Do not buy anything from Cerascreen

Do not buy this or anything from Cerascreen! I ordered the Extensive Food Sensitivity + Allergy Test (252 foods). The lancets go in too deep for small hands and damaged my finger (used as instructed). My finger is still numb a month later where it poked it. I consumed a variety of foods even ones I have allergies to for almost a year before taking this test. The results showed zero allergens (though I have severe food allergies shown by labs the doctor did and my body's reactions) and showed the exact same percentage of reaction to the foods. This is not realistic. The test was not legit. I also requested a refund well before they even emailed saying they got the kit in the mail from me. They emailed back, ignored my request and said they were doing the lab anyway. Waste of money, time, and left with nothing but bodily damage. They do NOT have a way to contact them via phone! I wish I never used this company. Also they try to bribe your reviews.

Corona Antibody is very PAINFUL, lancets sharp

Covid Antybody test kit, is lousy, the
lancets were VERY painful and sharp, made a real cut in my finger, couldn't Type for 3 Days, nothing like in a dr. surgery,
besides it is now 6 Days and have NOT received my results! My review on the website just got deleted......
so makes me wonder how many more people out there had same experience
SO HANDS OFF THIS COMPANY........

Simple test

I did a food sensitivity test years ago and was surprised at all the things that were reactive. I had a little difficulty with Cerascreen because they sent me the wrong test and had to resend it. All in all from ordering to results it took me about 5-6 weeks to get my results because of all the delays. Then when I got the results, of the 240 things, less than 15 things were even reactive.. I expected the dairy to be something that was reactive due to my GI upset with dairy but was a little disappointed that I didn't get any other answers to my symptoms. I guess it would be great if dairy was my only sensitivity but I just have a hard time believing the results. My previous testing was extensive as well and had at least 30-40 things that were highly reactive.. Customer service is helpful and responsive. The testing kit is very easy to do.

Result discrepancy

I took a ferritin test snd it was sent back twice as not being able to be analyzed on the third try it was analyzed and results came back 112 ng/ml and then my gp decided to order a ferritin test 4 days after I sent my cerascreen test in. The venous draw from hospital came back 19ng/ml. This is a huge discrepancy. I’m deficient but cerascreen test came back optimal.
In response to your response, I did not use venous blood for the cerascreen test I used a finger capillary blood. My problem is with the huge discrepancy between your finger capillary blood test and the venous test at the hospital both done within days of each other.

Please use only capillary blood. Since the blood tubes of venous blood usually have different coatings than ours, it is unfortunately not possible to use venous blood. Terrible!

Terrible!! It’s been over five weeks since I’ve seen in my results. After emailing three or four times to customer service they finally sent me my results which said I had no allergies to anything at all zero. Which I totally don’t buy. Then I set up an appointment to go over my results and nobody called me they totally missed our appointment. I could not give them a Lower Review

I will not recommend Cerascreen to…

I will not recommend Cerascreen to anyone. I order two different tests in June and now 3 month later I haven't received the test result for one of the tests. I have sent mail several times but still nothing. The first test was a metabolism test. And the answer was very strange, they have written the result as it was for everyone. A a lot of paper but nothing especially for you. Only some a few word that was specific for you. So don't waste your money on this test. There is so many other companies that does it so much better for less money.

Very efficient service.

Very efficient service for Vitamin order. Had to call customer service to query something and the phone was answered immediately (by a real person!), who dealt with the matter promptly. Item arrived superfast (the day after the order). Would definitely use again!

Useless unless you want to eat all 252 foods within 2 weeks.

Their website says 'eat a varied diet' but what they ACTUALLY mean is that if you have not eaten every single food on the allergy test within 2 weeks of taking the test that you'll get false negatives. This is incredibly useless if you are working through health issues. We paid almost $600 for garbage results and Cerascreens reply was just that we should have inferred from 'varied diet' that we would need to consume each allergen immediately prior to the test in order for results to be reasonable. Total scam. Don't waste your money.

In the food reaction test we measure the IgE and IgG4 antibodies that indicate food allergy and intolerance. These antibodies are formed as soon as a food is consumed that triggers an immune reaction in the body. Therefore, we recommend that you consume all the foods listed in the test within 2 weeks before the test, very small amounts are already sufficient.

This was a great experience

This was a great experience. I worked with the customer care team because of a small issue and they responded within a day. They took care of the issue and made sure that I had everything I needed.

Update:
They had the lab results back to me in 6 business days and they matched lab results I had done elsewhere.

Vitamin D test gave inaccurate results on 2 occasions

Earlier this year I did a vitamin D test which showed that my levels were low. I increased my daily maintenance dose per the supplied recommendations. 3 months later I ordered a second test but this showed my vitamin D levels to be even lower. I consulted with my GP who ordered tests. These tests came back "normal" (actually they showed elevated levels of vitamin D).

Moral of the story is that you cannot rely solely on these tests.

Unfortunately, there is no uniformly defined measurement procedure for Vitamin D. Therefore, each laboratory is free to decide which method it uses. For example, there are several evaluation methods for determining vitamin D levels which have been recognised as reliable methods in various studies and which hardly differ qualitatively. Nevertheless, there are differences in the methods, such as the speed of the evaluation and the defined tolerance ranges. This leads, among other things, to the fact that each laboratory has a scatter in the measurement results. Unfortunately, this can lead to very different measurement results overall. Consequently, only comparisons between identical test procedures and test conditions make sense.

No guarantee for results

Test results are promised which are not kept. 3 of 4 tests could not be evaluated in the laboratory, although all 4 tests were carried out correctly according to the instructions and were sent on the correct day. The reason was that the tests by Cerascreen arrived too late in the external laboratory. However, as a customer, I cannot influence this. It is therefore a matter of luck whether the tests arrive in the laboratory on time. It is possible that after 3 weeks you will simply receive a message that the tests cannot be evaluated. You then get a free replacement, but I don't think it's professional that as a customer you wait over a month for a test and at the end only get a replacement test instead of a result. According to Cerascreen, this happens very rarely. Maybe I just had bad luck.

I received a refund from one of the seller directly. That means 50% refund. I lost 50% of my payment.

Horrible experience! Be aware!

Horrible experience!
I sent my samples almost 2 weeks ago and still didn’t got any results. The test is from the 21.07!
When they got the samples they claimed that in 2-3 work days you will get the results but 2 weeks has been done and nothing.
When I complained they offered me 50% back and when I told them it doesn’t make any sense and that I want full refund there isn’t any response!
Not worth it!

Update-
After the company and the Data privacy officer ignored my emails I opened a dispute in the EU dispute center and of course Cerascreen ignore also from them.
After I called them they finally answered and only claimed that they will refund me.
Still no DPA provided as I asked.

Don’t waste your money, pointless.

Got an email to say blood sample received and test results available in 1 Business day…. Now day 15 of waiting, no results, no contact. Terrible, will never use them again. Complete waste of time and money.
