Cerebral has helped continue my medication needs through a convenient online experience. I previously worked with local medicaid clinics, but needed a different solution after losing medicaid, and Cerebral was able to continue where my previous prescriber left off.

Excellent Experience
My provider was wonderful. Very kind, in tune with what was going on and easy to chat with. She listened attentively and was quickly able to understand my needs and get me set up with some prescriptions. I really really like that Cerebral sends the Rx to you directly; for someone with depression it’s really helpful that I don’t have to add an errand! Very happy I found this.

Great Experience and Affordable!
My experience with Cerebral has been great! Both therapists I’ve had have been knowledgeable, compassionate, supportive, and empathetic. I also started medication therapy and I’m very satisfied with the intake/evaluation process to see whether it was a good option for me. I always felt like I was heard and all of my concerns were addressed. And it’s a lot more affordable than other places I’ve been to!

Great therapy option!!
As a social worker in mental health, I never really thought I’d be the one on the other side of the office. Over the past year, I struggled with a lot of mental health issues that I didn’t realize I had until the spiral started. In only a couple months, my therapist has been able to identify my problematic thoughts and behaviors, teach me skills to improve my life, and call me out on my BS when needed. Cerebral has been a lifesaver for me. My only issue is they don’t accept my insurance so I have to pay out of pocket. Other than that, I highly highly recommend!!

Five stars all across the board!
Being able to select from multiple therapists and choosing a time to meet based on my needs makes the daunting task of starting therapy much easier. My therapist and prescriber are knowledgeable and easy to reach if I have questions or concerns. The platform itself is very easy to use. I am so thankful for Cerebral.

It took me years to finally decide to begin therapy because I have trust issues and abandonment issues. I found a therapist who I love through cerebral. He was able to help me learn to start loving myself again. He helped me navigate some very low points. It worked well for a few months. The end user experience is fairly positive, although there are some times where app navigation is a little unintuitive.
All of that became irrelevant when I met with my therapist a few weeks back to discover that he had been let go as a result of a couple of 3 star reviews that were probably filled out by a manic patient. It's nice to know that your ability to brag about an overall rating of 4.8 or 4.9 to compete with growtherapy and other platforms which also do the same is more important than considering your clients' needs and just how destabilizing it can be to take somebody who finally got into therapy and trigger all of those trust and abandonment issues by shit canning her therapist.

Excellent Mental Health Service.
My therapist gets right to the core of my issues. She helps me see through the emotion to the thoughts causing the feeling, and teaches me how to combat those thoughts. My prescriber is amazing. I can't remember the last time I felt so calm and happy.

Therapists provide the care, Cerebral provides a service that connects patients with that care
Cerebral does not provide the quality online counseling. The therapists do. Cerebral makes it hard to continously get that care because their goals don't fully align with the therapists who provide the excellent care. Thanks to policy changes, I have to either leave Cerebral to follow the care of my therapist, or switch therapists. Both have proven to be a bit traumatic and unnecessary. Also the communication directly from Cerebral is lacking empathy and basic customer care protocol.

There's no Shame in my Mental Health…
There's no Shame in my Mental Health Game! I was a mental wreck, during the pandemic dealing with anxiety as well as other concerns I finally had to give into the stigma... I needed Mental Aid and Assistance. I didn't want anyone to know.. My very first time reaching out to Cerebral I felt a warmth, a calmness that I am not alone and that they are here to help n they've Done Just THAT! The staff is AMAZINGLY PATIENT. I've been a patient of Megan Kenny for several years... She has not skipped a beat every appointment every conversation.. at one point I'd said Forget,.. I can't do this... after several months of absence.. I came back and she was right there ready to get me back on Track.. I have love for My Care Team.. We're Family Now I have and will continue to share and spread the word about Cerebral with family friends.... Happier Days Are Ahead

On my first visit my provider listened to my concerns and worked with me to find a treatment that would work. She was kind and knowledgeable. The process was so easy. I was able to pick up my meds from a local pharmacy the same day.
