I ordered on the 13th November with a 4-5day delivery. I didn’t hear anything for over 2 weeks and zero communication to say they had been shipped. I called 6 times and call was cut off each time. I then spoke to someone who said they would call me back, which they didn’t. I raised a dispute via PayPal and the next day I had an email, and they arrived 2 days later. They apologised for the delay and said it was due to a system fault but reading other reviews it appears this is a common issue.

Paid and absolutely nothing received after a long waiting.
Luckily i paid with PayPal and was easy to get the money back.
But, don't get scam too!

Absolutely useless company waited over a month for some safety boots wow. I’ve ordered a new car and it’s only taken a month to come. What a joke of a company! Spend your money else where

Placed an order on the 25th October, it's now the 27th November & order still showing in progress. I've since sent two messages through their website contact form & called their 3rd party customer service team twice, who say they will pass on my message & someone will call me back but no one ever does. If you are reading this then I suggest you look somewhere else for your safety wear.

Boots arrived out the blue & over a month late with no correspondence, 1 additional star generously awarded because the boots are excellent quality & just what I was after.

Waited 3 weeks so far and still no boots arrived. Website states 4-5 days delivery. Useless call centre say they will call me back every time I enquire about it however they don’t. Don’t use this company.

Do not use this company they are a joke, ordered my boots, paid for 1 to 2 day delivery, 2 weeks later still no boots, emailed 3 times, rang countless number of times, constantly told someone would call me back still waiting for the call back, absolute joke, and all the time they have your money, don't use them

These people are thieving scammers. They take your money and don't supply the goods. When you call their 'customer service ' number they are useless and pointless, they say they can only take your details and pass it on and someone will get back to you, but of course no one does.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Finally received my boots after about a 3 1/2 week wait. When I finally got through to the company I talked to Jane who assured me they would phone me back the same day….and Jane did. She explained the unfortunate situation with their new ordering system and assured me I would receive my boots in a few days….and I have, so thanks to Jane for her customer service.
Sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan in this ‘must have now’ world.

If I could give them a 0 I would! Ordered boots 3 weeks ago and still haven’t received them.
Phoned and emailed just get the same response someone will contact within 24 hours but they don’t!
They should be shut down!

Absolute joke of a company. Been waiting since October for my boots still not arrived. Have been calling there number & like most people have said customer service just pass on message & nobody has got back to me. Tried cancelling the order but they said I have to wait until boots arrive before I can get my money back. They do not deserve a star at all on here. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

I echo everything that has been said, I ordered a pair of safety boots a month ago with a 4/5 day delivery expectation, after 2 weeks I sent an email and contacted the company, only to get a 3rd party call centre. They were as helpful as can be but have absolutely zero influence and ultimately email Charnwood requesting they call you, that call never happens. After 5 more calls I eventually got through to Charnwood direct and was guaranteed delivery earlier this week… I’m still waiting!! I’ve given up with trying to contact them and have requested a refund via my credit card company. I would stay well clear and advise not to order from this company unless you are sadistic and like pain.

Products are not in stock and if you need to get a refund for any reason - Good luck! Will probably have to go to your card provider or paypal and ask them to step in.

Do not order from this company. Support lines are operated by a 3rd party company who don't call back. They are yet to refund me on a return I sent back to them in July and after calling over 10 times and at least 5 emails sent, I'm yet to receive a response. I've reported them to the trading standards.

Don’t buy from these. I placed a order on the 6th oct and they have never sent me my purchase. I emailed and called and No1 ever gets back to you. I had to put a dispute in with the bank in the end to get my refund. Don’t make the same mistake I made

Criminally bad. They take your money and don't send your order! No response to e-mail or phone calls. Do not give these thieves your money. I will be requesting a refund via my credit card company and reporting them.

I ordered 3 pairs of safety boots. 2 pairs came in a decent time frame with a note saying the order was incomplete. I assumed this would be sorted and the remaining pair would be sent within the next few days. I emailed asking where the other pair of boots were but no response. After a week with still no sign of the boots I called them and got a response saying the boots were not in stock but they could send us the orange version instead which I accepted. The orange versions came a week later.

I had to wait for these to arrive before I could send back one of the pairs which did not fit.

I sent them back had and had a confirmation email that they had been returned on the 19th sept.

On the 26th September having still not received a refund I emailed asking when I could expect the refund. Tried calling but it goes out to an 3rd party answering machine company. Sent another email 2nd October this was also ignored.

Still no refund over over a month later. I will try to get the refund back through trading standards

Please avoid these at all costs

This company is a big scam. I ordered safe Timberland shoes two weeks ago, I still don't have them. I wrote e-mails and called, no one answered. I asked for a refund and there was complete silence. It's a joke, I lost my money but I have lessons for the rest of my life. Read opinions before purchasing. Stay away from this company

Waited nearly three weeks for what was meant to be a 4-5 day delivery and the boots still haven’t turned up. The customer support is just an outsourced company where they explain they just send messages too Charnwood and can not give any information you may require on the delivery. PLEASE do not use this company…. They are a scam!!!!

Charnwood footwear is a disgrace of a company I ordered some boots over 2 weeks ago, they took immediate payment and I was told boots would be delivered within 3-5 days well no boots still 2 weeks later. You can’t get through to the company your put through to a switch board that can only take messages and pass on they will not provide any contact details for company, I have phoned and emailed several times I received one email stating boots on way but complete lies. Do not trust what you see on internet they look very organised and official when you visit web site but please don’t be fooled they are complete crooks with no regard for customers or taking your hard earned money. Please do not buy from this company I will be contacting trading standards
