I called Charterhousemobility for a bed on behalf of my mother who was struggling to sleep due to COPD , first of all the service from start to finish has been flawless the gentleman who did the demonstration was extremely knowledgable and put my mother at ease. Although there is no cure for which she has my mother has managed to sleep longer throughout the night. Would highly recommend this company. Thankyou again

Great Service top to bottom
We Contacted Charter house for my elderly grandfather last month and all i can say is what a wonderful experience it was top to bottom, he's very pleased with the end result it was very important to him to have a British made chair and specifically something that he can raise his legs due to pain he experiences - which this chair has helped with. we will probably be back for my other half's parents in around a year.

Stop preying on the vulnerable
Your sales team member preyed on my elderly relative and wouldn’t take no for an answer, pressurising them to write a cheque for £3,850 there and then! Luckily a family member happened to arrive unexpectedly, and prevented the sale going any further!
What disappoints me the most, was the sales person miraculously offered a further £1,200 discount after being rumbled!
Maybe you should offer that lower discounted price straight away, as you are obviously making enough margin at that price.
Can I suggest also that you are more considerate, insisting a family member or neighbour is present when demonstrating a product to someone who lives alone.
Please stop preying on the vulnerable!

Best company for furniture by a mile
From start to finish there was not any problems at all. Every body was courteous when dealing with us. When I wanted to pay for the chairs by bank transfer instead of over the phone, there was not any problem. The chairs my wife and I purchased are top notch and worth every penny. I know that some people would say they are expensive, but they are worth every penny and then some.

Excellent service in all areas
All the staff were very helpful in helping my 91 year old mum & dad get just what was needed and quickly so dad could come home from hospital.
They bought a double adjustable bed with separate mattress controls. The bed was assembled by the lovely delivery people.
Adam at customer services was also fantastic at helping.
Overall very satisfied and highly recommend

The demonstration was not only helpful,but the demonstrater was very informative about every aspect of the chair for my husband .We were under no pressure to buy but are glad to have done so.My husband was suffering a lot with legs and feet swelling ,but since getting the chair his ankles are back to normal.It is worth every penny you only get what you pay for.Thank you charterhouse.And thank you to the young men who delivered it .

From the very beginning the service was first class. The demonstrator who visited first was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail. He did not pressure us in any way and was a very likeable young man. He took many measurements and told us how long the order would take. The two chairs were delivered well within the expected time and the two delivery men were extremely polite, careful and made sure that we knew exactly how to operate the chairs. They did not leave until we were completely happy with the product. The service we have received from charter house has been first class and we are now happily reclined in our chairs.we would not hesitate to recommend them to others who may be interested.

A good friend of ours passed away recently. We were sorting out her effects and found the invoices from charter house mobility for a reclining chair and an adjustable bed which totalled over £7000 which were purchased in November 2023. I do feel that you prey on elderly, vulnerable people and take advantage of the fact that she had cash she could pour into your coffers. Shame on you.

When a home demonstration is arranged, we always ask if they would like a family member or friend to be present for the appointment and there is absolutely no pressure or obligation to purchase from us. All of our representatives are highly trained to give their expert guidance on our products and the benefits they provide, and it is the decision of the individual if they wish to proceed with the order.
All of our furniture is bespoke and individually made for a person's specific needs and choices. Not only do our products greatly improve the quality of life for many individuals and make a tremendous difference to their wellbeing, but we also assist those who require our help in enabling them to be as comfortable as possible during end of life care.

Great service and great product . The gentleman who was the senior demonstrator , Mark . One of the first things he said when he came into our lounge, was ‘I can see the chair you are sitting in is far too deep for your height. ‘ He went on to explain how the chairs are all custom made and built in the uk 🇬🇧, so that the fit is perfect and comfortable. Well as I have arthritis throughout my body , especially my spine ,neck and hips , it is difficult to find a truly comfortable chair .
So I am delighted to say my chair is perfect, so comfortable, I have wasted a lot of money before buying this chair , on other ones that after a few months, made my back and neck very uncomfortable and in pain. So I can truly recommend this company .

Excellent service from first home visit & demonstration. The products are definitely hi end quality & not the usual poor quality examples on the market for £500.
If you want to buy cheap & nasty Charter House are not for you. Each chair is tailor made & built to EXACT dimensions. Hi Quality German built motors that are virtually silent. Fabric choices are extensive. Overall pleased with my quote & proceeded to order.
