Beware! They will ask for you private info.

They accept both cash and crypto but will not let you transfer out crypto unless you complete their enhanced verification and provide them complete information from your source account (wallet). They just keep asking for more info. Must be a scam. The only way to get your crypto is to liquidate and you have to pay a 5% fee! An expensive scam!

This is the worst Crypto platform I…

This is the worst Crypto platform I have ever dealt with.
I had originally deposited $140
My bank account was hacked so my bank account was shut down. It will not allow me to send money to someone else's wallet. It won't let me withdraw my money to any of the cards I've put in there. Their support is no help whatsoever. My account is now down to $99 just from trying to get my money back. I want a full refund and some help from this company

COMPLETE SCAMMERS

COMPLETE SCAMMERS, BEWARE!

They have very shady practices and zero communication with the customers.

The current ongoing scam is with some Telegram BS where they are trucking people into paying money for non-existent virtual currencies and when asked legitimate questions they just ban you from the group so that the scam can keep going.

You have been warned!

Bad treatment from this exchange app. I'm really not impressed by the lack of transparency displayed by this company. I would not suggest anyone buying any crypto from this shady app as my money has been stuck with them for weeks with any resolution. Kindly avoid them and save your money. Like my mom said "Go to Morewins, way less issues, better customer support, better company.

Funds Blocked – No Response from Support for Over a MonthI have been a loyal CEX.IO customer…

I have been a loyal CEX.IO customer since 2018 and have always been satisfied with their service - until recently.
However, my cryptocurrency assets have been blocked solely because I hold a Russian passport, despite the fact that I have not lived in Russia since 2021.

I legally resided in Cyprus from 2021 to 2023 and have been legally residing in Armenia since 2023.
I provided all requested documents to prove my residency, including my Armenian work permit and a notarized translation of my passport.
Despite multiple attempts to contact support and repeated follow-ups, I have been waiting for a response for over a month now, with no resolution in sight.

Since CEX.IO is a regulated entity, I will escalate this issue to the FCA and FOS in the UK if I do not receive a response within a week from the date of this review.

Discriminating against users based on nationality rather than actual residency status is unacceptable.
I urge CEX.IO to review my case fairly and grant me access to my legally owned funds.

Title: 🚨 Beware of CEX.IO – Lack of Transparency & Shady Practices 🚨

I had a highly concerning experience with CEX.IO that has completely eroded my trust in this platform. While they market themselves as a secure and regulated exchange, their internal handling of funds raises serious red flags.

🔴 Fund Mismanagement? – It appears that CEX.IO has the ability to reallocate crypto between user accounts without any trace on the blockchain since all assets are held in their custody. This means they have full control over your funds and could move them without your knowledge.

🔴 Lack of Transparency – Their internal ledger is not visible to users, making it impossible to verify whether your crypto is truly safe. Unlike decentralized exchanges, where transactions are visible on-chain, CEX.IO operates in a black box.

🔴 Slow Withdrawals & Excuses – Many users (myself included) have faced suspicious withdrawal delays with generic responses from support like “security checks” or “technical issues.” This raises the question: Are they fully liquid, or are they manipulating balances?

🔴 Risky to Trust Your Crypto Here – If an exchange can move funds between accounts internally, what’s stopping them from misallocating assets or covering up financial issues? At best, this is poor risk management, at worst, potential fraud.

🚨 Final Verdict: Avoid CEX.IO if you care about transparency and security. Stick with exchanges that provide proof of reserves and ensure your assets are fully backed. If you must use a centralized exchange, withdraw your funds immediately after trading to protect yourself.

🔹 Would I recommend CEX.IO? ❌ No. 1/5 Stars.

Is Cexio for real?

Is Cexio for real? Like most people I can't get money out (or convert)
I am in the UK so have to use their 'wallet'

I am trying to convert or withdraw some ETH but everything results in:

"Something went wrong. Please give us a few moments while we fix the issue."

Lots of people get this error. I have reported it but like most people there is no reply from their support. Have any real people got CEXIO to work? Anyone got money out?
