As I am an older person my computer…
As I am an older person my computer skills are close to useless so trying to order through the website is problematic for me. In that case I find ordering by phone much easier. The staff I have dealt with have always been very pleasant and knowledgeable and willing to help. Chards prices are very competitive and if you want a specific product they will notify you when it is in stock. I am very satisfied with all aspects of Chards that I have used. I can say if you are thinking of purchasing precious metals or coins get in touch with Chards and talk to them, you will only get helpful advice. My last order was easy and arrived promptly along with some complimentary sweeties which pleased my wife very much. Even though the value is good
Even though the value is good, it takes at least three times for us trying to pay online for it to be successful. That causes online banking problems for us this end. Despite paying premium postage, it can still take 4-5 days to arrive. And charging for a capsule. Really?

In relation to the payment issues you encountered, this is typically due to additional security checks introduced by card providers. Many banks now require a verification code or extra
authentication step to protect their customers, and it appears this process may have been where the difficulty occurred. We completely understand how inconvenient this can feel, but these measures are in place to keep your transactions safe.
Regarding delivery, we take great pride in ensuring every order goes through thorough quality checks and is carefully packed before despatch. Our orders are currently despatched within 2 working days, although this can take longer for orders placed over a bank holiday. If you are ever hoping for an earlier despatch, you are more than welcome to leave us a note at checkout and we will check with our despatch department to accommodate your request
In terms of capsule charges, we take a transparent approach so customers can clearly see exactly what they are paying for. By keeping items such as capsules and postage separate, we are able to maintain some of the lowest premiums on our products. This approach benefits many customers, particularly those who choose to store items with us or do not require additional packaging, as they are not paying for extras they do not need.
We always take customer feedback seriously, both to support individual improvements and to help us deliver a better experience for everyone who shops with us.

Bought a pre-owned Sovereign “Minty” coin from Chards and very happy with it. The coin arrived exactly as described, in excellent condition with strong details and great lustre. Packaging was secure and delivery was smooth and professional.
What I like most is that you can get a high-quality Sovereign close to bullion pricing while still having a collector feel. Chards also had clear photos and honest grading, which gives confidence when buying pre-owned gold online.
Would definitely buy again for both stacking and collecting.
