I ordered a custom-built PC from Center Com, but the process was frustrating. It took over four weeks to receive my system, and communication throughout was poor. Many components were out of stock, an... See more

Did not fix faulty PC
I bought an Intel NUC. It kept crashing and I sent it back under warranty. They returned it and said it was fixed. It still crashed. I asked for a refund and they said they would get back to me. They did not. In the end, Intel gave me a refund for part of the PC but I still lost about $300 because Centre Com had assembled a kit and added components. This was not obvious when I bought it. I decided to cut my losses as I could not spend any more time arguing with them. Thank you Intel for standing by your product when this retailer would not. I will never buy from Centre Com again. Buyer beware.
I signed up for some work posting Ads…
I signed up for some work posting Ads to face book, gumtree and Market Place for the company. I was told to post the Ad while waiting on the contract for work and to give my bank details and some ID for conformation. The management is currently working on provision of the contract for all the newly employees
Centre Com Australia
I will be sending you ads to post on Facebook marketplace now Did that posted the AD got msg for posting Ad from customers and sent them the link to order stuff. Yes ,as we're preparing the salary payments because we gave to pay for the job you have already done with us even without the contract
Centre Com Australia
That's why we're asking for your ID for confirmation with the name of your bank as to be 100% sure of the payments. Sorry for the late response
Centre Com Australia
You will be receiving your first salary payment on 7th of Jan. This is a msg i got from them. Good, no purchase yet but from what we have on your track record shows an impressive statistics. Keep up with what you have been doing.
Good luck Ora. Well the Friday the 7th comes around and no payment or any sign of a contract. So as anyone would do i msg them saying, I have not received my payment for work done.. Then i get another msg saying you will be receiving your first salary payments on 10th. OMG what is going on with that. So i msg again and send them a screen shot of the previous msg saying i was to be paid on the 7th jan. me: why suddenly the pay dat change after i asked 3 times if we were getting paid friday the 7th, and all 3times i was told yes Friday i will be getting paid, now i have received a msg saying i will be getting paid Monday the 10th. who is running this outfit and can someone please clarify whom i am communicating with as no name is put to the messages. After that i received a msg from them Sorry we will get back to you shortly, apologies for the delay in responding from our technical team. Bear with US Ora. And that was the last msg i got from the company and they blocked me from Face Book chat so i could not send anymore msg to them to chase up payment.. and i had emailed them about that too. so here i am now putting it out there don't work for them unless u have a contract.. my silly mistake for believing that there are some decent human's out there, but as it is with this company so wrong wrong so wrong. I have been scammed goodo Centre Com i hope you can sleep at night.
Disgusting Company
I have bought many products from CentreCom. Last recent purchase was a brand new laptop for our mother's birthday. We've had a lot of trust and faith in CentreCom that we didn't bother checking the box. As our mother was opening the box. We all realised this box had previously been open. Inside the box the seal was already broken. As well as the actual laptop with greasy fingerprints.
We thought they must have given us the wrong box. So we decided to return next day for an exchange. Interestingly, they requested us to leave the laptop there for an inspection which only happens on weekdays. So we cut the fuss. We'll take the refund thanks. After 7 days, we received a message. Ready for collection. Must be a mistake again.
We got to the store and inquired about our refund. They said theres a problem with your refund and its been rejected. Reason was "the service team inspected the laptop and there was no issues, so it was determined that refund was not required" so in other words if there was issues or no issues with the laptop they would not provide you a full refund. We were fuming by this point. They went to talk to the manager and avout 30 mins later, they said we can refund you there was things we couldn't see in our system.
We lined for for another 30 mins for a refund. They tried about 7 times to refund me on multiple cards, them thinking I have a limit. Seriously, theres no limit of you taking my money but there is when refunding me.
I've never been so disappointed in a store before. They've literally sunk lower every minute I was in that store. If you are considering purchasing at CentreCom, I'd suggest you do some research and avoid this dodgy disgusting company.
Excellent service and after service.
Excellent service and after service.
Ordered a pre-built gaming rig, then decided to make some changes. No lip from the salesman(Duke), just courteous service and a terrific willingness to help.
Bundoora Centrecom didn't let me down at all, components at a very reasonable price, excellent service. Personally, I will recommend this company to anyone looking for a customised rig, components, or a pre-build.
Fraudulent waiting for my 380 dollars…
Fraudulent waiting for my 380 dollars back, called and appeared sound like Indian ladies told me they refund money 3 or more working days, still nothing no results no monitor no refund, buyers beware, my bank will be investigating for fraud, I purchased item they made it difficult saying corporate section doesn't resolve customer service issues.
Fraudulent charges
I've got a small charge in my credit card from this store. I never bought anything from there before - I didn't even know they existed until I've got this problem. Then, I've got several other fraudulent charges from other places after this one, so I think someone working there is involved in credit card fraud.
Non existent service
Purchased a monitor that was out of stock but the ETA for new stock was 5 working days. A couple of days later, the ETA blew out to 30 working days. I then cancelled order and received confirmation of the cancellation. Eight days later, I had still not received a refund and after contacting Centre Com, I was told that they would look into matter. Another two days passed with no apparent action by Centre Com. Lodged a dispute with PayPal and within 2 working days, PayPal found in my favor and my account will be recredited with the original amount. Terrible service by Centre Com.
Horrible first experience being accused of previous chargebacks and fraudulent activity!?!?
My first ever order was cancelled by them with reason due to "previous chargebacks and fraudulent activity (Vincent B.)" I have never bought anything here before so this is impossible. I'm quite upset of being accused of this. Worst first impression ever!
Tried to return an unopened box…
Tried to return an unopened box monitor. Only to be told that I was straight up lying mad that I would have to lose 15% of the price I brought it for. I hadn’t even opened the box. There’s no give or take with these guys it’s their way or the highway. Keep away where you can I know I will be.
Non existent service & follow up
The purchased laptop is great, but the advertised bonus promotional items have not been not delivered. Their online team have not performed in any way. Absolutely no response to 8 phone calls, 2 online tickets or several emails. Interestingly, the online sales phone number has been removed from their web page. Nobody is answering or dealing with this issue, very disappointing.... I'll be contacting Consumer Affairs tomorrow.

Scammer with no after sales support, breach of Australian Consumer Law.
After sending a defective item back a month ago and "refund approved", no refund has been given.
Despite numerous requests to enact the refund my emails are ignored. With dozens of complaints elsewhere regarding hours of waiting on the phone and poor service I decided it is not worth to even call them.
Item bought from ebking_aus which is run by Centre Com.
A paypal claim has been submitted and this company is now on my blacklist of ripoff merchants.
A complaint to Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) is forthcoming.
One of the cheapest places to get PC components
I have purchased a number of items from Centrecom such as the NZXT Z63 AIO Cooler, they have the best prices and the customer service is very responsive.
This was during the height of the pandemic, even when the product was out of stock, they continued to update me.
All around good retailer, this is for the online store though. The only downside is their range might not be as big as others.
If I could give them a 0 star I would
If I could give them a 0 star I would. But that won't bother because I was told by their staff at Centrecom Clayton to leave this review. When he refused to help me trouble shoot over the phone an internet connection on a computer that was bought 5 months ago from them. The computer started sounding like a tractor at full throttle 2 months after purchase. I was told to take it back. They replace the power pack. Now their internet connection is not working. I had an international zoom meeting this morning and was setting up half an hour earlier than needed. I could not connect. All trouble shooting point to their tp link adapter. So I called hoping to be guided through a process a tech expert will know how to handle. Except I was told to bring it in. I said, "I can't I'm half an hours drive from you and I have an important meeting in half and hour can't you pls talk me through fixing this. It's urgent."
A most disinterested tech expert said no I won't. You need to bring it in. That's how we work. I won't be able to help you. You either bring it in or we can't help."
I said, "This is insane. I won't make it back in time. I'm going to review this online!"
Disinterested replied, "Yeah, do that."
I replied, " so you are saying I must leave a bad review?"
"Yeah, do that."
So here I am taking the advice of a tech expert who could not advice me on how to troubleshoot the junk they sold me but was qualified in advice on leaving reviews.
Do not buy their made by geeks products. They are made by geeks who cannot build technical things but are experts in reviews. If you need advice on leaving reviews call Centrecom Clayton. They have expert advice in that department. I will now copy this and send to their online tech support on Sunshine. Apparently they can fix things online just not their store experts.
