Tickets were booked in April for first week of September departure. There will be emails sent to acknowledge the booking and disclaimer that the tickets will only be available and confirmed 15 days before departure. We were notified in end-August that the tickets were confirmed. On departure day, we confirmed again with the train reception desk if tickets were valid and all was a breeze after; just had to present valid passport to the train attendant before boarding.
