We dealt with the staff at Ambler…
We dealt with the staff at Ambler Funeral Home, a part of co-op funeral services. The staff were very courteous, empathetic and nothing was too much for them. They made the whole experience more comfortable and easier to deal with and we even had some laughs along the way, especially with Grace the lady who sorted the funeral out for us and whom I saw on several occasions.
Would recommend them to family and friends.

Co op funeral services Oadby
Amy at the co op funeral home in Oadby was fantastic from start to finish. Everything was smooth running, everything was explained and organised with Empathy and precision. Lorraine,my chosen celebrant was amazing and Natasha was just a very special , professional and empathic undertaker. Between them they guided me through a very tough time. Thank you so much.

A great service
A great service for my father's funeral from the Wednesbury branch, very smooth and efficient, and they took great care every step of the way. The staff were professional and respectful, and showed a lot of compassion. From start to finish they took control, and ensured that there were no issues, or to bother us unnecessarily.

Genuinely caring and professional
Our designated co-ordinator (Paula) was wonderful. She gave practical and professional advice on all aspects of arranging our mom’s funeral. We were listened to and then guided through the whole process in a considerate, non-judgmental and caring manner. Nothing was too much trouble and we were kept updated at all stages without the need to ask or chase for information.
It was a massive relief to know that mom was taken care of as well as we were during our most difficult period.

Arranging a funeral for your Mom is a…
Arranging a funeral for your Mom is a tough and emotional experience. Mandy was supportive, caring and empathetic during our journey offering advice and suggestions throughout - even to the point of asking the team to wear a red tie to incorporate one of moms wishes. The horses were so beautiful, also in red, and the funeral team were all wonderful on the day. A big part of the day!
We had one issue in that visits to see Mom were restricted due to working hours and holidays booked but we managed to get round it with support from Toni (Manager) who personally delivered the first copy of moms service booklet to our home.
John, the celebrant, was easy to talk to and gave a great opening and support throughout the service. Comments from both family and the Co-op team saying how beautiful the service was gave us the acknowledgement that we had given mom what she wanted. If there is such a thing as a beautiful funeral service then Moms was it!

Not a very warm welcome from staff
Not a very warm welcome from staff, were not offered a cup of tea . When my father was collected 2 women arrived who were not strong enough to carry him . They dropped him on the stairs then needed my husband’s help to get him in the back of the van .All in all not a professional service .

Good service .
Martina managed to have the perfect tone in communication- she was efficient and informative, caring but not OTT.
Everything went as planned on the day and she kept us informed beforehand. All the bearers looked smart and the funeral director was again good on running through details beforehand to check everything was as we wanted and expected
