Sadly underwhelmed

I choose Cewe because of the high rating but I actually found it difficult to use, not easy to change the layout, not easy to view the final version, no quality control so some of my photos weren’t great quality but there were no notifications and I also had a duplicate but this wasn’t mentioned. It was delivered couple of days later than the initial advised date despite paying an additional delivery fee, overall not impressed and have had a better experience on cheaper competitors, this was a wedding album but overall results were disappointing.

small flaws noticable in every print…

small flaws noticable in every print mid top, some printing issue with my 6x4, not very noticable but still there....surprised CEWE havent addressed this issue yet..my first time using them, but not a great start, packaging and dispatch was great.

Damaged frame

The print was done well, but unfortunetly the frame was damaged during transit as the picture wasnt wrapped in bubble wrap, just in cadboard and zipties. I emailed CEWE and sent pictures but no one replied to my complaint. For this reason, i would not recommend.

Edit: I have forwarded the email and pictures again as requested, still no reply. Amazing your "customer care team" can reply to negative reviews on trustpilot but not to emails.

Picture was cut.

I ordered about 100 photos and many of those were cut out of the picture that wasn’t nice.it’s kind they put zoom on the picture and then printed it.

1st experience was great, 2nd not so good...

The photobook I made was great and easy to do. The pictures looked slightly darker on the finished product than the originals. I went to make another one, as the first one was so easy to do and that's where the problems started!
It will only allow me to go back so far on my photos so I can't upload all the ones I wanted. I then created a separate folder in Google photos of the pictures I wanted to upload and tried that. It didn't work. After trying that a few times, I uploaded them in smaller batches which seemed to work but when it brought he back to the layout section, none of the pictures were showing. I've spent about 2 hours trying this multiple times and in the end I just gave up as I was getting no where. It's a pity as the first book I made was very easy to do. I've uninstalled the app, rebooted my phone etc but it's not made any difference.

The quality of the photograph i…

The quality of the photograph i received from your Company was totally unacceptable.
As well as that the efforts I have made to resolve the issues have been dragging on and on and still I have not got it resolved.
I have paid €31.99cent for tje photograph and I have nothing to show for it.

I have looked into this for you and can see that you ordered an image in a large poster format. The image was stretched significantly and printed with poor quality. You kindly provided a photo of how it appeared in the software before ordering, and this clearly shows a large warning triangle indicating that the quality was very poor and would not look good when printed at such a large scale.

Regardless, we investigated this with our production team and reprinted the poster with the automatic image correction turned off to see if this would help. Unfortunately, the quality became even worse with the reprint. We contacted you on 02.10.25 to inform you that we were investigating, and again on 06.10.25 to explain how poor the reprint quality was. We offered to cancel the reprint and refund your order in full, as there is nothing further we can do to improve this. We also suggested selecting a different photo or choosing a much smaller poster size.

We have not yet received a response from you. Please reach out at your earliest convenience to let us know if you would like us to proceed with this action.

Feedback on Album Print Quality

I really liked the album, especially because of how easy it was to design it on the website, the wide variety of models and sizes available, and the punctual delivery. However, I was quite disappointed with the print quality.

When using the editor, it showed me the limit of how much I could enlarge the images. My photos were taken by a professional photographer and are in high resolution. While creating the album, I followed the guidelines to ensure the photos would remain sharp. Still, in the final product, including the cover, which was particularly disappointing, the print quality was not as expected, as the pixel grid is visible on the photos.

Had I known this would happen, I would have ordered a smaller album with higher print quality instead. I would like to know what can be done about this issue.

That said, I really enjoyed using the website and do intend to create more albums in the future, being more mindful of the print quality.

Disappointing outcome but good service

Unfortunately, my initial experience wasn't good, but the support team were very good in dealing with it.
My print was held up and not collected by the courier, so I had to chase up on it after the due date. It was sent out promptly, but I had already missed the reason I ordered it. The black and white print had a green hue to it, but we have identified that the AIO feature may have caused that, so it should be turned off for B&W. It was also cropped, so requires 3mm bleed (which wasn't evident from the ordering process and was a further disappointment).
The support team did resolve all the issues well, so I may try them again in the future.
