Problems getting help...Check your Junk Email !

I purchased a M&S gift card on 23rd December to use that day and I could not open gift voucher ! I was going to use it for my Christmas food shop so had no choice had to put it on my M&S account especially at this time of year … still have to pay my my M&S account ! I did report the problem but thought no one responded..But I received a reply from Cheddar and they did respond to my problem but the email landed in my junk box ! Mustafa also sent a separate link and was I able to open the gift voucher so hallelujah 🙌 I had repeatedly tried to open it but the link solved the problem! So any problems good idea to check your junk mail ! I have since had help and support from Mustafa considering it was around the holiday period !

Having had a look, I can see we actually replied to you on 23 December, the same day you contacted us, so we could help as quickly as possible. When we checked your M&S gift card, everything showed as active and working. Please note, (very rarely) gift cards can take a little longer to activate on the brand’s side, which can cause a delay in loading even though the card is valid. Usually the issue resolves itself after a few minutes.

Great for a little extra cashback

Had Cheddar for a while but kept forgetting to use it! Has come in super useful the past month doing Christmas shopping for a little extra unexpected cashback at some of my regular shops (even food shops like Tesco, Sainsburys & Morrisons) and always instant. Great friendly customer service too.

An app I think everyone should have on their device

I noticed this app being discussed on Reddit and since then I have become a dialy user. I easily save £5 or so a week on my groceries and it is so simple to use, with digital gift cards available instantly. Recently I bought a TK Max gift card as a moving in present for a friend and saved a fiver on that straight away. The app interface is really good and reminds of Monzo for its simplicity and ease of use. Highly recommend the app. It is a no brainier and really think everyone should be using it. I have been using for about a year or so.

Brilliant customer service and easy to use app

I’ve used Cheddar quite a few times now and honestly really like it. It’s such a handy app for buying gift cards and getting a bit back in the process.

The first 5-6 times I used it I had no issues at all, and the cards worked perfectly.

I recently had a small issue with one of my gift cards and reached out to support. They replied really quickly (within a couple of days) and sorted everything for me. They even went above and beyond with a little bonus, which I didn’t expect at all!

It’s really rare to get that kind of friendly and genuine customer service these days, so I just wanted to say thank you to the team. I’ll definitely keep using Cheddar. I can’t recommend it enough :)

Terrible customer service when things go wrong

Bought Gift Card which was unusable within minutes notified Cheddar via their form on the 20th of October 2025 today 3rd of November refund hasn't even been initiated despite several emails, next to impossible to reach anyone by phone managed to get through to the assistant CEO Luke issue still not resolved.
Cheddar do better.

Great cash back app

I have always really enjoyed using the cheddar app. You can get great savings on cash back in places that you actually shop in all the time. I love the fact that you can ‘gift’ gift cards to others users and I have had so much success with this app. The super boost function is great too. I recently had an issue with a gift card that didn’t work and cheddar managed to get me a full refund. I would definitely recommend this app.

Great customer service!

Easy to use app, getting cash back on purchases that I would have spend anyways, example: my weekly shop, visit to my local pub and gift vouchers for friends and family.
