I bought an oversized custom bone bridge / saddle from Chris via Ebay, to replace a ready made item that didn't fit my Ibanez acoustic properly (it leaned at a slight angle due to being too narrow). The bone saddle he made for me was exactly right, and as stated in the included instructions, very marginally over sized, so that I could sand it down a little to get an exact fit in the slot (sandpaper was provided 😉).

I received this item in February 2024, but only got around to fitting it today. The guitar now definitely sounds better: louder, brighter and more sustain.

I've bought several tools from Chris over the last few weeks and they've all been of exceptional quality. The effort and detail they go to to ensure you have all the instructions etc really is fantastic customer service.

Excellent service

Another quality item from Chris, and a really quick turn around in creating a new nut to the specifications I provided. I've only got the nut fitted temporally at the moment as I need to get it seated correctly first, but it's significantly better in terms of both look and sound than the two I'm replacing (I had went from a zero glide to back to the original nut, where the slots were to low after a refret using tools from Chris Alsop, which I also recommend). I'm looking forward to getting the nut seated correctly (issue with nut slot on guitar, nut is perfect) and using the guitar in anger again...

The caring way to try and find a well overdue Royal Mail delivery and when it was eventually received the swift turn round of the production of the bone saddle.
The return was very swift and I am very grateful to Sharon and Chris for the way they reacted to a possible difficult position not of their making.

Fret file. Lovely tool and seems to have done a good job! The first time I have levelled and crowned frets so any errors will be mine!
My only comment is that a slightly finer diamond grit could be used as it takes metal off very quickly but leaves quite extreme grooves.
