tours curated a beautiful experience for us (4 couples) in Umbria and Marche. From the private wine tastings to the delicious meals, to the unique hotels and art excursions, everything was thoughtfully scheduled and every detail considered. We were warmly welcomed everywhere, all because of Simona. We are pretty sophisticated travelers, and we were very impressed! Highly recommend Cellar Tours!

We are home, mostly recovered and catching up as best we can. So let me respond to your request.

First, we had a marvelous time. We were extremely lucky with the weather throughout and your planning was perfect. As you implied, after a day of breakfast, wine tastings with assorted snacks and fabulous lunches , dinner was either skipped or very light. Roberto was a marvelous driver, ambassador and companion; he kept us on track and made sure all of our needs were met. He is a complete professional.

The accommodations were perfect and luxurious. My wife particularly enjoyed the spa and pool at Castillo Termal. Palacio Salamaniego is a jewel box of luxury. The staff was the best.

The restaurants were amazing (food and wine). I would readily return to all. We were treated like VIPs. Not only is the presentation at Jose Maria Asador not to be missed but the charm of the proprietor greeting all of his guests is a treat.

Leticia gave us a marvelous tour of Segovia and confirmed our arrangements at Jose Maria Asador. The tour of Laguardia would not have been as enjoyable without Javier and his enthusiasm. He is really special.

The wineries were well chosen and all different. The level of English of the guides was more than adequate. Mikel speaks perfect English and I enjoyed geeking out about wine with him. I particularly appreciated that these were not huge factory wineries but more intimate enterprises. Dominio De Cair  was especially educational in a new and fun way (discovering the differences between French and American oak). Lunch at Valduero was excellent and generous.

I wish I had referred more often to the keepsake itinerary, particularly the glossary of food terms which is remarkably thorough and would have helped us through Andalucia.

In short, thank you for your efforts on our behalf. We will certainly keep you in mind for future adventures. Of course you can share our comments.

Our tour of Spain with Cellar Tours was phenomenal! We are experienced travelers and Genevieve is the absolute best! We are amazed at every aspect of our trip. The wine visits are special with special people who truly care about the experience. The hotels are the best and our driver always was respectful and fun. There is no detail that is missed. We need to be gluten free for medical reasons and every meal and food opportunity was amazing and GF! Wow! Even the pintxos tour with Eski was flawless! Cellar Tours is a 15 on a 10 point scale!

I highly recommend Cellar Tours to all our friends. This was our third trip with them and our fourth is coming up in October. The tables they booked for us were the very best in the house. They must have clout with these restaurants. The variety of the trips is
nice, and they choose great guides and drivers. The hotels they book us into are all fantastic. I give them my highest endorsement.

We just returned from an amazing 10 day trip to Sicily, Milan and Lake Como. Simona did an awesome job planning our trip down to the smallest details. She went out of her way and even coordinated the perfect surprise marriage proposal with my fiancé. Her meals, sightseeing and lodging recommendations were spot on. She was also very easy to reach during our trip and answer any questions we had.

Our trip started in Asturias, continued on to La Rioja and ended at San Sebastian in Basque country. Every step of the way our professional driver ensured everything went smoothly. All the activities from private wine tastings to Michelin starred restaurants to seeing the magnificent architecture and scenery made this a trip to remember. This was our second time using Cellar Tours and we are already looking at a 3rd. Genevieve was attentive and helpful and all our requests were included in this "bucket list" trip. Two of our most favorite activities were meeting with the owner of Cupani wine, touring his vineyards and having lunch he cooked himself, and an amazing pinxtos tour in San Sebastian!

We had an amazing trip in Rioja wine region of Spain! From the trek guide to the private tours, and from high-end wineries to family run shops, we appreciated the thought Genevieve put into providing a variety of experiences and how smoothly everything was executed. While it is expensive, it is worth it and we can't wait to do another trip with Cellar Tours somewhere else in the next few years.

We have used Cellar Tours for three different locations now and in each case we were delighted with their service. They booked us in absolute the best hotels, provided Mercedes town cars, and drivers who were personable, fluent and knowledgeable. They attended to every detail.

My wife and I just returned from two weeks on the Amalfi Coast and Naples and were absolutely thrilled with everything Cellar Tours did to make this an unforgettable experience. We had the most amazing experience with cellar tours. The preplanning for the trip was simplified for us as we only answered questions about what we expected out of the trip. It was even more than we could have expected. We had a great balance of free time and planned activities. We did not feel like we had a tour director looming over us, but we did have the schedule we helped create. The winery tours and lunches were so over the top that we were speechless many times throughout the vacation. Having our own private driver helped make it the vacation of a lifetime.
