I'm beyond thrilled!!! Wow! The quality of my hard cover books look and feel high quality. It feels a little like velvet texture but is a matte finish look. Brilliant story lines, excellent illustrations. My personalised message was printed correctly. Important mention: I placed my order for two different story books last week. I also clicked on the express delivery option to have my books delivered before Christmas. Also, I changed my mind 2 days later and emailed the company to change the book covers to the hard cover type option. Timothy was very prompt with communication and told me I would receive my books on the 17th of December with my express delivery option. To my suprise, I just received my order today. Bare in mind that this company is based in Port Elizabeth I believe, and I'm in Gauteng. I got my delivery 3 days earlier than the expected date and it only took 1 week in total from placing an order to being delivered from one province to another. I am such a happy customer. Will definitely continue to order more books from this company! Continue shinning Characterful. Keep up the great service delivery, customer service and quality of products! Love it!

I have bought three books so far and they are all amazing!

The ease of creating a book was a nice experience.

The story line and illustrations were excellent.

Unfortunately the customer service was pathetic.

Personalized book was ordered as a birthday gift for my 6 year old. However did not arrive on time. My kid was very sad on her birthday.

When it did arrive a week later there were misprints on most of the pages with some pages dedicated to my kid and others of another customers kids.
This led to more disappointment.

Characterful did replace the book at no extra charge but was another 10 day wait for my kid.

I requested numerous times on email for Charecterful to contact me on my mobile to discuss further. Up till today no phone call received.

This is an expensive book you would expect the customer experience to match the price.

If you do place an order rather place an order 2 months in advance to avoid any disappointment.
