The description of the company and the condition of the bicycles is straightforward, however, I think the bicycle's condition looked worse despite the upfront information that you are not going to be receiving the best-looking bikes. It functioned fine. A notification to the customer after purchasing the bicycle would be an improvement.

Great experience. The communication was fluid and quick. The bike that I originally ordered was not available, so I was offered a more expensive bike which was even better with a free lock included! The bike was delivered promptly and rides really well.

I’m very disappointed with my experience.

The delivery itself was fine and on time, but when the bike arrived, both tire valves were left without protective caps and appeared open. I hadn’t even used the bike yet I simply stored it in my building hallway after delivery. The next day, the rear tire was completely flat.

When I took it to a local bike shop, they found that the valve was damaged and had to be replaced. So before even riding the bike once, I had to pay for a repair out of pocket.

For a brand-new bike, this is unacceptable. Basic checks should be done before shipping to ensure the product is in proper condition. A damaged valve on arrival suggests poor quality control.

I hope the company takes responsibility for this issue and improves its pre-delivery inspections.

The bike arrived fast, but stating that it is "completeley mechanicly overhauled" is a bit of overstatement. On my bike wheels still go in 8, there is weird clicking in few gears and you can definetly feel the wear. I guess this depends from bike to bike, but wheels is one thing that they could have fixed before sending it.

I recently purchased a bike from this website, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. The price was fantastic—definitely one of the best deals I found after comparing several options. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding. They were friendly, responsive, and made sure all my questions were answered quickly.

The bike arrived on time and in perfect condition. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with both the product and the service. Highly recommended!

Good service and delivery. the bike is also in very good condition, giving 4 stars because they could have done a bit more with the minor things during the refurbishing - like gluing the cracked parts

The adjustable handle bar mechanism was broken and the handle bars kept moving as I would ride which was unsafe. I had to take it to a shop for the handle bars to be replaced. The company did not respond to any of my messages about the issue.

Update: A week after initially reaching out, and 1 day after posting my initial review, they responded to my message. By that time I had already taken the bike to a shop to be repaired which cost me €87. Cheapassbikes offered to reimburse me under the terms of the 30 day warranty. Shortly after that, the back tire was flat so I took it the shop again and they said the tire was obviously old and worn and was only a matter of time before it was going to go flat. Again, Cheapassbikes promptly agreed to reimburse me for the €71 repair.

After all this, I've changed my initial rating from 1 star to 3 stars. The inconvenience of taking the bike to the shop multiple times and general state of the bike upon purchase prevents me from giving a higher rating than 3. However, the ease of purchasing and delivery was great and the customer service was eventually very responsive and helpful (after I posted a negative review) and they did promptly honored their 30 day warranty which are positives.

The buying experience with Cheapassbikes was hassle free and they communicated any issues with the order upfront. Honest salesmen and good value for money product.

very good stuff

Recently, I purchased a bike from Cheapassbikes. I was quite desperate to find a bike, as the second-hand bikes in the specialized shops in my area didn't fit my height (189cm).
So I decided to try my luck in this webshop. I ordered my bike on Thursday evening, and on Sunday, I received a WhatsApp message about the expected delivery date (I live outside of Rotterdam, so that was expected).
The bike I received is in perfect condition, much better than I expected. So far, there have been no issues.

Great service, great communication, great bike - fully recommend!
