Welcome to G A Chedd, we are a plumbing, heating & gas company based in Guildford and specialising in servicing, repairs and installation. Originally set up in 1980, G A Chedd became a limited company in 1993 and have grown from strength to strength. We currently have 4 engineers working for us, all highly experienced and qualified and bringing their own strengths to the business. For your peace of mind, we are Gas Safe Registered (no. 4573) and OFTEC Registered (no. C1626), covering all of our oil, gas & LPG heating services. We are also members of CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering) and are City of Guilds Qualified. For further peace of mind, we hold public liability insurance covering up to £5,000,000. Based in Guildford, we offer our services throughout Surrey, London, Hampshire and Sussex, working extensively in Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Godalming and surrounding areas. We offer a comphrensive range of services which include, but are not limited to, servicing, repairs, installations, power flushing and more.

First experience with G A Chedd ltd. Very impressed can’t fault them. They were reliable, professional, friendly and completed everything we asked. Can’t recommend them highly enough and would certainly use them again.

Efficient and fairly priced

This is only the second time i have used Chedd Ltd but i have been very impressed with the response to inquiries, work undertaken and fairness of charges. Will unquestionably use them again.

Thoroughly recommend

The engineer who did my boiler service and gas safety check was very competent, explained everything, arrived on time, neat & tidy - very happy !
Service from office very good.
Apparently a well-established firm who dont really need to advertise, hence you might not have already come across them.
Thoroughly recommend !

Fantastic Service

We have used Chedds for many years and have always been impressed with them. Josh and the team responded promptly to a leak under the sink which was resolved very quickly. Thank you for providing such a fantastic service

What an amazing service from the Chedd ltd

What an amazing service from the Chedd team. We had a new boiler fitted recently and I cannot fault the team, they were highly professional and TIDY!! After the very efficient fitting, I was given a comprehensive tutorial on my new boiler, which made me feel as though not only did I get top service but I knew what to do with the equipment if necessary. I would recommend Chedd Ltd over and over again and trust them for any boiler service needs. Great customer service, respectful and like I said TIDY!!! THANKS Chedd and Josh.

Great company

Great company. Responded next day to a problem with the system and fixed it on the spot. Also have fitted and maintained our boiler.
Communication always good and polite and helpful.
