Sam was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. He left me to look around and choose the right car for me without any hassle at all. He was really friendly and patient explaining everything clearly with knowledge. Made my car purchase a lovely experience. Thank you.

Let me start this review of by stating something upfront, this is not a criticism of the people working at Chorley Nissan Preston. I want to be very clear that every time I have dealt with the employees of this branch of the Chorley Motor Group, they have been professional and courteous. They are doing the job to the best of their abilities in line with the direction given to them by the management and leadership of the organisation.
I bought a used car from them for my son back in September of 2024. The car was test driven by myself and the salesman advised me that the car had undergone a multi point inspection prior to purchase and it came with a used car warranty should anything go wrong. Happy with the car and the deal being offered, I bought the car and arranged to come and pick the car up a few days following the sale.
Upon picking the car up, the car drove approximately 2 miles and a series of warning lights appeared on the dash. These warning lights related to the Driver Assist Functions that were not available (LKAS, Radar Cruise, Collision Alert etc). I immediately turned the car around and drove back to the dealer where the salesman advised me that hey would have their mechanics look at the car, provided me with a courtesy vehicle and I went home.
The car was then returned to me with no indication of what had been done to resolve the fault. A short while later, the fault reoccured. The car was again returned to Chorley Nissan, a courtesy car provided and the car was then taken to Honda (Blackpool) for investigations and repair. The car was returned agin a short time later with no indication as to what was done to resolve the fault. At this time, as we had been in possession of the car under 2 months, I mentioned to the Sales Manager that we may look to return the vehicle as it was within the statutory time where the car could be returned with no undue process. Ultimately, it is my Son’s car and he wanted to keep it. With this in mind the car was returned to us on the understanding that the car had ben fixed.
Over the past 21 months, the car has been returned to Chorley Nissan a further 6/7 times, with no resolution of the underlying fault that was manifest on day 1 of purchase. The last time the car was in for repair for the same fault as it manifests in the car, I was advised that they had determined that the fault lies with a component that handily, is not covered by warranty and would cost me over £700 to have replaced. Now, I am no mechanic, but my job requires me to ascertain the unknown underlying root cause of problems, and if the same symptoms are presenting 21 months after the initial fault was reported, then there is a better than average chance that the root cause resolution would have been the same on day 1 as on month 21.
The fault has now re-occurred, less than a month after being advised that they are not going to cover the repair cost and I am left with little choice but to pay for the repairs myself. If I were a cynical man, I might draw the conclusion that knowing of my reluctance to keep the vehicle and if they could keep knowledge of the required fix from me for long enough, it would be harder for me to prove that the issue was there on day 1 and be unable to formally reject the vehicle after 2 years of ownership. without major cost and inconvenience to myself. Bear in mind, that in these 2 years, the car has done less than 6000 miles and has been fully serviced, at Chorley Nissan in line with the manufacturers schedule.
It is for this reason that Chorley Nissan gets my one star. I cannot in good faith recommend this dealership to anyone give their long history of procrastination and unwillingness to resolve the underlying issues with a car over nearly a 2 year period. As it stands, the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on, and the management of Chorley Nissan cannot be trusted to operate in good faith toward their customers. Again, the individuals working at the dealership in a customer facing capacity are excellent however, they are not making the decisions that have led to this review.

A truly positive experience! David Gore was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. A real credit to the company!
Incredible service from the start, Sam was a superstar in sorting everything, the car was quite far away and he organised everything from video calls, to sorting delivery and collection of the part exchange. customer service was top notch, delivery was quick and efficient and the car arrived spick and span, would 100% use them again.
Easy deal over the phone with Gareth who was a pleasure to deal with.

My Peugeot 5008 is just about to reach 10 year old.
It is due a Timing belt, Water pump & Antifreeze change.
I got a quote from 2 out of 3 Peugeot dealers closest to me.
They both quoted me £1300 for the job.
The third never answered the phone, when I dropped in,
I still did not get a quote after waiting 30 minutes.
I looked online and found a cheaper price on Chorley groups Peugeot site. Then the fun began.
I tried Chorley Peugeot in Wigan as they were closer.
They gave a price of £859 from memory, but would not match their website site price.
So I decided to contact their Blackpool branch.
Tim Jackson answered the call, he was busy and asked if he could call me later. I said ok no problem.
He called back an hour or so later, took the cars details and gave me a price of £859 ish.
I asked about their web site price, he looked online and matched their advertised price.
He sent an email confirming the price and date of booking. Got a text the day before to remind me of appointment.
So I arrived at 08.10am walked in meeting Tim at the service desk, he booked my car in, said that the toilets down the corridor and the Tea & Coffee Machine is over there etc. Pointed out the WiFi password and QR code.
A few other staff went past greeting me and being very polite, I think I was asked 3 or 4 times if they could get me a tea or coffee. As the weather was dreadful I was stuck there for near on 6 hours. I found a quiet alcove and did some paperwork, and watched a film on my IPad.
Popped out to get a sandwich at the local supermarket, came back with some donuts for them.
They were very much appreciated, lots of smiles.
So 30 mins before my car was ready, I was informed that it was on a test drive to make sure all was ok.
Then they would give it a wash and should be ready soon. I went up to desk where I was given an itemised invoice.
An explanation of exactly what had been done.
They even fitted a new auxiliary belt I had supplied.
Very nice of them I thought.
I was shown where my car was parked given my keys.
Everything was polite, efficient and with a smile.
I was very impressed with the dealership, clean, friendly welcoming staff, great facilities, very clean toilets.
5 stars all the way.
Highly recommend this dealership.

I just can't fault this dealership. They really went the extra mile for me. Lewis was great to deal with and I love my car. Thanks :-)

Dealt with many car dealers over the decades, these guys are a step up, no stress or pressure just 100% honest approach, made a refreshing change.
I dealt with Sean Black, he was a total pro and did the group proud, he was assisted with the handover by Jack who was equally as professional.
Just an overall good experience AAA+

Was very helpful in choosing my car give him 10 stars all round.
Friendly approachable .
Robert was excellent .Never felt pressured very relaxed and enjoyed having a good look at car and test drive. Only down side was after trying to ring the phone system is awful. Not sales team fault but frustration nearly lost the sale.
