Same bad experience here: fake advertisement photos, bait & switch, poor quality item sent to me, not as pictured.

I had to escalate my experience with this seller to a dispute on PayPal. Now I’m waiting for PayPal to resolve it for a 100% refund and I expect that ChicInDress should also pay any return shipping fees as they are in clear violation of FTC guidelines.

All the reviews on this company are correct! Ripoff; fake photos on their website; the actual product you receive is garbage; extremely low quality. I emailed them to try to get a refund; they told me to wear it anyway. The shipping address on the package is not legit; it is used as a return address and is there is no way to trace it find out where the products actually came from. I ordered a sweater and a 'coat', both looked beautiful on the site; the 'coat' is the most ridiculous looking thing; looks like a beginner made it in sewing class! The sweater can be worn but sheds like a dog!

Bad bad bad. Do not do it. I bought a jacket from them. It came with missing buttons and is made of a terrible flannel/felt type fabric. It is not lined and looks nothing like the photos. It isn't even worth $5. I am now out $46 and they won't allow me to return it. They sent an email telling me to wear it anyway. I've escalated to Paypal so we will see what happens.

DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! The clothing looks ABSOLUTELY nothing like the pictures. I was so excited about everything and am beyond disappointed. Not to mention, it took almost a month to get! The material and colors are not as seen on the website. The only thing that I would even consider wearing is a jacket I purchased that is cutting my circulation off. Buyers Beware!!

This company is not legit. Reviews on their product site are a scam. Product came and cheaply made, not quality, nothing elegant. Like others said if I return product might nhet lost etc. Do not buy anything from this site.

If I could give negative stars I would. I can’t believe it I didn’t google this company before ordering off Facebook. I paid 86.00 for cheap felt from China. The coat is NOTHING like the one I ordered. Oh and paid for express shipping 4 business days....it came 30 days later and that’s only because I told them I was going to go to my credit card company!!! Do not and I repeat do not buy from this company!!

This company is a big SCAM! My experience mirrors the other reviews I have read exactly - they refuse to return, say item will get lost in customs, offer $3 to keep item. I should have known better! I’m more mad at myself for being stupid enough to order from this company than anything else.

This company needs to be removed from FB.

I should know better, found them on face book! As soon I hit the purchase button I realized it was a China purchase! I emailed them immediately to cancel and they said my order was already to ship! No way possible! Do not buy from them!

Scam. Crap company. Crap material. DO NOT ORDER. I wouldn't even DONATE this crap to the homeless, ITS THAT BAD!!!!!

The only reason I gave them one star is I had to do that to proceed.
Buyer Beware!! Please do not order from this bogus company. I made the mistake and don’t want others to go through what I am.
First they suckered me into ordering 2 coat/jackets, then 2 sweaters. Pictures on site are cute but not what arrives.
They came from China and arrived very late.
The sizing and quality are terrible.
The coats are make of some kind of felt like you use in art class as a child. No lining, no tags, unfinished stitching, excessively long arms and boxy all around. I ordered small size.
The sweaters had a better material but also clownishly huge and boxy.
That isn’t even the reason I am writing this review! It is for the huge hassle they are giving me to return them. I have been emailing them for an address and they won’t give it to me.
They say: they shipped the size I requested so basically I am stuck with the purchase. (Which is not what there return policy states on their website).
I took pictures of the packages and the items which they required and still telling me to try on again and wear them as they did nothing wrong. So frustrating!! They did offer me a 20% off coupon for more ridiculous clown like poorly made clothes but I don’t want that.
I have filed with American Express and hopefully they can help me get this resolved.

I didn't like the quality of the clothes so I emailed their customer service and they are giving me the run around. They want me to take a picture of the items and the labels and then they will determine if I can return the items. Their return policy states I can return in 30 days. It's been 2 days. Why are they giving me a hard time? DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Zero stars - total fraud don’t buy from them . The jacket was a joke - looks like a 5 year old made it . And they won’t refund me . Do not buy from them .

like everyone else it's a scam. Jacket was made out of felt and two sizes to small. they told me to try it on again, it would meet my style. I'm reporting it to my credit card since it says simple returns and they won't return it. They also said it would have to go thru customs. and offered me 15% off next shipment. I don't think there will be a next shipment

Like others have said below, it's 100% a scam.

False advertising and the product you receive is an incredibly cheap copy, not the real deal.

They won't just refund you, you have to jump through hoops first and send the piece of crap item back to them at your cost, and if they "don't receive it", they won't refund you anything.

Can you guess where it's made?

Buyers Beware. Wish I would have found this site before I ORDERED. I ordered the jacket $45 usd. Site says they accept returns. I ordered a large but usually wear a US medium but wanted larger to layer. Arrived in small shipping bag wadded up. Made of cheap felt, very wrinkled and sewn poorly. The shoulders measured 14", not even a US small. Tried to contact for a refund. They aruged i got the size I ordered. Involved PayPal they wre no help. The company is in China, so i learned. They offrred me a $4.00 refund and said I could keep the Jacket. They told me if I tried to return , most likey will get lost in Customs. They have no intentions of refunding me! US Post office said it would cost $30 to return. Im out the money on this faud company. How are they allowed to do business here in the USA? SCAMMERS!!

Horrible experience-Do not order from this China-based company. You receive very poor quality material and craftsmanship. The material feels like a thick felt-like material from 1960 that is poorly sewn, not suitable for making modern clothing and NOTHING like the item was pictured. Horribly wrinkled with no way to iron, there is no shipping label, the company insist that you have to pay to return the item through customs to China if you’re unhappy.
When you Google the website most of the time you get “site unavailable” or “site unsafe” and I went by reviews from the ad on Facebook that once receiving the item I feel very certain we’re all bogus reviews. Very annoyed!!

Do not order from this company. As many of stated, the company is based in China. It took over a month to receive the product, no packing slip and the quality is not top notch. I ordered a shirt, jacket and sweater. The shirt was ill fitting and the jacket is a size too small. I emailed the company and they make returns so difficult that I am now stuck with the product. I wish I would have researched this company before ordering on an impulse. On a lighter note, the sweater fits great and will be wearing it a lot this winter.

Same as the other reviews. I received a very poor quality coat and returning it is impossible. Do not order from this company!!!

I ordered a month ago and my shipping was returned to sender, I asked for a refund and they want to charge me for shipping! For what? I didn’t get my order! Refund my money!!!
