Full of lies and they will charge regardless of collecting bins or missed to collect bins

Don't call us, we'll call you (when we can be bothered!). Missed collections, wrong invoices, ignorant customer service .... where do they get off?!?

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT EVERY COST!

The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to come across. I'd give no stars if that was an option. They don't collect your bin and yet continue to charge you. You try to call Customer Services and after pressing 1 for this, 2 for that, you finally get through to someone (shortest wait time I have ever had is 34 minutes so be prepared to wait)! Whilst Customer Services say they'll investigate the problem and you feel you have got somewhere, no one actually does anything after you've put the phone down. I've lost count at the number of emails and calls I've made. No one takes responsibility to help you. I've been trying to cancel our order since February... we're now end of June. Best of luck to you if you proceed to work with them.

This is a scam company. Numerous issues from day 1. Main issue - will fail to provide a regular service, outright lies and will say a collection is made when it is not. Difficult to leave contract, provides no service, lie after lie, corrupt company. Company has been reported to Watchdog. Avoid at all expense. Go directly to a bin provider, not this fraudulent intermediate.

Absolutely awful, please do not use this business. They do not reply to any emails and do not care about any issues you have - whilst they take more money from your direct debit.

We have had constant issues since we got the bins in October with missed collections and random overweight charges. Some weeks our bins are not collected and then they send us an invoice to say it was 50kg overweight! I have had to cancel my direct debit to stop them taking the money from my account.

This whole time I have been trying to get our bins collected less as we hardly use them but I cant as my account is flagged for being overweight! Most fortnights it just has a couple of bin bags in it!

Our bins have not been collected now for over 2 months. Thats 5 missed collections and they are still not full. Cheaperwaste are trying to say that some fortnights it was 81kg!!!!! Scam artists!

Such a scam company they don’t have a good service, avoid, stay away from this company.

This is one of those nasty companies you need to avoid with a barge pole. They will bill you for missed collections. Their renewal terms are cunning as their daily operations.

Please stay away from this company, do not sign any agreements. any 5 star reviews will be fake

This company is appalling. They do not deliver a service - I've had my bins collected only four times since last November. They refuse to cancel my account and tell me I have to wait until the end of my contract date. They rarely acknowledge emails, their online messaging system doesn't work and the phones can take an age to get answered.

Wish this company on your worst enemy if you hate them that much. Otherwise, steer a wide berth.

By far the worst company to deal with! I have been with CW over a year and the service has been horrendous. Missed collections and even taking my bins for a supplier change with no warning then leaving me 6 weeks with no bins at all and food waste rotting at my business yet continued to charge me!!
They left me with dirty sanitary and nappy bins for 12 weeks at a time when I pay for fortnightly collections and then charge for excessive weight on the bins when the collections have been missed.
They charge extra costs with no warning and price increases.
They bully you into paying them by DD when legally you can pay via bacs and this is offered on the invoice as an alternative payment option which is what I do after several DD issues and extra unauthorised charges added.
They put your account on stop if you challenge them or refuse to pay DD even though my bills are paid in full on time even when they haven't collected.
Check out the real reviews on Google and Facebook groups that have thousands of unhappy customers all experiencing these same issues.
Wish I'd checked them before signing up!!!

I’ve had a small contract for offensive waste removal for the best part of a year with this company. I’ve read through lots of other reviews and I can’t relate to them at all.
I’ve never had any additional charges applied for my collection. The driver has always called the day before or the morning of the collection to let me know he was coming and turned up when he said he would. (I had to ask for them to do this).
I particularly found Dan (customer care manager) helpful in ending my contract. All I can suggest is that people thoroughly read through the small print of any contract before signing - but you’re all adults and should be doing that anyway!

Given false information during our set up and wasn’t told about excess weight charges. It was a whole lot cheaper and better service with the council

Avoid at all costs. Simply a 'middle-man' company that will over charge and tie you into lengthy contracts. Useless and rude customer service. Just go direct with your local waste provider.

I signed a contract for just over £200 a month for waste removal, first invoice comes in at over £800. Completely different contract drawn up when questioned and now trying to take me to court for almost £4500 when not a single collection was made and everything was completely missold.

They also refuse to provide a copy of the sales call even after they instructed 2 different solicitors themselves to come after me for ‘termination costs’.

Also to add our bins should have been delivered within 7 days but took over 8 weeks for all to be delivered and continued to be delivered even after confirming with them we will not be continuing with the contract after the complete miss selling of their costs.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Should be ashamed of yourselves, I look forward to seeing you in court.

Please be very careful using this Company,after dreadful service which included numerous missed collections leaving rotting rubbish at our collection site we decided enough was enough & terminated our contract with Cheaper Waste,we now face court proceedings due to us breaching the contact!!
Please think twice before signing any contract with this very aggressive & extremely unprofessional Company.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. This company should be fully investigated by trading standards. If you’re a small business PLEASE DONT CONTRACT WITH THEM. They overcharge, lie, make up charges that aren’t originating from the actual waste collection companies and just dig into bank accounts via the open direct debit system. They make exiting the company almost impossible. They are currently changing name to WASTE MANAGED. Don’t transfer it’s the same company!

Missed collections and pictures of other people's properties. Cannot get hold of anyone to sort anything when issues are raised. Tried adding a food bin which i should have been offered from day 1, after weeks of me calling back they added it to my account without my knowledge and delivered the bin to somewhere that wasn't our property, added it to our invoice yet we hadn't been told it had been ordered or delivered!

Trying desperately to get us to change to waste managed but means a higher rate (apparently no hidden charges like cheaper waste which is a little late for us customers who didn't realise it was all about those added extras of excess weight and duty of care certificates charged for a free document anyone can download!)

When wanting to leave, even in light of their multiple mistakes and downfalls trying to charge us 43% of contract and bin fees (which we only have so many as they couldn't get us additional deliveries!)

Some agents will try to help but by this point the damage is done and honestly no amount of small credit for 1 bin (which they rightfully owe us as we didn't use cs we didn't have it nor were we made aware it was added to our account or delivered) will help!

Try any other service!

Scammers.
