DO NOT EVER USE CHATDEAL!!!
Chatdeal booked a flight for me from KC to Berlin. Lufthansa cancelled my flight from KC to Newark and Frankfurt to Berlin and Chatdeal never informed me. I showed up to my flight in Kansas City, and it did not exist. Lufthansa worked with me to transfer everything so that I could get to Berlin on time to run in the BMW Marathon. This cost me $787 and getting into Berlin 8 hours later than intended.
I have since been in contact with Chatdeal and bounced around in circles, lied to multiple times, hung up on, not responded to, you name it. They claim they will not cover the additional money because I used the ticket and booked it myself. However, I would have never had to do this if Chatdeal had simply informed me that my flights were cancelled. I even provided proof from Lufthansa that they informed Chatdeal of the cancellation, and at that point Chatdeal stopped communication with me. They have absolutely no desire to right their wrong.
DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM. IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!!!
In response to Chatdeal's response...Lufthansa confirmed that Chatdeal was notified of my flight cancellation 14 days prior (so two weeks before July 28th) and my flight was Sept. 22nd. They never informed me and completely screwed me over. They are blatantly lying in their response after I sent them Lufthansa's email confirming they were informed of the cancellation.
