Good car hire company no hassle picking up car from Gran Canaria airport and no hard sell of extra insurance as it’s all included in price which was very reasonable,
Car was a little damaged when we picked up and seats quite stained, back parcel shelf was broken but the car served us well.
Would hire again from this company.

This is the first time we’ve hired a car from CICAR and it’s been a very good experience.
The all-inclusive rates are extremely competitive, the cars are in perfect condition and spotlessly clean, and the staff are very friendly and professional.
What’s more, the provision of a road map and, above all, the ‘travel guide’ app – which is very well designed and free – are a real bonus for exploring all the treasures of the Canary Islands.
The car was handed over in record time at the airport car park, right inside the terminal.

Cicar is the best car-rental service in Spain. You don't have to pay extra insurance fee. Everything is covered in the basic payment by contrast with other car rental services where you pay basic payment and at pick-up car point they ask for fee of full insurance or they block hundreds euros on your credit.

Additionally, returning car is simple, you just hand them the keys. They don't look at the vehicle condition, no control, no check. Picking up car is as smooth as well. You get the keys and you drove. Both picking and returning car process took few seconds!

Me and my friends are using it for years and will carry on using their car rental services.

The Car was perfect, new, and the stuff too

As always, CICAR rentals work fine. We rented a car for a week at CICAR La Palma Airport. We were very pleased with this. The only recommendation we have is clearer instructions for the car return. We will come back to CICAR next time we visit the Canaries.

We got different car than we ordered. We were told that the car is new and that’s the reason why it is not listed in the website but it was definitelly not a new car with almost 15k km and it was from lower price range. It could be better cleaned as well.

Easy collect and return of car. Good car. Easy booking and friendly staff.

Being able to take the car over multiple of the Canary islands is great, however, the car's general condition was less than great:

+ it was not clean (not really important but nevertheless)
+ the wiping blades where cheap and old (it rained a lot, hence this is not really great)
+ the rear-wheels had about 1mm of profile
+ we had a flat tire in the late evening somewhere in the Garajonay National park region. There was (1) no spare tire (2) no information in the car on what to do in case of an emergency (3) no support at the phone line. I would expect at least one of the thing in such a situation. Honestly, this was _really_ shit.
+ the tire got changed eventually, however, they apparently missed to reset the flat-tire warning system of the car resulting in an additional situation of us being (falsely) alarmed some days later that one of the tires lost pressure.

However, there were also nice experiences:

+ Once we reached someone in Valle Gran Rey (in person on the next morning), they immediately organised the car service and we were back on track very soon. Thank you to the Cicar team in Valle Gran Rey for that!
+ Pickup and return of the car at the airport Teneriffe Sur was uncomplicated and relatively fast.
+ We did not pay anything extra for the tire exchange and service (it was apparently included in the full coverage insurance).
